Le droit social, forme juridique prise en France par l'État-providence, est apparu lors de sa fondation comme une alternative globale aux impasses du droit issu de la Révolution. Dans un contexte de développement de la société industrielle, les principes individualistes, égalitaires et consensualistes du modèle civiliste étaient en effet inopérants pour encadrer la situation faite aux travailleurs salariés. Le droit social a entendu substituer une logique distributive à la justice commutative du contrat et de la responsabilité. Aux mécanismes interindividuels, il a préféré un cadre collectif. En lieu et place de la logique formelle et descendante du droit civil, il a imposé une prise en compte concrète et matérielle des rapports sociaux pour en dégager des normes et des institutions praticables. Mais, loin de supplanter intégralement les cadres civilistes du droit, le droit social et ses institutions d'essence solidariste ont en réalité composé avec eux : certaines techniques du droit de la responsabilité ont été maintenues à la périphérie des institutions collectives du droit social. Le droit civil a même reconquis peu à peu une partie du terrain perdu au fur et à mesure qu'il se perfectionnait en liaison avec l'évolution de la société. Cette reconquête permet, en dernière analyse, de mieux saisir la place et la nature exactes du droit social au sein du système juridique français.

Access to information via social media is one of the biggest differentiators of public health crises today. During the early stages of the Covid-19 outbreak in January 2020, we conducted an experiment in Wuhan, China to assess the impact of viral social media content on pro-social and trust behaviours and preferences towards risk taking with known and unknown probabilities. Prior to the experiment, participants viewed one of two videos that had been widely and anonymously shared on Chinese social media: a central government leader visiting a local hospital and supermarket, or health care volunteers transiting to Wuhan. In a control condition, participants watched a neutral video, unrelated to the crisis. Viewing one of the leadership or volunteer videos leads to higher levels of pro-sociality and lesser willingness to take risks in an ambiguous situation relative to the control condition. The leadership video, however, induces lower levels of trust. We provide evidence from two post-experiment surveys that the video's impact on pro-sociality is modulated by influencing the viewer's affective emotional state.

Our article deals with the representation of social problems by ordinary families in St Petersburg. We try to answer two questions: How are statements about social problems constructed? What are the citizens of St Petersburg referring to when they talk about social problems? Our material consists of loosely structured thematic interviews with 42 families in St Petersburg in 1993. The interviews were part of a joint Finnish‐Russian study on living conditions, survival strategies, social problems and social networks in Russia. The title of our paper comes from the somewhat surprising observation that dirt and disorder in everyday life were the most frequently mentioned social problems. These and other statements made about social problems in present‐day Russia are taken as examples of social constructs and it is argued that these privately produced claims should be conceived as part of the public claims‐making process within the constructionist tradition. Instead of the traditional four‐field (private/public intersecting with the symbolic/practical) scheme, however, we suggest a more complex 'hexagon' scheme, in order to emphasize that the speaker as a subject employs multiple identities (various conceptions of 'me' and 'us') simultaneously. The hexagon model enables us to analyse the scattered references to dirt in a unifying framework of concepts. In answer to the question of why dirt is perceived to be such an important social problem for the citizens of St Petersburg it is concluded that dirt (like other identified social problems) is a multi‐dimensional phenomenon that refers on a practical and symbolic level to a variety of larger concerns.Notre article concerne la représentation des problèmes sociaux par les familles ordinaires de Saint Pétersbourg. Nous essayons de répondre à deux questions: Comment sont construites les formulations des problèmes sociaux? De quoi parlent les citoyens de Saint Pétesbourg quand ils parlent de problèmes sociaux? Notre matériel se compose des interviews thématiques à structure flexible de 42 familles de Saint Pétersbourg faites en 1993. Ces interviews faisaient partie d'une étude conjointe finlandaise et russe sur les conditions de vie, les stratagèmes de survie, les problèmes et les réseaux sociaux en Russie. Le titre de notre article provient de l'observation quelque peu surprenante que la saleté et le désordre dans la vie de tous les jours sont les problèmes sociaux les plus couramment cités. Ces formulations des problèmes sociaux dans la Russie actuelle sont prises comme exemples de constructions sociales, et nous soutenons que ces demandes produites en privé doivent être con¸ues comme faisant partie des demandes publiques dans la tradition constructiviste. A la place du modèle traditionnel à quatre champs (le public/privé recoupant le symbolique/pratique), nous suggérons un modèle 'hexagone' plus complexe afin de souligner que la personne qui parle, en tant que sujet, utilise simultanément des identités multiples (plusieurs concepts de 'moi' et 'nous'). Le modèle 'hexagone' nous permet d'analyser les allusions à la saleté, bien que dispersées, dans une structure de concepts unifiée. En réponse à la question de savoir pourquoi la saleté est per¸ue comme un problème social d'une telle importance par les citoyens de Saint Pétersbourg, nous concluons est que la saleté (comme les autres problèmes sociaux identifiés) est un phénomène à plusieurs dimensions qui se rapporte à une variété de problèmes plus généraux au niveau pratique et symbolique.

This study investigates intergroup perceptions between the members of minority and majority factions of a political party. Two hypotheses were tested derivedfrom the social identity approach to intergroup relations. First, it was predicted that minority group members would display higher levels of intergroup differentiation than majority group members, associated with a lower level of intergroup understanding. Second, it was predicted that, within each group, level of ingroup identification would be positively related to intergroup differentiation. A postal questionnaire was completed by 136 members of the British Labour Party, 92 supporters of the majority group, and 44 supporters of the minority group. Findings confirmed both hypotheses, and further investigation suggested that the significance of ingroup identification derived from its impact on ingroup ratings rather than on outgroup ratings. The implications of these findings for the underlying dynamics of intergroup differentiation are discussed.

The political economy literature has not considered in detail the dynamic interrelationship between one politico-economic system and another. To fill this lacuna, the author uses a VAR model to study the relationship between social democratic popularity and the economy not only within but also between the Scandinavian countries. In addition to the expected macroeconomic interdependence, there is empirical support for the traditional partisan theory. Economic voting is found only in Denmark. Social democratic popularity is not much affected by the economy, but it is found that the economy is influenced by social democratic popularity. An increase in the popularity of the social democrats eventually causes higher inflation. In particular the popularity of the Swedish Social Democrats creates inflationary pressure in Sweden, and this pressure is exported to Denmark and Norway as well. Résumé Sociologie politique du droit, cette recherche met en évidence les liens entre le développement après la Seconde Guerre mondiale du droit social international et la mise en place du droit social européen. En s'appuyant sur une sociologie de la mobilisation transnationale des professionnels du droit social, l'enquête analyse le rôle d'intermédiaires que jouent ces juristes (fonctionnaires nationaux et internationaux, universitaires) qui connectent champs académiques nationaux, administrations nationales et organisations internationales entre eux. L'article insiste en particulier sur l'importance des juristes de la Société internationale de droit du travail et de la Sécurité sociale, une association internationale créée avec l'aide de l'Organisation internationale du travail. L'article montre que le développement du droit social européen repose sur des conceptions et des pratiques professionnelles éprouvées internationalement. La mobilisation des juristes de droit social par les fonctionnaires des Communautés européennes rend ainsi le droit social européen dépendant de formes juridiques internationales préexistantes. Le droit social européen s'analyse donc comme le produit d'une régionalisation de savoirs juridiques internationaux.

This research, which focuses on some aspects that link the digital life of university students and their civic, political and social involvement, aims to determine the level of engagement of young people in association-related actions or institutions through digital networks. Additionally, this paper attempts to specify the relationship between the level of social/political participation of this sector of the population and the interest of its members in the social media profiles of civically engaged subjects or organizations. It also looks at differences in access and interactivity in profiles with social and/or participatory interest between young people with some degree of civic commitment and those who are not involved any associations. While the data obtained through a convenience sample support, once again, youth disaffection towards institutionalized politics, the high intensity of digital access among all young people is confirmed, which a priori increases the possibilities of making civil society stronger. However, the intensive use of social networks by young people is not positively associated with a greater degree of civic involvement. Finally, it is observed that young people prefer to consume content rather than to produce it. ; Aquesta investigació, que té per objecte d'estudi alguns aspectes que vinculen la vida digital dels universitaris i la seva implicació ciutadana, política i social, pretén determinar el grau de compromís d'aquests joves en accions o institucions associatives mitjançant les xarxes digitals. Així mateix, intenta precisar la relació entre el nivell de participació social/ política d'aquest sector de la població i el seu interès en els perfils d'organitzacions o subjectes amb compromís ciutadà. També aborda l'existència de diferències en l'accés i la interactivitat en perfils amb interès social o participatiu entre els joves amb algun grau de compromís ciutadà i els desvinculats de l'associacionisme. Mentre que les dades obtingudes a través d'una mostra de conveniència avalen, un cop més, la desafecció juvenil cap a la política institucionalitzada, es confirma que la intensitat en l'accés digital és molt alta entre els joves, la qual cosa a priori incrementa les possibilitats de fer més forta la societat civil. No obstant això, l'ús intensiu que fan els joves de les xarxes socials no s'associa positivament amb un major grau d'implicació cívica. I, finalment, s'observa que opten més per consumir contingut que no pas per produir-ne. ; Esta investigación, que tiene por objeto de estudio algunos aspectos que vinculan la vida digital de los universitarios y su implicación ciudadana, política y social, pretende determinar el grado de compromiso de estos jóvenes en acciones o instituciones asociativas mediante las redes digitales. Asimismo, intenta precisar la relación entre el nivel de participación social/política de este sector de la población y su interés en los perfiles de organizaciones o sujetos con compromiso ciudadano. También aborda la existencia de diferencias en el acceso e interactividad en perfiles con interés social o participativo entre los jóvenes con algún grado de compromiso ciudadano y los desvinculados del asociacionismo. Mientras los datos obtenidos a través de una muestra de conveniencia avalan, una vez más, la desafección juvenil hacia la política institucionalizada, se confirma que la intensidad en el acceso digital es muy alta entre los jóvenes, lo que a priori incrementa las posibilidades de hacer más fuerte a la sociedad civil. Sin embargo, el uso intensivo que hacen los jóvenes de las redes sociales no se asocia positivamente con un mayor grado de implicación cívica. Y, finalmente, se observa que optan más por consumir contenido que por producirlo.

Research utilization (RU) is crucial to preparing the next generation of registered nurses, since they are expected to stay abreast of research, read and use existing research to improve their ability to solve problems, and make decisions independently in clinical settings. Also, baccalaureate nursing programs often identify RU as an expected curricular outcome. The purpose of this study was to identify nursing students' perceptions about RU. In this study, we used a sequential mixed methods approach. In this paper, only qualitative analysis related to RU is reported. A qualitative descriptive design was used to address the study questions. A purposive sample of 20 undergraduate students enrolled in their final year of study in BScN programs (four-year basic, honors, and accelerated programs) was recruited via e-mail to participate in the study. The study findings were categorized into the components of the Promoting Action on Research Implementation in Health Services (PARIHS) framework, which is comprised of evidence, context, and facilitation. Findings disclosed some key themes that nursing students perceive as facilitating or restricting their use of research. These themes include level of education preparedness, clinical experience and expertise, lack of time, theory practice gap, and clinical evaluation criteria, nursing faculty support for using research, and faculty's' competency in research. The majority of students stated that they did not utilize the research findings in clinical practice. Insufficient knowledge about RU was the most prominent reason. These results suggest that students should be encouraged and supported to utilize research findings in their practice settings.

AbstractIn this article, the focus is on developing a governance concept built on integrating the ISO 26000 Social Responsibility (SR) standard with an "employee social responsibility" (ESR) concept developed by the authors. To this end. The authors propose to compliment the voluntary, organizationally adaptable, ISO 26000 SR standard for the organization/firm with a seamlessly integrated—and equally adaptable—ESR concept for the individual/employee of that organization/firm. An SR/ESR governance concept emerges, with an emphasis on implementing a SR‐based business enterprise code of conduct and ESR‐related functional‐level codes of conduct, the latter firmly ensconced in an organization's ethical climate. The conclusion section discusses the strengths and weaknesses of our proposed SR/ESR governance concept.

The evolution of the political situation in a country, the change of political system, economic changes, new benchmarks in national political and social, etc., All this had its effect on the social function of the language and its components. Historical events of the twentieth century have had a major influence on the history of the Azerbaijani language. It is during this period that the Azerbaijani language has encountered a problem without precedent. We can accept the fact that, the language system has not changed in a century because social change cannot completely change the structure of a language. However, it can involve changes in certain levels of language such as the alphabet, vocabulary, dynamics of social functioning of the Azerbaijani language in different periods of the twentieth century.The process of formation of national identity began with the entry of Azerbaijan in the modern phase of development that is related to the intensity of the action on modernization. A linguistic and cultural issue was the major point in this process. It was marked by the search for national identity. At the stage of fighting for open political ideals preceded mastery of cultural and linguistic problem, because they were more affordable by the population as political concepts difficult. ; L'évolution de la situation politique d'un pays, dont le changement de son système politique, les transformations économiques, les nouveaux repères dans la politique nationale et sociale, produisent un effet notable sur la fonction sociale de la langue et sur ses composantes. Le collectif EPTS souhaite provoquer l'interrogation sur les pratiques, repenser l'éducation populaire dans le contexte actuel, rassembler pour transformer dans un objectif de « changement social ». D'où la création de trois groupes : – la gratuité : penser la gratuité relève d'un processus de réflexion et d'action susceptible de s'opposer au processus de marchandisation ainsi que d'un processus de transformation des rapports sociaux ; – la jeunesse : elle souhaite vivre et non survivre. Il y a donc à inventer des procédures qui illustreront une « délégation d'intérêt public » avec une répartition des tâches entre la puissance publique et la puissance sociale, permettant d'ouvrir de nouveaux espaces ; – la solidarité territoriale : la ville est défaite. Elle peut être refaite autrement, en prenant appui sur les forces auxquelles sa décomposition a donné lieu, en les reliant comme autant de fragments qui composent un ensemble auquel ne manque que la volonté de les unir.
