У статті розкрито актуальність проблеми виховання й оздоровлення студентської молоді, яка визначається, насамперед, новими завданнями, поставленими на заняттях фізичного виховання у вузах – готувати підростаюче покоління до активної участі в управлінні господарськими, політичними й суспільними справами своєї країни. Моральна вихованість є важливим напрямом роботи, спрямованої на всебічний і гармонійний розвиток особистості. Вона обіймає всі види виховання, визначаючи людину як суспільного суб'єкта, що характеризується активною позицією в засвоєнні й прояві соціальних вимог, тому підвищення ефективності морального виховання в сучасних умовах є важливою передумовою успішного здійснення виховання в цілому. Виділення моральної вихованості в спеціальний об'єкт дослідження пояснюється глибоким взаємозв'язком соціальних, психологічних і педагогічних закономірностей розвитку особистості. Мета нашого дослідження – визначити пріоритети фізичного виховання, спрямовані на виявлення особистісних властивостей окремого індивідуума вести здоровий спосіб життя в контексті визначення цінностей здоров'я. ; In the article the new targets set by the state to the Ukrainian people are to prepare the younger generation to actively participate in the management of economic, political and social affairs of the country. Moral education is an important work to comprehensive harmonious development of a personality. It covers all types of training, defining a man as a social unit, which manifests an active role in learning and manifestation of social demands, therefore increasing the efficiency of moral, education in present conditions in an important prerequisite for the success of education in general. Bold moral education in a special unit of study explains the deep interrelation of social, psychological and educational patterns of a personality development. The aim of our study is to determine the priorities of physical education aimed at identifying personal characteristics of an individual in a healthy live in the context of determining the value of health. Social activity is the synthesis of specific manifestations of physiological and physical functions of the human body as the highest biological system. This specificity is due to primarily focused mind and will of a man, subjectively determines social activity, regulates the content and form of expression. The tasks of social activity of young student content provided various kinds of activities that are organized in high school and beyond. Educational and training activities of student youth is a type of social activity. It is stressed that sports clubs do not only educate and develop the physical qualities of youth, but also educate the teachers of the department of physical education of our university, heads of sports clubs to plan their work in conjunction with the education of students of high moral qualities which are essential to future teachers to enable them to be subsequently prepared for the moral education of the younger generation. The general orientation of training activities in sports clubs is determined. Every young person constantly enriches his knowledge, promotes cultural level, mentally and physically improved. In teaching and training activities the student youth realize the demands of society to educate its public activity, gradually increasing the full development.

Early Greek ethics embodied in Cretan and Spartan mores, served as a model
for Plato`s political theory. Plato theorized the contents of early Greek
ethics, aspiring to justify and revitalize the fundamental principles of a
traditional view of the world. However, according to Plato`s new insight,
deed is further from the truth than a thought i.e. theory. The dorian model
had to renounce its position to the perfect prototype of a righteous state,
which is a result of the inner logic of philosophical theorizing in early
Greek ethics. Prototype and model of philosophical reflection, in comparison
to philosophical theory, becomes minor and deficient. Philosophical
theorizing of early Greek ethics philosophically formatted Greek heritage,
initiating substantial changes to the content of traditional ethics.
Replacement of the myth with ontology, as a new foundation of politics,
transformed early Greek ethics in various relevant ways.

Technological advancements in education have turned the idea of machines as teachers into a reality. To better understand this phenomenon, the present study explores how college students develop expectations (or anticipations) about a machine teacher, particularly an AI teaching assistant. Specifically, the study examines whether students' previous experiences with online courses taught by a human teacher would influence their expectations about AI teaching assistants in future online courses. An online survey was conducted to collect data from college students in the United States. Findings indicate that positively experienced social presence of a human teacher helps develop positive expectations about an AI teaching assistant. The study provides meaningful implications and contributions to our understanding of a machine agent in education

Since forever colleges and universities compete with each other for students, teachers, donors and social support. For a long time, the competition has been evaluated by implicit reputation without any data to back up perceptions. Recently the competition has been accelerated in many countries as governments develop initiatives to build world-class universities that can compete more effectively with other leading institutions across the globe. Although there are concerns with using rankings as tool for measuring the quality of a university, many institutional leaders still often rely on rankings to inform their policymaking. Global rankings have major impacts on higher education systems, higher education institutions, academics and consumers (students, parents, employers). For this reason, university rankings should encourage universities around the world to carry out a self assessment in relation to several quality issues, including sustainability. None of the main global rankings have so far addressed the issue, both in terms of good practice assessments and as an important signal to society as a whole. The introduction of sustainability in global rankings could be an important addition to the existing metrics and a significant dimension of comparison with multiple and far reaching benefits, not only for single universities as well as for the entire higher educational system. It is important introducing sustainability in global rankings not simply as a criterion for identifying the best universities, but as a general underlying best practice principle in university activities, in the same way they have been recognized in all other institutions such as companies and households.

Increased funding will be tied to concrete improvements in all schools under the government's National Plan for School Improvement, announced on Monday in response to the Gonski Review. The government has set a goal to see Australian schools ranked in the top five for student performance in reading, science and mathematics by 2025. In order to get there the government says it will deliver higher standards and extra training for teachers, more power for principals, a "school improvement plan" for every school, and identification of struggling schools and extra help to lift their results. The Conversation has collected a panel of responses to the National Plan for School Improvement.

We use the Demographic and Health Survey of 2006 to examine the relationship between female education, contraceptive use, and fertility rates in Uganda. Our findings reveal that female education, especially at the secondary and post-secondary levels, increases the likelihood of using contraceptives and reduces fertility. As a result, measures that aim to educate women beyond secondary level are needed. The government programme to extend free education at the secondary level is an important measure that may help to reduce fertility and should therefore be strengthened.

AbstractFor Dewey education is the growth of mental powers, where "growth" has no fixed content but involves the increasing harmonization of individuals with society. That harmonization must respect the uniqueness of each person and his capacity for intelligence. Education aims to develop a model democratic society, which Dewey sees as similar to an ideal community of scientific inquirers. That comparison is highly questionable, however. Dewey's curricular emphases include science, geography, history, literature, and fine arts, the last two of which promote a greater appreciation for all of human life—provided society is not too separated into classes. Related to social division is what he considers the false problems of epistemology, with its separation between mind and world. But Dewey's failure to think more rigorously about the relation of philosophy to science makes his philosophy a poor bulwark against postmodernism.

This essay offers a "version" of Vinciane Despret's "ethology of ethology" through close engagement with the concepts Despret constructs in What Would Animals Say if We Asked the Right Questions? Reading Despret with other thinkers associated with feminist science studies, the essay sketches Despret's critique of reductive animal science, and her corresponding work—often collaborative—to find more open, risky ways of researching animal behavior, including the behavior of the human animals we call "scientists." The distinction between control-driven work in laboratories and the more anecdotal observations she finds in some ethology and anthropology leads Despret to propose a certain ethics of asking questions and listening to answers that Snaza proposes could guide a different, more risky approach to educational research.

This paper aims to contribute to the valuable conversation about the role of deliberative democracy in teacher education. I consider both using pedagogy that engages deliberative democracy in process, thereby enhancing teaching, and advancing deliberative democracy as a worthy goal in teacher education. I begin by looking at recent changes in society that have reshaped student goals, educational accountability, and the priority of democracy within higher education. I highlight these changes to issue a call for a thoroughgoing commitment to deliberative democracy both in theory and in practice, as a means and an end. I expand on the definition of deliberative democracy and the skills necessary to fulfilling it as they relate to the goals of teacher education. I close by turning to exemplary programs in teacher education and showcasing some smaller steps toward incorporating democratic practices and assignments.

The educational composition of the adult population and that of the labour force are statistically analyzed in relation to the level of economic development and structural difference between Southeast and East Asia.
