Die Autorin, die eine fortdauernd ambivalente Haltung der osteuropäischen Staaten gegenüber der privaten Landwirtschaft konstatiert, stellt in ihrer Studie den Anteil des privaten Sektors an der landwirtschaftlichen Nutzfläche wie an der Gesamtproduktion landwirtschaftlicher Güter in Bulgarien, in der CSSR, in der DDR, in Ungarn, Polen, Rumänien und Bulgarien zum Vergleich. Am Beispiel Polens und Jugoslawiens, die ihre Landwirtschaft weitgehend auf private Basis gestellt haben, erläutert sie die Resultate staatlicher Reformmaßnahmen und wirtschaftspolitischer Anreizstrategien. Im Rahmen ihrer Ausführungen geht sie daneben auf die Probleme der Preispolitik (Interessen des Staates, der Erzeuger) ein. (BIOst-Hml)
