Después de revisar detenidamente la LOE y compararla con la de 1980 y más aún al analizar el Nuevo Currículo Nacional, creemos que esta Ley –a pesar de lo que señala la oposición política– es de corto alcance. La mayoría de sus articulados son muy similares a los contenidos en Ley que la precede, cuando más lo que hace es normalizar lo establecido por la Constitución de 1999, lo cual, además de tarde era un mandato. No vemos en esta Ley nada que tenga que ver con una sociedad socialista, este término –y lo más importante, sus implicaciones– no aparece reflejado directamente y lo que hace es reforzar la condición de ciudadanos republicanos y la necesidad de profundizar en la democracia participativa y es solo el tratamiento sobre el poder popular el que le da un cierto avance, pero aún muy tímido. ; This study shows a thorough revision of the current Organic Law of Education (LOE), an analysis of the National Curriculum and a comparison between the current LOE and the LOE of 1980. Despite what the political opposition says, the LOE falls short in its objectives; in fact, most articles in both laws are similar and at the most what it does is normalize what is established in the Venezuelan Constitution of 1999. Neither a socialist view nor socialism- related terms/implications are found in this Law; instead, the condition of a republican citizen is constantly mentioned as well as the constitutional character of democratic participation. The concept of people's power is also shown but still under-represented. ; Após revisar detalhadamente a LOE e a comparar com a lei de 1980, e ainda mais, ao analisar o Novo Currículo Nacional, acreditamos que esta Lei –embora o dito pela oposição política– é de curto alcanço. A maioria dos seus articulados são muito similares aos contidos na Lei anterior, e as vezes apenas normaliza o estabelecido pela Constituição de 1999, o qual, além de tarde, era um mandato. Die vorliegende empirische Rezeptionsanalyse untersucht die Bedeutung filmkommunikativer Prozesse in der Persönlichkeitsentwicklung von Jugendlichen. Durch eine schriftliche Befragung von ca. 1.000 Schülern der 7. bis 9. Klassen in Dresden, Leipzig und Wurzen wurden u.a. folgende Aspekte erfaßt: (1) Erfahrungen mit und Erwartungen an Partnerbeziehungen und an deren filmische Darstellung; (2) Einordnung der Filmerwartungen und der Filmrezeption in die Freizeitgestaltung; (3) Wünsche und Schlußfolgerungen für die zukünftige Medienproduktion zum Thema Partnerbeziehungen. Die Ergebnisse werden auf ihre medienpolitische Relevanz hin diskutiert. (pmb)

Sports betting plays a major role in how fans and spectators enjoy sports. Fans place bets in their living rooms, engage in online fantasy sports, and travel to Nevada for massive Super Bowl parties just for the thrill of wagering on the "big game." Yet, until 2018, the federal government banned sports betting, making states unable to exploit this lucrative business, even though the sports betting industry estimates that billions of dollars are spent on illegitimate sports wagering. With the recent striking of the federal ban on the regulation of sports betting, states have begun to benefit from sports betting within their own borders, creating a patchwork of legislation that operators must navigate. But state-specific legislation does not fully solve the problem of unregulated and untaxed interstate gambling that is still bound to occur. To take advantage of untaxed revenue and protect citizens who might otherwise explore illegitimate and unsafe betting options, this Note argues the federal government must enact comprehensive laws legalizing and creating rules specifically for interstate sports betting operators.
