Indonesia is a multiethnic nation that has various physical characteristic and culture. Each ethnic has its own characteristic, the skin color, langguage, art, custom, social structurem and cultureThese variousity of human and culture is a form of human adaptation process into the different environment as the result of the wide archipelago area. In the process of a country development, since the independence era until today, it seems that one particular ethnic has a different development level to the other. In fact, today there is a high tendency of discrepancy among ethnics, whether it is the aspect of economy, social, technology, politic, or culture. This discrepency has an implicatioin of horizontal conflict trigerred by the jelousy regarding the matter of economy, social, culture. The ethnic of madura is one of some ethnics in Indonesia with a high rate of migration. They live in several area of Indonesia, particularly Java, Sumatera, and Kalimantan. Due to the natural resources limitation in madura, about 70 % Madurese live and reside the Madura island (Djojomartono, 1985). They work in various sector, particularly the informal sectors, services, and fisherman. This article is based on research focused on interethnic relationship and social harmony: social interaction between Madurese and other ethnics in Sumenep regency.

The existence and changing of generations in family life, business and politics was a central feature of towns as well as rural societies in earlier times. Even so, it remains understudied by urban historians of the pre-modern period. This book aims to fill some of this gap, containing twelve studies of generations in late medieval and early modern European towns, ranging from the Mediterranean to the Nordic countries, with a time-span from the fourteenth to the early nineteenth century. Dealing with topics like succession and inheritance, family consciousness, as well as relations and conflicts within and between generations, the articles demonstrate the importance and potential of generational studies on pre-modern towns. The article highlights one of the approaches to becoming a competitive specialist through the formation of an integrated personal and professional property, which represents the individual's awareness of the exceptional importance of professional responsibility, the necessary degree of legal competence. The modern scientific idea of phenomenology and the corresponding threshold range of the serviceman's legal competence formation are detailed («conscious competence», «unconscious competence», «conscious incompetence», «unconscious incompetence»). The constructiveness of the specified approach of professional activity which promotes the performance of civil and military duty of servicemen under the contract who are trained in the training centers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is proved. The article details some practices regarding the development of these professionals' social responsibility, focuses on the resourcefulness of interactive methods, effective technologies of propaedeutics of deformation in the legal consciousness of servicemen. Since the specifics of military service actualizes the social component of professional responsibility and the role of legal consciousness, the article analyzes the resources of a practice-oriented approach aimed at improving legal competence through the system of legal education. The systematic study of the factors of social responsibility of the professional's personality and his/her social maturity is considered to be promising. ; У статті висвітлюється один із підходів до становлення конкурентоздатного фахівця через формування інтегрованої особистісно-професійної якості, котра репрезентує усвідомленість особистістю виключного значення відповідальності, необхідний ступінь сформованості правової компетентності. At the present stage of development of our country there is an increase in social tensions in society, a decrease in the well-being of the population and an accumulation of social problems. The increase in social problems poses a threat to national security, which can cause disruption to the equilibrium and stability of Ukraine's economy.In our opinion, social security is determined by the existence of such a state of development of social relations (material-everyday, housing-communal, socio-cultural), which would enable citizens to satisfy their current and future needs in them at a sufficient level, to offset the impact of threats. Achieving an optimal situation in this field is possible only as a result of deliberate action on the main components of social policy, political objectives and opportunities of the domestic economy. The main components of social policy that determine the level of social security include: the level of income of the population, wages, employment, demographic situation, socio-class differentiation.Despite the steady rise in nominal wages, real wages did not have a steady rise. Despite the relatively high employment rate in Ukraine, its indicators tend to decline. During 2010 - 2018, there was a negative population growth. On the basis of comparison of actual and threshold values of social security of the state and regions, as well as tendencies of its development, a situational analysis of the state of social security of Ukraine in the regional dimension was conducted. This made it possible to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and security threats. In order to improve the situation regarding the provision of social security of the state and the regions, the following provisions should be implemented: increase of state funding of social development programs; creation of new and improvement of existing working conditions of the population; improving the social process management system at the regional level; development of effective programs for providing housing, education, culture, medicine to the population.
