The economic situation of EU dairy farms is unstable and differs strongly between member countries. Most studies addressing the EU&rsquo ; s agricultural sector focus on selected countries or selected groups of operators. Conversely, this paper seeks to determine the economic situation of dairy farms in EU countries grouped into types according to their production potential. The analysis relied on data collected and processed in the FADN (Farm Accountancy Data Network). The farms were classified based on a hierarchical clustering routine. The agglomerative technique was used. Distances between clusters were calculated using the Ward&rsquo ; s method. In turn, the distance between countries was calculated as the Euclidean distance. This study enabled the identification of five different types of dairy farms in the EU. On an EU-wide basis, medium and large-sized highly specialized intensive farms play a key role in milk production. Despite their profitability being somehow restricted, they report high levels of labor productivity thanks to an advantageous production potential. In turn, an insufficient potential is among the main restrictions faced by other dairy farms in the EU ; their advantageous financial indicators often fail to provide satisfactory levels of income which could drive investment and consumption opportunities.

Austerity has become a key term in economic and social policy debates. Although austerity has been contested both in terms of economic theory and policy-making, it has been remarkably resilient. This resilience has been explained, for example, in structural and institutional terms by the rise of the 'debt state'. Other explanations have emphasised the strength of austerity ideas rooted in 'ordo-liberal' economic theory. Following the insights of science technology scholarship and its emphasis on the social co-production of authoritative knowledge, this article proposes a stronger focus on organisations and their links across nation state borders for an explanation of the stability of austerity capitalism and the thinking underpinning it. The scrutiny of think tank networks, the article proposes, can help bridge the gap between ideational and structural explanations.

In the CRUNT TEMPUS project, e-pedagogy of using ITC learning environments was used. Elearning inter-university network of Moldova uses a virtual learning environment for training and learning process improvement dedicated to engineering students. The article presents some methodological elements that contributed to the success of TEMPUS CRUNT Project. Several web courses, based on Blended Learning methodology are highlighted. This paper presents elearning instruction materials for engineering undergraduates developed on the Virtual Learning Environment http://elearning.utm.md/moodle/login/index.php/. Electrical Engineering and Technology (EET) Discipline model is a new approach to learning electrical technology-one that presents concepts in the customary logically developed order but illustrates them with exemplars that reflect the applications students are interested in. Electrical Engineering Discipline resources are especially for secondary school teachers and students, with topics ranging from introductory to advanced Electrical Engineering and Technology.Teachers will find reliable and quality resources including videos, articles, demonstrations, worksheets, assessments and activities all in one location. Resources are searchable by topic and standards. eLearning Modules are using visualization of electrical engineering concepts.
