A growing body of scholarship addresses what Indigenous peoples have always known: stories are critically important to who we are and how to be in the world. For Wounaan, an Indigenous people of Panama and Colombia, ancestors' stories are no longer frequently told. As part of the Wounaan Podpa Nʌm Pömaam (National Wounaan Congress) and Foundation for the Development of Wounaan People's project on bird guiding, birds and culture, and forest restoration in Panama, we leveraged the publication requirement as political intervention and anticolonial practice in storying worlds. This article is the story of our storying, the telling and crafting of an illustrated story book that honors Wounaan convivial lifeworlds, Wounaan chaain döhigaau nemchaain hoo wënʌʌrrajim/Los niños wounaan, en sus aventuras vieron muchas aves/The Adventures of Wounaan Children and Many Birds. Here, we have used video conference minutes and recordings, voice and text messages, emails, recollections, and a conference co-presentation to show stories as Indigenous method and reality, as epistemological and ontological. We use a narrative form to weave together our collaborative process and polish the many storying decisions on relationality, time, egalitarianism, movement, rivers, embodiment, and verbal poetics through an everyday adventure of siblings and birds. Available as a multimodal illustrated story book in digital audio and print, we conclude by advocating for new media to further storying Indigenous lifeworlds.

Rumah Atsiri Indonesia is located in Plumbon Village, Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java Province. This study aims to determine the potential and the development strategy of educational tourism at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia in the era of adapting to a new normal. This study used qualitative research method. The data collection technique was done by triangulation, namely a combination of observation, interview, and documentation from various accurate data sources. The data analysis technique used was SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that Rumah Atsiri Indonesia with the concept of educational tourism has natural and cultural potentials. The implementation of the CHSE Health Protocols at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia in the era of adapting to a new normal has run smoothly and has received the CHSE Certification label from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia. The development strategies of educational tourism at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia are as follows: (a) maximizing the various types of tourist attractions; (b) conducting digital tourism promotion of educational tourism at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia; (c) increasing the quality and quantity of facilities for the visitors; (d) Scheduling annual tourism activities; (e) adjusting the price of products and services with the service quality; (f) increasing the competence of tourism human resources; (g) introducing the various types of plants and their benefits for health; and (h) collaborating with various stakeholders from academia, business, government, community, and media.

The article examines the concept of transparency in the activities of the courts and its role in the administration of justice. Information about the private lives of persons who cannot be disclosed and will be heard in closed court shall be specified in detail and shall include personal audio and video recordings, photographs and films, electronic, digital and other documentary means in addition to personal correspondence and other personal messages. When the case is heard in closed session of the court, it should be borne in mind that the participation of persons under the age of sixteen is not allowed if there are no persons involved in the case or witnesses. Persons involved in the case and other persons, including members of the media, should be empowered to make written recordings of their participation in public hearings, including audio and video recordings of the proceedings at their place of residence. Filming and photographing of the court session, video recording, live radio and television broadcasting, video broadcasting on the Internet information and communication network shall be allowed with the consent of the parties and with the permission of the presiding judge. it is expedient to provide that these actions shall not interfere with the conduct of the trial and may be limited by time by the court. A court ruling that all or part of the case shall be heard in closed session shall be issued and consolidated in the minutes of the court session.

Hoax news or information relating to Covid-19 affects the obstruction of efforts to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive study because it provides an overview or description of students' perceptions in news related to the covid-19 hoax. The results that obtained information from this study were 208 respondents or 54% of the total respondents considered hoaxes as information with no known truth, 168 respondents or 44% revealed that hoaxes related to Covid-19 were most often found or said to be hoaxes as a global elite conspiracy, 223 respondents or 58% of the total respondents received hoaxes related to Covid-19 through writing and pictures, 162 respondents or 42% of the total respondents considered that steps that could be taken to overcome the spread of hoaxes related to Covid-19 were cross-checking or clarifying first , 317 respondents or 83% thought that each party was responsible for overcoming the spread of hoaxes related to Covid-19 and 150 respondents or 39% of the total analysis that information on social media had a negative influence. The conclusion in this study is that health hoaxes can not only cause disputes like political hoaxes, but can also cause the loss of a person's life. Digital literacy skills will be able to provide hoax. Critical and analytical thinking is also an asset to prevent the spread of covid-19 related to hoaxes

Recent scholarship has expanded upon the concept of populism as performance to include a focus on how it employs digital technologies. However, what happens when theatrical performances appropriate far-right populist discourse to potentially parody how it frames its nationalist rhetoric as an appeal to 'the people'? How do the relationships between performers and spectator-participants in such artistic works differ from those forged through the public manifestations of populist politics? How have artists who engage with populism employed technology to increase the reach and interactivity of their performances, and how does this engagement seek to undermine, and/or generate a troubling 'belief' in, the supposed 'reality' of such projects? This article critically reassesses the transmedial theatre of the late German artist Christoph Schlingensief and the Tallinn-based theatre company, Theatre NO99, in relation to current understandings of populism within an increasingly digitized, post-truth society. Schlingensief and NO99 might be seen to employ strategies of 'subversive affirmation' and 'over-identification' in their aims to resist the rise of far-right populism. Yet, we argue that these approaches can be dangerous: artists can reinforce far-right populist agendas if audiences fail to self-reflexively decode and reject subtle yet effective forms of mass manipulation – which is more likely when the components of such projects are dispersed across multiple media platforms through which counterfactual information also increasingly circulates.

Documented skeletal collections are the backbone of forensic anthropology due to their associated biohistories. This paper describes the identified skeletal collections and their relevance in forensic anthropological research, education and training in the US. The establishment of documented skeletal collections in the US can be distinguished into two modus operandi, depending on the stance towards the dead, legislation, and medical and forensic practices. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, anatomists amassed skeletons from cadaver dissections, shaped by European influences. Those skeletons compose the anatomical collections—such as the Robert J. Terry Anatomical Collection—predominantly representing impoverished and unclaimed individuals. Ethical concerns for the curation and research of African American skeletons without family consent are growing in the US. In contrast, since the 1980s, modern documented skeletal collections originated from body donations to human taphonomy facilities, such as the William M. Bass Donated Skeletal Collection. The establishment and testing of osteological methods essential to establish one's identity—such as age at death and sex—have been developed with skeletons from documented collections. This working paper investigates the livelihoods, trajectories, networks and self-generated opportunities of vulnerable migrants in refugee-like situations in Dar es Salaam. Its main purpose is to arrive at a deeper understanding of protracted displacement through a 'figurational approach', which stresses the networks and the interdependencies of urban refugees in Dar es Salaam, across Tanzania, and across national borders. Refugees' social relations do not unfold in a vacuum but are shaped by the regimes of aid and asylum that govern their lives. In a context of constant fear of imprisonment and deportation, this working paper gives particular attention to the alliances that the vulnerable migrants build within Dar es Salaam. It underlines their agency and coping strategies, as they bring with them many valuable skills. Capitalising on these skills can result in longstanding partnerships between vulnerable migrants and locals. Spaces of freedom where displaced people do not need to live in a perpetual state of fear and uncertainty are equally important. More than focusing on constraints, this paper underlines the urban refugees' agency and survival strategies. We pay particular attention to the mobility and connectivity of female urban refugees, also within a digital context. Through (social media) entrepreneurship, women in refugee-like situations have managed to overcome immobilisation and create new opportunities for themselves. By analysing a variety of life situations throughout this paper, we seek to recognise and pro mote urban refugees' agency and dignity.

The article presents a comparative study on collective perceptions in gender attitudes and marriage strategies approved by the representatives of the Russian ethnic group. The empirical basis for comparison combines obtrusive and unobtrusive methods. In 2014– 2015 we conducted a questionnaire survey among Russian residents of St. Petersburg (the sample was quoted by sex and age, it included 503 participants). Later, in 2017–2019, we performed a non-reactive analysis on the Russian communities in VKontakte network (sample was divided by value orientations, the total number of individual users included 1.051 million people). Big data analytics services, digital Ethnography methods and projective techniques helped us to answer the following questions: – What features does a "just Russian woman" and a "just Russian man" have in the collective consciousness? – What are the structural differences in these perceptions? – How are gender and marriage stereotypes manifested in the "real world" and in cyberspace? Thus, we obtained the conclusion that gendered patterns in both studies changed much more slowly than the models of the marital relationship. In both studies, the content of Russian women portrait was more detailed than the image of a Russian man. Russian social media users have demonstrated a commitment to the Patriarchal model, which was less evident in the questionnaire. In addition, the high level of radicalism and obvious religious values were the reason why women were more consistent with gender and marriage attitudes in the virtual environment.

This article explores the extent to which Covid-19 has impacted the trajectory of EU Cybersecurity Policy. The Covid-19 crisis has led to an unprecedent reliance on digital solutions, ranging from teleworking to virus-tracking systems, resulting in the proliferation of Covid-19 related cybercrime, critical information infrastructure attacks and dissemination of pandemic disinformation. Although the virus has been repeatedly portrayed as life altering and as having considerably increased the cybersecurity risks faced by States, businesses and citizens, the proposed solutions, however, have accelerated existing trends in the field rather than resulting in significant institutional change. In particular, there has been a reinforcement of the role as a coordinating actor, of the introduction of further coherence between sub-areas and instruments, and of the positioning of public-private partnerships at the heart of the policy. However, where the role of social media platforms in facilitating the spread of disinformation is concerned, a changing trust relationship has resulted in a discursive shift in which these platforms require greater oversight, a belief reinforced by the spread of Covid-19 disinformation. The article proposes, through the lenses of historical and discursive institutionalism, that the EU's response to Covid-19 in the field of cybersecurity can only be understood in light of these pre-existing trends, which are the result of an economic and security path dependence that emerged in the 1980s.

Recent progress in genomics has enabled the emergence of a flourishing market for direct-to-consumer (DTC) genetic testing. Companies like 23andMe and AncestryDNA provide affordable health, genealogy, and ancestry reports, and have already tested tens of millions of customers. Consequently, news, experiences, and views on genetic testing are increasingly shared and discussed on social media. At the same time, far-right groups have also taken an interest in genetic testing, using them to attack minorities and prove their genetic "purity." In this paper, we set to study the genetic testing discourse on a number of mainstream and fringe Web communities. We do so in two steps. First, we conduct an exploratory, large-scale analysis of the genetic testing discourse on a mainstream social network such as Twitter. We find that the genetic testing discourse is fueled by accounts that appear to be interested in digital health and technology. However, we also identify tweets with highly racist connotations. This motivates us to explore the connection between genetic testing and racism on platforms with a reputation for toxicity, namely, Reddit and 4chan, where we find that discussions around genetic testing often include highly toxic language expressed through hateful and racist comments. In particular, on 4chan's politically incorrect board (/pol/), content from genetic testing conversations involves several alt-right personalities and openly anti-semitic rhetoric, often conveyed through memes.

This paper revises the category of the emergent reader in the light of the media theory of reading. The purpose is to find a solution to the long-occurring problems of the readers from the age of the television and the digital age, among which are easier reading refusal, reading incomprehension and susceptibility to manipulation when reading. Methods: Systematic and critical analysis was applied to the studies of the new theory of the First Thousand Days of Life, as well as to the effects of the pre-literacy and emergent literacy programs. We also took into account the findings and the recommendations for future research on the developing readers, formulated in the "Stavanger Declaration Concerning the Future of Reading" published in January 2019. The results show that reading foundations are laid much earlier before it was ever thought – a circumstance that is underestimated by parents, politicians, educators and even researchers. Taking into account the increasing risks in the global reading medium, we propose the development of policies for expert trainings on "future image" of the child, professional mentors on home and family reading and personal tutors for reading culture. ; The authors would like to thank the students for their participation in the survey. The fundamental values contained in Islamic law are reflected in the formulation of Islamic law itself, namely happiness, enjoyment, benefit, justice, and so on. The online system has the potential to conflict with the values of Islamic law, which is detrimental to many people because of the difficulty of tracking various electronic transactions and it can have a very broad impact when it comes to crimes in the digital world. Based on this reality, several research problems arise related to the ITE Law from the perspective of maqāṣid shari'ah. This article is a library research study using a qualitative paradigm. The results of the discussion show that the emergence of social groups in the name of religion that misuse social media has occurred, one of which is spreading hoax news, updating news, photos, and videos, etc. that deviate from existing norms. The ITE Law is a new thing in the realm of legislation in Indonesia. For that, it is necessary to study further, one of which is in terms of maqāṣid syarī'ah the extent to which the objectives of the law are viewed from Islamic law or qawā'id uluhiyyah. The relevance of maqāṣid syarī'ah with the ITE Law is that there are regulations that guarantee the benefit of the people, namely being able to bring benefits and keep people away from evil deeds by using these cyber tools.

Pulau Penyengat is designated as a leading area for halal tourism development. The development of halal tourism on Pulau Penyengat requires cooperation and support from many parties. The less optimal role of stakeholders in tourism development cooperation makes the reason for the importance of this research being carried out. The purpose of this research is to identify the stakeholders involved, analyze the roles of stakeholders, analyze the relationships between stakeholders, and analyze supporting and inhibiting factors. The method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques combining online interviews, documentation and observations. The results show that the development of the island's halal tourism destinations involves stakeholders with the pentahelix concept, consisting of academics, business, community, government and mass media. There are 38 stakeholders involved and classified into primary, key and secondary stakeholders. The role of stakeholders is reflected in the roles of policy creators, coordinators, facilitators, implementers and accelerators. The relationship between stakeholders is seen from the form and activities. Value and communication are supporting factors in the development of halal tourism destinations, and trust and policies are inhibiting factors. The suggestions conveyed are the issuance of halal tourism regulations, the formation of a special tourism agency for Pulau Penyengat ,increased coordination between stakeholders, increasing the role of academic and community stakeholders, improving halal tourism support facilities, and promoting halal tourism through digital channels.

Studies on media coverage of climate change are mainly diachronic or focused on world climate summits. Here we analyse salience of this phenomenon in the three most widely read daily paid-for newspapers in Spain, El País, El Mundo and ABC, through a content analysis of their online versions during all 2017, when Donald Trump announced his withdrawal from the Paris Agreement. The results show the influence of the ideology of the newspapers on their coverage; the prevalence of political international events and among them the uncontested prominence of Trump, even over world climate summits; and a considerable presence of climate change outside their sections dedicated to the environment. ; Los estudios sobre la cobertura mediática del cambio climático son mayoritariamente diacrónicos o se centran en las cumbres mundiales del clima. Constatamos la influencia de la ideología de los diarios en sus coberturas; la prevalencia de los acontecimientos políticos internacionales en sus agendas y, dentro de ellos, el protagonismo indiscutible de Trump, por encima incluso de las cumbres; y una considerable presencia del cambio climático fuera de las secciones dedicadas al medio ambiente.
