In order to present useful financial report for economic decision making, regulation of accounting standard becomes important. Economic and politic conditions contribute heavily to regulator in creating, improving, and renewing accounting standard in a country. It means that accounting standard is not purely born from theory, but contributed by economic and politic conditions. Accounting standards dominantly derived from theory have failed. The standards have not accepted by business community and politicians or general stakeholders because not in line with their political will. Based on this situation, it would be right to say that accounting standard is a consensus dominantly supported by group interest theory.

Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach, this article investigates 85 articles on economic development collaboration in public administration research, published between 1990 and 2022. Economic development collaboration is the process of interaction among multiple economic development organizations in order to tackle economic development problems that cannot be resolved by single organizations. This systematic review demonstrates seven key aspects of economic development collaboration studies: (1) research questions, (2) collaboration types, (3) empirical designs and methods, (4) antecedents of economic development collaboration, (5) mechanisms of economic collaboration, (6) outcomes of economic development collaboration, and (7) research limitations. Based on these results, this article identifies strengths and weaknesses in economic development collaboration research and concludes with a future research agenda.
In recent years geographic mental maps have made a comeback into the spotlight of scholarly inquiry in the area of Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA). While never disappearing completely from scholarly examination, geographic mental maps were side-lined in most geographic and international relations (IR) research agendas. While geographers had long acknowledged the importance of mental maps in the study of international politics, few studies centred on the influence of geographic cognition on foreign policy. Only with the cognitive revolution in IR did geographic mental maps find space to develop conceptually and empirically with regards to international politics. Beginning with Henrikson's initial conceptualisation over three decades ago the mental map research agenda has adopted several different theoretical and methodological approaches which will be analysed in the current article.

Surgeon General Vivek Murthy was picking up his dry cleaning in Brooklyn when he got a call from the Obama administration asking if he was interested in the job. He wavered at first, but realized it was the perfect blend of his healthcare nonprofit, advocacy and medical practice experiences. He is now on his second stint as America's top doctor under President Biden. Dr. Murthy joined David to talk about his family's immigration story, Covid-19 and his concerns over variants and vaccination rates, gun violence, emotional wellness and loneliness and designing a better post-pandemic future.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a mechanism of governance used in both public and private sectors of the economy, but the AGM has rarely been the focus of research studies. This paper reports an investigation of attendance and procedures at the AGMs of National Health Service (NHS) Trusts. Analysis of the results is informed through the concept of regulatory space. Attendance at trust AGMs is low with, on average, more employees than external stakeholders at the meeting. The absence of any decision‐making authority at trust AGMs is explained by the existence of other mechanisms of governance and control in trusts' regulatory space. The creation of Foundation Trusts, which are intended to have increased local autonomy, will provide new opportunities to examine the role of the AGM as a mechanism of governance in the publicly funded health sector.
