Legal translation is one of the challenging domains for translation students. In Saudi Arabia, university translation students are reported to encounter difficulties while translating legal contracts from English to Arabic and vice versa. Also, the literature shows that translation students use certain strategies to overcome these difficulties. This study attempted to examine the most common challenges/difficulties encountered by Saudi translation students when translating legal contracts and the strategies used by them to overcome such difficulties. In order to achieve these goals, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and used the questionnaire instrument in order to collect the data from the research sample. The population of this research consisted of all Saudi translation students in two Saudi universities, namely King Saud University and Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. The research population are those students who study at the English language department in each university in the fourth year whose number is (106) students. The target sample is (50%) of the research population. So, the sample size is (53) students, being selected randomly. The findings of the study showed that legal binominal expressions and parallel structure, the structure of legal sentences, the multiple negatives, and the legal text layout are the major challenges that encounter Saudi translation students when translating legal contracts. On the other hand, parallel texts, CAT tools, and Google translation have been reported as strategies used by Saudi translation students to overcome the difficulties they face when they translate legal contracts. The results of the study have important implications for translation teachers, translation syllabus designers, universities, and translation students.

AbstractThere is evidence that Intimate Partner Violence and Abuse (IPVA) is more prevalent among military populations compared with civilian populations. However, there has been limited research into the help-seeking experiences of civilian victim-survivors who have experienced IPVA within relationships with military personnel. This qualitative study aimed to explore the experiences of, and barriers to, help-seeking for IPVA victimisation among civilian partners of military personnel in order to identify strategies to improve the management of IPVA both within the military and civilian sectors. The study adopted a descriptive cross-sectional study design and used qualitative research methods. One-to-one telephone interviews were conducted with civilian victim-survivors (n = 25) between January and August 2018. Interview transcripts were analysed using thematic analysis. Three superordinate themes were derived: (1) Drivers to help-seeking; (2) Barriers to help-seeking; and (3) Experiences of services. The findings indicate difficulties in help-seeking for IPVA among civilian partners of military personnel due to stigma, fear, dependency, poor understanding of IPVA, lack of appropriate and timely support, and a perceived lack of victim support. Difficulties in help-seeking were perceived by participants to be amplified by military culture, public perceptions of the military, military protection of personnel and the lack of coordination between civilian and military judicial services. This study reinforces the need for a military specific Domestic Abuse strategy, identifies vulnerable groups and highlights a need for both increased awareness and understanding of IPVA within civilian and military services in order to provide adequate victim protection.

This study investigated the perceived benefits derived from extension agents training programme by farmers participation in community based organizations in Delta State, Nigeria. It described the socio-economic characteristics of the farmers trained through participating in CBO Delta State, examined level of satisfaction derived by the Community Based Organizations farmers from the extension agents training programmes in the area and ascertain the perceived benefits derived by the CBO farmers from participating in extension agents training programmes. Through multi-stage sampling technique, a sample size of 111 was got and used for the study. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were respectively used to analyze the objectives and hypotheses of the study. Results revealed that respondents mean age, household size, farm size, farm experience and farm income was 45.27 years, 6 persons, 2.75 ha. 10.26 years and N328,378.38 respectively. Majority (82.88%) of the respondents were satisfied with the extension agents training programme and this was attributed to the numerous benefits obtained from the training programme and this was in spite of the different challenges plaguing CBO farmers participation in the training programmes. Results also revealed that respondents' socio-economic characteristics like sex, age, educational level, farm size, farm experience and farm income were significantly related to CBO farmers level of satisfaction derived from participation in extension agents training programmes. Based on results the study suggest that, government should try to employ more extension agents into the Agricultural Institutions and Ministries so that the number of extension agents to farmers' ratio can be reduced and that there is also the need for the extension agents to be provided with training equipment and materials to be used for demonstration during training programmes.

Despite the government commitment to the implementation of admission policies like targeting enrolment of 50% of all students in science and technology related courses through placement of students into these programmes and significantly expanding them, only 29% of students were studying a course in Science and Technology by the year 2016. Such scenario implies that the country is seriously lagging behind in the realization of Kenya Education Sector Support Programme (KESSP I) participation target of 50%. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of physical facilities on students' participation in these Programmes. The study employed descriptive survey design. Purposive sampling and simple random techniques were employed to select respondents. Questionnaires, interview schedules and structured observation schedules were utilized to collect data. Qualitative data was analysed thematically and reported in form of tables, quotations and narrations while quantitative data was analysed by use of frequencies, percentages, means, pie charts and bar graphs. It was established that inadequacy of physical facilities stood at 74%. The study concludes that Universities were experiencing acute shortage of facilities to the extent that they had not reached the minimum acceptable level. Practical elements in curriculum were extremely undermined and the curriculum was highly deficient, out-dated and irrelevant with little coordination between its designs and industries. Students were majorly grounded in theory at the expense of practical industrial training and transmission pedagogy dominated lecture halls, making learning largely passive. It recommends that Universities should formulate, adopt and implement University Industry Partnership and Placement (UIPP) policy to recognize the Universities' science and technology study programmes as part of the industry chains.

The content of the amendment that proposed is to minimize the use of crude palm oil in Europe, while Europe is also the biggest imported of Indonesia crude palm oil.Objective - This study aims to determine wether there is the difference on abnormal return before and after the proposed Delegated Act, European Parliament vote of proposed Delegated Act and European Council, Commission and Parliament meetings for proposed Delegated Act.Design/Methodology/Approach - The data used is historical stock price for listed company of Agriculture Sector and Plantation Sub Sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 23th November-7th December 2016, 10th-24th January 2018 and 4th-26th June 2018 from investing.com. The assay used in this study is statistic descriptive test, then normality test and then paired sample t-test and/or wilcoxon signed rank test.Findings - The result of this study indicates there is no difference on abnormal return in all event. That no differencehappensbecause the event contains no information, also the investor believed more in company performance and some information is expired when stock market is open.Research implications - Research contributes to providing additional information on the impact of the revised Renewable Energy Directive on share prices in energy-producing plantation companies.Research limitations - This study has limitations, namely the trilogy meeting event intersects with the holiday and the Indonesia Stock Exchange holiday, thus creating a conflict of events whether this is the impact of the fitri holiday or because of the trilogy meeting event.

This study aims to analyze the urgency, art, and essence of the new halal logo design issued by the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) after the enactment of Law Number 33 of 2014 and Government Regulation Number 39 of 2021 concerning the transfer of authority for administering halal certification from LPPOM of Indonesian Council of Ulama to the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH). BPJPH's Halal Logo Design reaps the pros and cons of the Muslim community in Indonesia, both in terms of Arabic writing, the shape of the halal logo that resembles a puppet, and the urgency of a total change from the halal logo of the Indonesian Council of Ulama. This research is interesting to study because the halal logo design is a sign of halal certification of a product and is a halal guarantee for Muslim consumers in Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a normative juridical approach because it discusses regulations related to guaranteeing halal products in Indonesia both in terms of urgency, art, and essence. This study describes that the total change of the halal logo is not urgent to improve the quality of halal product assurance services in Indonesia. BPJPH's halal logo design puts more emphasis on art than Halal writing in Arabic as a sign that the product is "Halal" so it is difficult to read as a "Halal" sign. The essence of the halal logo is as a sign that the product has been certified halal by BPJPH so that the certainty of halal writing is more considered. Keywords: logo, halal, BPJPH, urgency

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the result of the decisions addressed in preventing and combating money laundering by Romania, together with the other member states of the European Union, following the regulations changes in the field. Against the background of technological developments and new threats, regulators have developed rules and procedures to prevent the exploitation of the financial system for the purpose of money laundering, with clear deadlines for transposition into national law. In order to determine the impact of the joint effort in the fight against money laundering, we analyzed the annual reports of European Financial Intelligence Units for 2018 and 2019 and the reports for the last ten years (2011-2020) of the National Office for Preventing and Combating Money Laundering in Romania. Based on the data from these reports, the study presents trends by using, inter alia, descriptive statistics. The results of our study draw attention to the increase in the number of reports of suspicious transactions, the number of cases sent for investigation to the competent authorities, the number of requests for information or dissemination of information to foreign FIUs, the volume of suspended transactions and amounts seized or confiscated by authorities. Although European Union Member States have responded to the obligation to transpose European directives, further steps are needed to create a common framework for action and reporting, so that the combined efforts have real results in line with the expectations of the European institutions. Through the results presented, the study supports governmental and non-governmental entities, highlighting the areas that need immediate attention.

To build the city of Mataram which is advanced in all aspects. This study uses a qualitative methodology. Bogdan and Taylor in Moleong (2007: 4) define qualitative research methodology as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. Meanwhile, Kirk and Miller in Moleong (2007) define qualitative research as a particular tradition in social science that is fundamentally dependent on human observations both in its area and in its terminology. This study aims to find out what the semiotics of communication are contained in the Motto "Maju Mataram City is Advanced, Religious and Cultured". The difference between the previous research and what the researcher is going to do is that the previous research examined "semiotic analysis of communication in other sentences, while this study examines the meaning of semiotics in the motto of Mataram city, namely "Maju Kota Maju, Religious, and Cultured".

This study investigated the relationship between senior secondary two students' questioning behaviour and their achievement in Biology in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. The research design was partly an ethnographic research design through observation and narrative survey. The study also incorporated a correlational research design in which the correlation coefficient was computed to determine the relationship between the variables. The population of the study comprised all the fifteen (15) senior secondary schools in Barkin Ladi. A sample of two senior secondary schools out of fifteen senior secondary schools was selected using purposive sampling technique. Blooms' category system was used to transcribe students' questions. The research instruments were observation using Audiotape recorder and Biology Achievement Test (BAT). The audiotape recorded students' questions were coded by two science education specialist in University of Jos while the test items were also scrutinized by two biology teachers at the secondary school level. The reliability of the BAT was determined using splithalf method and it yielded 0.80. The research questions were answered using descriptive statistics while Pearson Product Moment Correlation was used in testing the Null hypothesis at 0.05 level of significant. The findings indicated that a high positive linear relationship exists between the raw number of students' questions and their achievement scores in Biology. The findings equally showed that students asked mostly low level questions and the types of questions that students ask during biology lesson does not depend on gender. Consequently, the study recommended among other things, the training and retraining of teachers as well as students on how to ask thought provoking questions to facilitate students' performance, teaching and learning of Biology in Senior Secondary schools.

OBJECTIVE: The Indian pharmaceutical market is flooded with different fixed drug combinations (FDCs), many of which lack a rational justification. The study aimed to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) regarding FDCs among the physicians of a tertiary-care teaching center METHOD: The target sample size for this cross-sectional study was calculated as 75, and the study was conducted between February and August 2020 by using a content-validated questionnaire. Descriptive statistics had been utilized for data analysis, and Chi-square test had been applied for intergroup comparison (with P < 0.05 considered to be significant) RESULTS: The mean age of the physicians who participated in this survey was 33.2 years. While 44% of them could identify all the potential advantages of using FDCs, only 09% could correctly recognize all the disadvantages associated with the same. Among the list of rational and irrational FDCs, only 49% could single out the irrational ones. And though the majority (83%) of the respondents do check for the rationality of FDCs before prescribing them, still out of 25 most commonly prescribed FDCs, 16 lacked any scientific justification for combination, and 09 (out of 16) had been banned by the Government of India CONCLUSION: The outcome of this cross-sectional questionnaire-based study reflects the deficit in the knowledge regarding FDCs, as well as incoherence among the knowledge, attitude, and prescription practice. Though the physicians have cultivated a healthy attitude towards prescribing FDCs, the same is not reflected in their practice. In order to rectify these disparities, the authors have proposed certain recommendations within this article.

This study discusses the political marketing innovation of the Mahyeldi-Audy couple in the face of the 2020 West Sumatra Provincial Election during the Covid-19 period. The victory obtained by the Mahyeldi-Audy couple is a manifestation of the success of political marketing that has been carried out. This study aims to describe and analyze the political marketing strategy of the Mahyeldi-Audy pair in the 2020 West Sumatra gubernatorial election contestation. In researching the author, the author uses the theoretical framework of Niffenegger's 4P political marketing and Adman Nursal's 3P. This research is in the form of a qualitative descriptive. To obtain the data, it was obtained through in-depth interviews with the informants and coupled with a literature study which was then analyzed using theory. The results of this study indicate that the Mahyeldi-Audy pair runs a 4P marketing mix (product, promotion, place, and price). Strong political products can be seen from the figures, candidate backgrounds, vision and mission and work programs that are in accordance with the needs of the community. Effective promotions by both Mahyeldi-Audy and the winning team using push, pass, and pull marketing methods. The use of minimal material resources but with maximum results. Placement, mapping and segmenting voters as well as creating a good image and being able to place oneself at every level of society. The success of the Mahyeldi-Audy pair in winning the 2020 West Sumatra gubernatorial election was due to being able to design and execute a structured, creative and innovative political marketing strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regional or local economic development is a process of involvement of local governments and elements of society in jointly managing local resources or potentials with the aim of creating new jobs that can stimulate economic and community growth as well as alleviating people in poverty. One of the efforts to overcome these problems is the "Bela-Beli Kulon Progo" program. This study has a purpose, namely to determine the implementation of the "Bela-Beli Kulon Progo" program for the people in the Kulon Progo area. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by using survey research. The use of this method is in accordance with the purpose of this study, which is to describe the implementation of the "Bela-Beli Kulon Progo" program for the community in the Kulon Progo area. The results of the study use two perspectives, namely the perspective of the community who are members of the "Bela-Beli Kulon Progo" Program and the perspective of stakeholders in the "Bela-Beli Kulon Progo" Program with the results obtained on the economy and community participation in the "Bela-Beli Kulon Progo" Program. directly and indirectly felt by the people of Kulon Progo Regency through employment, increasing income, increasing quality and productivity, as well as high enthusiasm and participation in the program. Other results through the role of local governments through related agencies obtained very good and efficient results through the provision of counseling, assistance, supervision, and always innovating in the "Bela-Beli Kulon Progo" Program which was felt directly and indirectly by the people of Kulon Progo Regency.

This study aims to determine the level of understanding of taxation of taxpayers, especially UMKM entrepreneurs and also to see the level of understanding of UMKM entrepreneurs taxpayers regarding the tax provisions in PP no. 46 of 2013 and the amendments to PP No. 23 of 2018 from the government. The respondents of this study were the taxpayers of UMKM entrepreneurs in Pekanbaru City as many as 30 registered UMKM entrepreneurs. This study uses a descriptive approach, namely by analyzing MSME taxpayers against government regulations on tax rates. The data used is through direct interviews with MSME taxpayers. The results of this study are, many UMKM entrepreneurs do not have an understanding of taxation, there is still a lack of awareness related to taxation and the lack of socialization obtained by UMKM entrepreneurs. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman perpajakan dari wajib pajak khususnya pelaku UMKM dan juga untuk melihat tingkat pemahaman wajib pajak UMKM terkait adanya ketentuan perpajakan dalam PP No. 46 tahun 2013 dan perubahannya PP No. 23 tahun 2018 dari pemerintah. responden dari penelitian ini adalah para wajib pajak pelaku UMKM yang ada di Kota Pekanbaru sebanyak 30 pelaku UMKM yang terdaftar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Deskriptif, yaitu dengan cara menganalisis wajib pajak pelaku UMKM terhadap peraturan pemerintah tentang tarif pajak. Data yang digunakan melalui wawancara langsung kepada wajib pajak pelaku UMKM. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu, banyaknya pelaku UMKM tidak memiliki pemahaman terkait perpajkan, masih kurangnya kesadaran terkait perpajakan dan kurangnya sosialisasi yang didapatkan oleh para pelaku UMKM.

In the military justice system, the regulation of investigative institutions, especially investigators on superiors with the right to punish (Ankum in the Military Court law, is not in accordance with the principle of professionalism because Ankum does not have investigative expertise and does not have functions related to judicial power. Therefore, the existence of investigators Superiors who have the right to punish will not guarantee due process law and cannot provide values of justice. The purpose of this study was to analyze the professionalism of investigators' authority in the military justice system in Indonesia. This study uses a constructivist paradigm and is a non-doctrinal type of research, with method of socio-legal research approach. This research is descriptive analytical, which is expected to be able to provide a detailed, systematic and comprehensive description of the object under study. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, namely data obtained from through interviews and from library materials collected through literature studies which were then analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that: First, Ankum was made an investigator of subordinates under his command authority, as a derivative of the principle of unity of command, and the principle of the commander in charge full responsibility to the unit and its subordinates, so that in the event that his subordinates commit a crime, Ankum can determine the fate of his subordinates. Ankum as an investigator has a legal gab, meaning that Ankum attributively in the law has the authority to investigate, but in fact Ankum cannot conduct an investigation and has never been sworn in as an investigator.
