The study will aim to investigate and deepen the political communication and message, that is published and is being send to the reader through editorial in ''Koha Jonë' newspaper from February to March 1997. Important goal will be exploring for the role of media in political communication ideas send to the public, knowing the impact that this newspaper had in albanian public. I will finalize a detailed analysis of this kind of journalistic article, also associated with stylistics analysis, tone analysis, ect. I will tend to bring the editorial role as a catalyst role in political developments, because that is the main hypothesis of the paper. Besides analyzing the message (editorial) I aim to make a analysis of the author of the message (the publisher, newspaper director or editor) and connectivity with them, as being a political communicator, taking the role of a ''political party ''. For this analysis I will be focused on political communication theories, in addition of monitoring the daily editorial of this period. Newspaper 'Koha Jone'' in 1997, is developed in the latest blooming period of linear media in Albania, the place that is been taken from new media.

The prevalence of the products of biotechnology in Canada's canola industry is vast. More than 95% of Canada's seeded area is in herbicide-tolerant (HT) varieties, which are products of biotechnology. Overall, the industry has experienced significant growth; for instance, the area seeded to canola varieties has increased from less than one million hectares (ha) in the 1960s to over 8 million today (Statistics Canada, n.d.). Later in the article we show that the number of commercial varieties available and the index of yields for those varieties have increased sharply since the 1980s (Brewin & Malla, 2012; Phillips, 2001). Agricultural biotechnology could facilitate further productivity growth in crops such as canola. However, the policies and regulations that are in place might need to further evolve to insure continuing growth in the sector. Furthermore, assessing the benefits to Canadian producers by adopting HT and hybrid varieties over time would improve our understanding of the sector and the gains that are possible under comparable regulations for similar sectors. A significant portion of these benefits were facilitated by changing the institutions in Canada to provide incentives to private investment.

Russia has only recently faced the problem of wearing hijabs in educational organizations within the last three years, while in Western Europe the debate on this issue has not subsided for several decades. Due to the fact that the common position has not been worked out, it seems important to examine the compliance of the ban on wearing Islamic headscarves in educational institutions with international instruments enshrining the right to education and freedom of conscience and religion, to analyze the position of the Russian Federation through the example of specific legal measures undertaken to solve the situation within the Stavropol region and the latest document published by the Interreligious Council of Russia (issued on March 26, 2015), as well as to analyze the opinion of the European Court of Human Rights stated in the case "Leyla Sahin against Turkey" (2005). A separate issue on the topic concerns the proportionality of the rules on hijabs in their application to and their effect on local and migrant populations of certain states. The article discusses issues related to the integration of Eastern European countries into the supranational science & and technology area of the European Union (EU). In particular, the article investigates the experience of Poland and Hungary, two countries with similar backgrounds, in their reform of science, technology and education (STE) for subsequent entry into the EU and the integration of the national STE systems into the European Union structures. The chronological framework covers a ten year period (2004–2014), which starts from the accession of Poland and Hungary in to the European Union (early 2004) and ends on with the current state of STE in those countries (late 2014). The article describes the main stages of reforms in STE in these two countries during this period, estimated their results, as well as provides a comparison of the present state of affairs in science and education. The inal part of the article summarizes the comparisons, pointing out that Poland and Hungary, despite having similar socio-economic background, choose two different strategies to develop the national STE system.

Australia has never had a great deceased organ donor rate – and it fell last year. But proposed guidelines from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) could change how donor organs are obtained and allocated for the better. DonateLife Australia, the government body responsible for organ donation and transplantation, has just announced there were 16.1 deceased organ donors per million people in Australia in 2014. This represents a 5% decline from 2013 and maintains Australia's deceased organ donor rate in the bottom half of OECD countries. It's important to note, though, that the 2013 rate was the highest ever recorded. More people in this country die waiting for organ transplants than in many other developed countries, but it's not all bad news: Australia has a long and successful history in organ transplantation. Outcomes following organ transplantation are world leading – more than 90% of patients who receive a kidney, heart, heart-lung or liver transplant are alive a year later. And more than 90% of people who receive a transplant have normal function of their new organ. The number of organs retrieved from each deceased donor is also higher than in many countries.

Freight forwarders play a key role in moving goods across international borders. They arrange transport, oversee customs clearance on behalf of their clients, and more generally troubleshoot issues that arise while goods are in transit. This paper reports the results from a survey of 153 freight forwarding firms in Serbia. Respondents report on firm characteristics, operational choices, and conditions at the border posts and terminals where imported goods are cleared for release. One key purpose of the study is to investigate operational trade-offs between time and cost that arise when import shipments are in transit. In three of four hypotheticals, respondents suggest that money savings dominate time savings. Responses regarding real operational decisions such as route choices reinforce this finding. Respondents also reported penalty rates for late delivery of import shipments as well as the value of a typical import shipment. From these responses, it is estimated that the contracted value of one additional (unexpected) day of delivery time in Serbia appears to be approximately 1 percent of the value of the underlying shipment.

The expression "Reason of State" belongs to the language and the political culture of the late Renaissance period. Still today this expression is commonly used to mean recourse to force or, to exceptional instruments on the part of a subject holding political power who acts out of the need to keep personal command and to guarantee law and order within society. Raison d'État, Ragion di Stato, Razon de Estado, Staatsräson: from the end of the sixteenth century onwards, the various European languages translate this expression, with the intention of applying the meanings which it contains to the particular regional situations. The article presents the reasons and the relevance of a series of studies published between the '80s and the '90s that marked a new sensibility toward Reason of State, diverging from the classic definition by Friedrich Meinecke of Ration status as machtsstaat. The apparent crisis of democratic societies and the changing role of the State in the post '89 global order are two of the main feature of a historiographical and intellectual effort to understand the politics of globalization.

In the mid to late 1950s, Italians experienced an improvement in quality of life thanks to an economic boom. During these years, advertising presented not only consumer goods, but also the convictions of the producers, who were buying visibility in an attempt to generate adequate revenue for their economic efforts. The country, however, had to shoulder the considerable economic gap between the prosperous North and the relatively undeveloped Southern regions. A comparative analysis of all the advertisements published during the first semester of 1958 and 1959 in two regional newspapers, Il Resto del Carlino (Bologna) and La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno (Bari), reveals, in terms of number, size and distribution, some of the economic dynamics affecting the two areas. Because it is impossible to reveal the underlying decision-making process of the companies placing the ads without an examination of economic reports and the minutes of board meetings of the companies, the research emphasis is instead on rates of investment in print advertising in the two newspapers. Future studies of sample periods before and after the Italian boom years might provide for a better diachronic analysis.

This keynote offers an historical contribution towards two of the questions being asked at Performing Resistance symposium: 'How can art and academic work produce political resistance? How can a traditional separation between inside/outside, thinking/doing and art/activism be prevented?' I will draw on the example of the 'alternative' printshops set up to support and 'perform resistance' between the late 1960s and early 1980s. Many of those involved had been to art school, but renounced the title of artist and its circuits. This phenomenon mostly collapsed by the mid 1990s for reasons economic, social, political and of course new technological means. In recent years, partly inspired by the radical print culture that flowered in the 1960s and 70s, there has been a sort of revival; from newspapers (e.g. Occupied Times and STRIKE!) to pamphlets and screen-printing set ups at protest events. Much of this resurgence has been artist and designer led, especially those interested in 'socially engaged practice'. My presentation will discuss this earlier history and the current revival in relation to it.

This article focuses on workplace mediation and, in particular, how mediators conceptualise success and whether the disputing parties share their mediator's view as to whether or not a dispute has been successfully resolved. Based on a case study of mediations by the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (Acas), the article finds that success for many mediators is obtaining an agreement, written and/or verbal, that mediators mainly do not seek to find out later what actually transpired, and that disputing parties' views are less positive than those of their mediator. The article concludes that, in place of absolute measures of success, none of which are problem free, a more nuanced criterion should be adopted: mediators should judge success relative to what they are trying to do, whether to contain/manage the dispute, or to settle the overt conflict, or to resolve the root causes. Moreover, their judgements should be made in the context of the tractability of the dispute, the parties' commitment to mediation, the commissioner's objectives, and evaluations by the parties and the commissioner, both immediately after the mediation, and after an elapse of time.

The Swedish government decided in 2012 that the importance of biodiversity and the value of ecosystem services should be integrated in planning and other decision processes latest in 2018. However, it is not self-evident how to implement the importance of biodiversity and the value of ecosystem services in spatial planning practice. The aim of this report is to explore how far Swedish municipalities have progressed regarding the integration of ecosystem services in urban spatial planning and what can be learnt from the efforts so far. The data for this progress re-port was gathered by means of a telephone survey. The results show that the integration of ecosystem services is in an early stage in Swedish planning practice. However, the lack of practical experiences makes many planners hesitant to get started. The overall picture is that most planners seem to regard it as a technical issue that can be solved by experts and assessment/ planning tools. For future spatial planning practice it is recommended that value of ecosystem services should be negotiated instead of assessed by experts.

Standing at the apogee of post-Protestant theological liberalism, the scholarly Unitarian minister Ramsden Balmforth, who served the Unitarian Church in Cape Town from 1897 until 1937, responded to a broad spectrum of issues affecting South African religious, political and economic life. Having been moulded by Fabian socialism in his native Yorkshire, however, and informed by the theology of such denominational fellows as Joseph Estlin Carpenter during his student years in Oxford, he remained relatively marginalised on the ecclesiastical landscape of South Africa. Despite this quasi-isolation, Balmforth sought in the late 1920s to predict the future of Christianity or religious life generally not only in his adopted homeland, but also on an international scale. In the present article his conceptualisation is analysed in the historical context of his theological liberalism generally, and a critique of his prognostications is offered which highlights Balmforth's failure to come to grips with the fact that his liberalism, which he regarded as a virtually inevitable product of cultural history, had failed to make nearly any inroads on the increasingly complex kaleidoscope of South African Christianity.

This article studies the role of parliament and parliamentarians in Afghanistan with a particular focus on women during the Constitutional Period 1964-1973, the Soviet occupation in the 1980s and the re-establishment of the parliamentary system a few years after the United States toppled the Taliban regime in late 2001 and installed Hamid Karzai as head of the new government. It examines how elements of Afghanistan's political landscape contributed to radicalization of the country's politics and the subsequent mobilization of women as they joined political organizations to advance the cause of women.After the parliamentary elections in 2005 women made concerted efforts todefine their role in the political arena. After securing seats in the parliamentfemale representatives, particularly those with radical political orientations, became even more assertive not only in expressing their views on gender issues but also in challenging the regressive views of their male counterparts during the legislative processes.The role of women in the male-dominated parliament and how they havedealt with traditional cultural and political hurdles as well as vocal oppositionand public insults from their male counterparts in parliamentary debates on sociopolitical and economic issues is the focus of this study.

The feminization of migration is a human mobility process that responds to several social, economic and even political situations that have taken place worldwide. Regarding the case of Ecuador female migration wave to Europe was primarily the result of a critical period that the country faced in the late nineties. The article explores the circumstances that produced such migration; we also analyze gender roles of men and women in their country of origin and destination as well as transnational motherhood. ; La feminización de la migración es un proceso de movilidad humana que responde a muchas situaciones sociales, económicas e incluso políticas que han tenido lugar a nivel mundial. Este artículo trata sobre el caso particular del Ecuador, donde la ola migratoria femenina principalmente hacia Europa fue consecuencia de una época crítica que atravesó el país a finales de los años noventa. A continuación, exploramos las circunstancias que produjeron dicho fenómeno migratorio; también analizamos los roles de género de hombres y mujeres en los países de origen y de destino y la maternidad transnacional.

More than 20 years in Poland we can observe a process of economic transformation to i.a. development of entrepreneurial attitudes in society. One of the instruments in support of entrepreneurship in rural areas is the measure 312 creation and development of micro enterprises under the Rural Development Programme in Poland for the years 2007-2013. The author, based on the carried out studies, analyzes the impact of the mentioned financial instrument on companies functioning and examines the hypothesis, which states that complicated and confusing regulations and procedures constituted an impediment to the receipt of funding under the described the measure 312 creation and development of micro enterprises. ; Od ponad 20 lat w Polsce obserwuje się proces transformacji gospodarczej, służący m.in. rozwojowi postaw przedsiębiorczych w społeczeństwie. Autorka, na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań, analizuje wpływ przedmiotowego instrumentu finansowego na przedsiębiorstwa oraz bada hipotezę, mówiącą że skomplikowane lub niezrozumiałe przepisy prawne oraz procedury stanowiły utrudnieniew otrzymaniu dofinansowania w ramach opisywanego działania.
