The health emergency caused by COVID 19 has created a complex context from the health point of view, but also from a social, economic and political perspective, which has led to an uncertain situation regarding the future Before COVID 19 companies were focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals During this situation we have seen how some of these goals improve ( while others worsen in societies where many of them were already surpassed It is disturbing to see the increase in the economic, salary and gender gap, the entrepreneurship problems, the loss of rights and liberties as well as the lack of respect to the elderly This situation made us think whether the institutions and companies were being responsible given the circumstances or not, if they were behaving in an ethical manner, and if their behavior during confinement was going to generate changes in the citizens' habits Therefore, we asked ourselves, are companies doing what they should? Are they legitimate? Are they adapting to this reality and helping the population? In this study, we present the responses to the questions regarding the relationship between companies and Covid 19 responsible behavior, impact on our future consumption habits, our government and the legitimacy of companies during the confinement in Peru

Throughout its history, but also squeezed between the current challenges of globalisation and sovereignty, the Balkans has been confronted with a number of different political, economic, environmental, and cultural problems. Such a complex social framework inevitably implies spatial degradation, not only in terms of the urban forms as the final planning product, but also in terms of the nature of the planning process and urban governance. Notably, we assume that territorial capital in the Balkans is under serious threat due to the abuse of legal procedures, the neglect of the public interest and the politicisation of planning. To elucidate this, we focus on the megaprojects Belgrade Waterfront (Belgrade) and Hellinikon (Athens) as examples of urban development that require exceptional conditions such as special regulations, additional funding, long-term timeframes, and ad hoc actor networks. Against the conceptual background of multi-level governance and based on in-depth case studies, we examine the nature of vertical cooperation between authorities at different levels (from supranational to local), horizontal cooperation amongst different stakeholders, and the role of planning professionals who are seen as facilitators in this process. Finally, we point out to the most important conditions that enable a democratic social, political and professional framework for urban megaprojects.

Decision 1082/2013 on Serious Cross-border Health Threats (Health Threats Decision) was adopted in 2013 with the aim of preparing for and responding to serious health threats. In this legislation, the European Union adopts an "all-hazards" approach which strongly relies on the exchange of information as a driver of regulatory activities. This article first demonstrates that the electronic systems of information exchange constitute a key tool in EU Health Crisis and Disaster Management ("EHCDM"). Second, it identifies the distinctive features of these mechanisms in the EU context: the reinforcement of a statutory policy shift towards securitisation of public health, the peculiarity of the EU composite administrative procedures as well as the facilitation of the quality of the sense-making activities. Finally, the article uncovers the possible problems which may affect the adequate functioning of EHCDM and argues the routes for further research. The piece links legal analysis with the interdisciplinary conceptual lens to offer an important contribution to closer characterisation of the EHCDM as a field in its own right together with a better understanding of the EU public health law and administration in the context of transboundary crisis management and health security governance.

The study assessed the awareness and compliance of the Universal Basic Education Act on school enrolment in the primary section of Barki Ladi local government area of Plateau state. The study was instigated by prevalence of problems in the educational sector, especially in the areas of pupils' enrolment and poor awareness policy, inter-alia. The specific purpose was to assess the awareness of UBE Acts among stakeholders in the local government and also assess the compliance of UBE Acts on pupils enrolment in Barki Ladi Local Government. The research was guided by four research questions. The study adopted descriptive research and survey research methods. The population of 188 respondents in Universal basic schools in Barki ladi local government area was used for the research. Data were collected with the administration of questionnaire and records of pupils' enrolments. Using the descriptive statistical tools, the study revealed that the level of awareness of UBE Acts among stakeholders has improved, and that there was improvement in the enrolment of pupils in the local government under the UBE Acts. The research recommended that there should be UBE awareness and enrolment campaign related to that of the national immunization programme, general election dates and national census in the country.

In this paper, we extend the concept of MINI element over triangles to star convex arbitrary polytopes. This is achieved by employing the volume averaged nodal projection (VANP) method over polytopes in combination with the strain smoothing technique. Within this framework, the dilatation strain is projected onto the linear approximation space, thus resulting in a purely displacement based formulation. The stability is ensured by enhancing the displacement field with bubble basis functions. The salient features of the proposed method are two fold: the VANP alleviates the locking phenomenon and the strain smoothing suppresses the need to compute the derivative of the basis functions, thus reducing the computational burden. Solutions to global sustainability challenges are increasingly technology‐intensive. Yet, technologies are neither developed nor applied to governance problems in a socio‐political vacuum. Despite aspirations to provide novel solutions to current sustainability governance challenges, many technology‐centred projects, pilots and plans remain implicated in longer‐standing global governance trends shaping the possibilities for success in often under‐recognized ways. This article identifies three overlapping contexts within which technology‐led efforts to address sustainability challenges are evolving, highlighting the growing roles of: (1) private actors; (2) experimentalism; and (3) informality. The confluence of these interconnected trends illuminates an important yet often under‐recognized paradox: that the use of technology in multi‐stakeholder initiatives tends to reduce rather than expand the set of actors, enhancing instead of reducing challenges to participation and transparency, and reinforcing rather than transforming existing forms of power relations. Without recognizing and attempting to address these limits, technology‐led multi‐stakeholder initiatives will remain less effective in addressing the complexity and uncertainty surrounding global sustainability governance. We provide pathways for interrogating the ways that novel technologies are being harnessed to address long‐standing global sustainability issues in manners that foreground key ethical, social and political considerations and the contexts in which they are evolving.

The present paper starts from the analysis of the nature of bureaucracy and its relationship with politics in Max Weber´s thought. The main objective is to analyze which is the place that the ECB occupies in the constitutional structure of the European Union. Therefore, what are the main principles that inform its action, the impact of its decisions, the limits to its power, the control mechanisms as deployed to keep it in check. Finally, I come back to Weber´s analysis with a view to show problems and suggest recommendations that could overcome the democratic legitimacy shortcomings of European decision-making on economic matters based on the design of the EMU ; El trabajo parte del análisis de la naturaleza de la burocracia y de su relación con la política en el pensamiento de Max Weber, para analizar posteriormente cuál es la posición que tiene el Banco Central Europeo en la Unión Europea, qué poderes le están conferidos, qué impacto tienen sus decisiones y qué límites y controles existen sobre él. En las conclusiones se vuelve al pensamiento weberiano para ahondar en recomendaciones que pudieran superar los graves problemas democráticos provenientes del diseño de la Unión Económica y Monetaria.

The administration of village government entered a new era after the enactment of Law No. 6 of 2014 was legally enforced. Previously, under the regional government, the village was only an object of development, but now it becomes the subject that have its authority to manage the village independently. As a consequence, the village government must have its ability to prepare its own planning and budget documents based on the aspirations of the village community through the Village Community Development Forum. The performance of the financial management of the village will determine the success or failure of the village government in running the administration and development. The financial problems often occur because of the inability of the village apparatus in the management or utilization of the village funds even though they have an important role in it. The presence and assistance of such facilitators are seriously needed to improve the village fund management so that it can be professionally, legally and publicly accountable. Improving the professionality of the village apparatus in the financilal management of the village fund is mainly related to increasing the knowledge and skills in the field of law and financial administration.

To decompose plastic waste itself, it takes approximately 80 years to completely degrade. Currently the government is increasingly active in providing awareness to the public to reduce the use of plastics in life, then providing teaching on how to treat plastic waste into goods that are beneficial to life. Participatory action research has three word elements, all of which have a connection between Participation, Action and Research. In the process of carrying out social change for the better, it must involve all levels of society who are the object or target as well as the subject where the social change must be carried out. utilization of organic waste which can be used as various kinds of valuable creativity and has a selling price that can improve the community's economy, and also make the environment clean and healthy. Making society in a harmonious and peaceful environment. There won't be any problems. The village will be safe and secure.

The pandemic in Indonesia requires a moving from offline learning to online learning to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, that practice facing some problem like the increment households spending for internet access, and inequality access technology. As a form of accountability and responsibility for these problems, the Indonesian government by the Ministry of Education and Culture made a policy of subsidizing internet quota for all teachers, students, and lecturers for four months. This subsidy was made to support distance learning during the pandemic. This article aims to examine the implementation of the internet quota subsidy policy. The literature review method is carried out by looking at previous research related to aid/subsidies policies during the crisis, policy implementation, and internet quota subsidy in Indonesia. The sources were collected from articles, reports, and mass media. The results show that looking at the output and the initiation, this policy has been running quite well as part of the government's agility response. However, this policy was not effective enough to support distance learning during the pandemic as a whole in Indonesia. Several findings indicate there is inequality of internet access in some outlying areas where the benefits of this policy cannot be felt.

Outlining the problems faced by language learners in the Educational scenario is one key aspect that requires immediate attention in the present era and innumerable studies have indicated that success or failure of students in education is directly or indirectly related to language learning. Ideologically, the different social, political, economic and linguistic aspects individually and collectively played an important role in shaping the quantity and quality of the educational system. However, as a medium of informational exchange between students and teachers, language enters the most vital tool that directly or indirectly influences quality education. The concern therefore attempts an empirical study on students learning English as a second/third language; the socio-psychology of learning English language and the role of attitude and motivation towards language learning vis-à-vis the teaching-learning experiences in the classroom setting. The corpus of the study is elicited from four institutions in Shillong viz. St. Edmunds in Laitumkhrah, St. George in Nongmynsong, Government Boys in Jaiaw and Church of God in Mawlai. The findings in this study will perhaps throw light on the importance of language learning in the educational scenario and how successful language learning underscores better teaching-learning processes and hence quality education. The new model of developing electronic democracy through e-democracy makes local democracy very dynamic. The level of public trust in radio is very high with an indicator of the number of community members who voluntarily inform all incidents in Blitar City and Regency. This new concept in the framework of radio journalism is referred to as citizen journalism. This study intends to develop a tripartite model of local democracy between the information giver (complainant), the handling agency (the agency complained) and the media (radio) as a bridge in solving the problem. So far the research method used is using qualitative methods with emphasis on participatory aspects. Radio owners, program directors, reporters and listeners who complain are the core informants in this study. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling using data or source triangulation and theory triangulation as a test tool. The results of this study are in the form of the city langlang program as a forum for public discussion on air in the form of complainants reporting their problems to the radio through sms, telephone, e-mail and social media. The model developed is not only on air but also off water, so that complainants can communicate with related parties via the Mayangkara FM radio bridge.

In the late 15th century and early 16th century, Castilian financial development was a widespread phenomenon in which a large part of the Castilian population took part. Both legislators and moralising theorists endeavoured to guide the expansion of credit through the development of a legal and ethical framework as a point of reference for a desired behaviour. Nevertheless, problems arising from unpaid loans and credit sales and the consequent debt litigation developed into a conflict that, in many cases, could be channelled thanks to the action of new and reformed Castilian institutions. ; El desarrollo financiero castellano a fines del siglo XV e inicios del XVI fue un fenómeno extendido del que pudieron participar gran parte de los castellanos. Tanto legisladores como teóricos moralistas trataron de orientar la expansión del crédito a través del desarrollo de un marco legal y ético que ejerció como referente de una conducta deseada. No obstante, los problemas derivados del impago de muchos préstamos o ventas al fiado y el consiguiente pleito por deudas llegaron a suponer un conflicto que, en muchos casos, pudo ser encauzado gracias a la acción de las nuevas y reformadas instituciones castellanas.

This article discusses four things: 1) the challenges of Islamic education, 2) the problems of education in Indonesia, 3) the socio-historical Islamic education in Indonesia, and 4) managing the superiority of Islamic education in the future. This research is descriptive qualitative with conceptual analysis method. Data collected through library documentation are then processed and analyzed using content analysis method. The results of the study show that the main challenges of Islamic education are the dichotomy of science and the dualism of education that influence the orientation and epistemology of Islamic education. The main problem of education in Indonesia is the purpose of education is not optimally supported by other educational factors, while the morale of the nation's children has degraded with increasingly complex delinquency. Socio-historically, the socio-religious interaction of the community can form a distinctive educational tradition by combining Islamic (religious) and national (cultural) values without ignoring the development of the times. The future of Islamic education is largely determined by the awareness, sincerity, and power of the jihad of its educators, as well as the sincerity of the government in applying Islamic teachings in various jobs and all aspects of life.
