Climate change and its impacts are evident both globally and locally, manifesting in every sphere of life including natural resources. The African continent is considered the most vulnerable to these impacts while Ghana was ranked the 59th most vulnerable country to climate change in the world in 2014. Studies about groundwater resources under climate change point to some already occurred impacts with more anticipated. It is noted that climate change will exacerbate water stressing situations in Ghana as groundwater resources will be negatively affected. For instance, future scenarios indicate a general reduction in groundwater recharge of 5-22 % for 2020 and 30-40% for 2050. Already, the northern part of the country where most of the population depends on groundwater is noted for fallen groundwater tables. Therefore, in order to address these impacts in Africa, the role of institutions in promoting adaptation has been identified as one of the strategies. It is realised that institutions shape the nature of the impact of climate change, influence the way communities respond to climate change and serve as the intermediaries for external support. A glean of institutions in Ghana shows a plethora of them that are directly or indirectly regulating activities relating to water resources in the face of climate change. The thesis, therefore, looks at the nature of these institutions (state/formal) and their roles in promoting groundwater adaptation to climate change. In order to understand in detail the "how" and "why" of adaptation in relation to groundwater resources and also have a multi-perspective discussion that considers the voices of all relevant groups of actors together with their interactions in promoting groundwater resources adaptation, the study adopted a qualitative approach and made the Atankwidi catchment a case study area. Using triangulation, data were drawn from both primary (community/office interactions) and secondary sources and augmented by analyses of policy documents. The results of the study revealed that at both the national and sub-national levels, there is a multiplicity of state formal institutions in the form of laws, policies and administration even though there is currently no legislation designed in Ghana that focuses specifically on climate change adaptation. Focusing on the themes of groundwater adaptation, managing groundwater demand for domestic purposes appear to be receiving greater attention while storage, discharge and recharge need improvement. Like the Inuit in the Canadian Arctic, groundwater farmers of Atankwidi based on local knowledge have identified methods of adapting to the impacts of climate change on groundwater in the form of deepening wells, changing crop types, conjunctively using both surface and groundwater water and migrating to other places. Nonetheless, this local knowledge for promoting adaptation is limited. Therefore, formal institutions can enhance the scope of this knowledge by first of all recognising and documenting this knowledge as part of adaption efforts. Additionally, these institutions should educate and update local knowledge holders about some scientific methods of groundwater adaptation. This will create a new form of knowledge which is integrated and comprehensive enough to function independently to promote adaptation. Associated with this, farmers should be guided in adopting artificial methods of groundwater recharge that are anchored on local knowledge to boost groundwater availability. Inspired by the achievements of some existing artificial groundwater recharge methods in same northern Ghana, the thesis identified that the adoption of Managed Aquifer Recharge methods such as a subsurface dam in Atankwidi is feasible. This is premised on the fact that apart from the geophysical parameters of the catchment, it is realised that the institutional environment (both formal and informal) and the existence of local materials coupled with local knowledge support the construction and management of a subsurface dam. The thesis concluded that artificial recharge will contribute to promoting adaptation since natural recharge may be negatively affected over time due to the nature of rainfall pattern caused by climate change coupled with increasing population growth and booming groundwater dry season irrigation.:1. References APPENDICES ; Der Klimawandel und seine Auswirkungen sind global und lokal sichtbar und manifestieren sich in allen Lebensbereichen, einschließlich denen der natürlichen Ressourcen. Der afrikanische Kontinent gilt als am anfälligsten für diese Auswirkungen. Ghana wurde 2014 auf Rang 59 der für den Klimawandel anfälligsten Länder geführt. Studien über Grundwasserressourcen und Klimawandel zeigen bereits eingetretene Auswirkungen und deuten auf darauf hin, dass sich der Einfluss des Klimawandels auf das Grundwasser zukünftig noch verstärken wird. Der Klimawandel wird die Wasserknappheit in Ghana verschärfen, da die Grundwasserressourcen negativ beeinflusst werden. Zukunftsszenarien zeigen beispielsweise, dass die Grundwasserneubildung im Jahr 2020 um 5-22% und bis 2050 um 30-40% zurückgehen wird. Der nördliche Teil des Landes, in dem der Großteil der Bevölkerung vom Grundwasser abhängig ist, ist bereits jetzt von fallenden Grundwasserspiegeln betroffen. Um diesen Auswirkungen in Afrika entgegenzuwirken, wurde die Rolle der Institutionen bei der Förderung der Klimawandelanpassung als eine mögliche Strategie identifiziert. Institutionen können die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf eine Region mitprägen, sie können beeinflussen wie Gemeinschaften auf den Klimawandel reagieren, und als Vermittler für Unterstützung von außen dienen. Eine Zusammenstellung relevanter Institutionen in Ghana, die direkte oder indirekte Aktivitäten im Zusammenhang mit Wasserressourcen und Klimawandel regulieren, zeigt deren Fülle. Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Art dieser (staatlichen) Institutionen und ihrer Rolle bei der Förderung der Klimawandelanpassung des Grundwassers. Um das "Wie" und "Warum" dieser Anpassung im Detail zu verstehen und eine multiperspektivische Diskussion zu ermöglichen, bei der die Stimmen aller relevanten Akteursgruppen zusammen mit ihren Interaktionen bei der Förderung der Grundwasserressourcenanpassung berücksichtigt werden, verfolgt diese Studie einen qualitativen Ansatz mit dem Atankwidi-Einzugsgebiet als Fallstudie. Mittels Triangulation wurden Daten aus primären (Gemeinebefragungen) und sekundären Quellen gesammelt und durch Analysen von Richtlinien ergänzt. Die Ergebnisse der Studie zeigen, dass es sowohl auf nationaler als auch auf subnationaler Ebene eine Vielzahl staatlicher, formaler Institutionen in Form von Gesetzen, Richtlinien und Verwaltung gibt, obwohl in Ghana derzeit keine Gesetzgebung existiert, die sich speziell mit der Klimawandelanpassung befasst. Bezogen auf die Anpassung des Grundwassermanagements, wird der Bewirtschaftung des Grundwasserbedarfs für häusliche Zwecke viel Aufmerksamkeit zuteil, während die Speicherung, Entsorgung und Anreicherung von Wasser ungenügend betrachtet werden. Wie die Inuit in der kanadischen Arktis, haben die Landwirte von Atankwidi auf Grundlage des lokalen Wissens Methoden zur Anpassung an die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf das Grundwasser entwickelt, beispielsweise in Form von Vertiefungen von Brunnen, Änderung der Kulturpflanzenart, gleichzeitiger Nutzung von Oberflächen- und Grundwasser oder der Umsiedlung in andere Gebiete. Trotz der Tatsache, dass ihr lokales Wissen eine Anpassung ermöglicht, ist der begrenzte Umfang dieses Wissens als eine Schwachstelle anzusehen. Formale Institutionen können den Umfang dieses lokalen Wissens nutzbar machen und erweitern, indem sie dieses Wissen über Anpassungsmaßnahmen anerkennen und dokumentieren. Darüber hinaus sollten diese Institutionen lokale Gemeinden über weitere wissenschaftliche Methoden der Grundwasseranpassung informieren. Dadurch wird zusätzliches Wissen geschaffen, das integrierbar und umfassend genug ist, um eine unabhängige Anpassung zu fördern. Zusätzlich sollten Landwirte angeleitet werden, auf lokalem Wissen basierende Methoden der künstlichen Grundwasseranreicherung anzuwenden, um die Verfügbarkeit von Grundwasserressourcen zu erhöhen. Inspiriert von den Erfolgen einiger Anlagen zur künstlichen Grundwasseranreicherung im Norden Ghanas, empfiehlt diese Doktorarbeit die Implementierung von künstlichen Grundwasseranreicherungsanalagen in Atankwidi. Diese Empfehlung stützt sich auf den günstigen geophysikalischen Gegebenheiten des Einzugsgebiets und der Tatsache, dass das (formelle und informelle) institutionelle Umfeld eine Implementierung ermöglicht. Diese Arbeit kommt zu dem Schluss, dass die Anpassung der Grundwasserressourcen im Norden Ghanas mehr Aufmerksamkeit im Bereich der künstlichen Anreicherung erfordert, da die natürliche Grundwasserneubildung aufgrund der durch den Klimawandel verursachten veränderten Niederschlagsmuster in Verbindung mit einem zunehmenden Bevölkerungswachstum und einer boomenden Trockenzeitbewässerung im Grundwasser starke Veränderungen hervorrufen wird.:1. Transport er en fundamental faktor for den økonomiske udvikling og en af hjørnestenene bag velfærd. Den er yderligt ansvarlig for 28% af det endelige energiforbrug og 23 % af alle energirelaterede CO2 emissioner i verden, og anses som den sværeste sektor at dekarbonisere. For at kunne reducere karbon intensiteten og energiforbruget i transportsektoren er både teknologierne og forbrugsmønster nødvendige at ændre. Energisystemmodeller er et værdifuldt værktøj for langsigtede energiplanlægning. Beslutningstagere verden over har brugt modeller i mere end tre årtier til at analysere alternative retningslinjer for drivhusgas frie energi systemer og til at teste politiske tiltag. Kategorien buttom-up energi-økonomi-miljø-ingeniørarbejde (E4) modeller står for en detaljeret repræsentation af energi systemet. Dog er disse modeller ofte svage til at repræsentere menneskelig adfærd, selvom det er et fundamentalt element for beslutningstagere i transportsektoren. Denne afhandling udfylder dette hul i energisystemmodeller gennem forskellige metoder, der kan repræsentere adfærd inden for transport sektoren, og fremviser dermed retningslinjer til udføre nye transportanalyser og politiske incitament strukturer. Indledningsvist undersøger denne afhandling eksisterende videnskabelig litteratur inden for energi- og transportmodellering. Denne fremhæver manglende modellering af adfærdstendenser hos beslutningstagere og identificerer transportmiddelskift og køretøjs valg, som hovedpunkter, der skal integreres i modellerings værktøjer for at overkomme de eksisterende begrænsninger. Afhandlingen præsenterer metoder udviklet inden for rammerne af dette Ph.d. studie til at modellere transportmiddelskift og køretøjs valg i den danske TIMES energi systems model, TIMES-DK. De udvilkede metoderne kan klassificeres i to underkategorier: værktøjer udviklet med henblik på blive inkorporeret i TIMES-DK med transportspecifikke variabler og de der forbinder TIMES-DK med en ekstern transport-model. Som følge af den omfattende udvikling og test af metoder i dette Ph.d. studie er målet, at afhandlingen skal bruges som en manual for kollegaer og forskere med interesse inden for E4 modeller og forbrugernes adfærdsmønster i transport sektoren. Afhandlingen beskriver hvordan traditionelle E4 buttom-up optimerings modeller kan overkomme begrænsningerne takket være de udvikledet værktøjer. Yderligere, sammenlignes metodernes evne til at skildre adfærdsmæssige hovedtræk med henblik på at besvare politiske spørgsmål og den krævende indsats for at reproducere modellen. De nye metodiske værktøjer leder til en dybere og mere gennemgående analyse af fossil frie scenarier, hvor både adfærdsmønster og teknologiske dimensioner er inkluderet. Resultatet af denne afhandling indikerer at transportmiddelskift potentielt har positiv indvirkning i at dekarbonisere energi systemet og hjælpe med at opnå en fossilfri energi sektor i Danmark inden 2050 og kan sænke dens kumulative CO2 udledning. Undersøgelser udviklet i denne Ph.d.s anvendelsesområde bekræfter at forventes biler fortsat at være det førende transportmiddel i fremtiden. Et transportmiddelskift skal dog stadig suppleres med en Page | 4 elektrificering af bil-sektoren for at sænke drivhusgas udledningen i henhold til de danske klima målsætninger. Analyserne har til formål at informere danske beslutningstagere om energi- og transportplanlægning om det fordelagtige bidrag fra modalskifte og elektrificering af bil-sektoren for at reducere drivhusgasemissionerne. De nordiske erfaringer og model analyser er brugt til at give politiske anbefalinger til incitamentstrukturer som beslutningstagere kan iværksætte i praksis for at opnå et transportmiddelskift væk fra konventionelle biler og til mere klimavenlige transportmidler og indfasning af elbiler. Til slut diskuterer denne Ph.d.-afhandling hvilke forskningsområder, inden for forbrugervalg i BU optimering E4 modeller, der er stadigvæk er svagt belyst og anbefaler interessante energi- og transportanalyser, der bør udføres ved at benytte de nye modeller, som er udviklet i denne Ph.d.- afhandling. ; Transport is a fundamental driver of economic development and a key supporter of welfare. Nonetheless, it is responsible for approximately 28% of global final energy use, 23% of the global energyrelated CO2 emissions and is regarded as the most complicated sector to decarbonise. In order to reduce the carbon intensity and energy consumption of the transportation sector, both technological and behavioural changes are required. Energy system models are a valuable tool for long-term energy planning. Decision makers have been using these models for more than three decades to explore alternative pathways towards greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions free energy systems and to test the potential impact of policy measures. Bottom-up (BU) energy-economy-environment-engineering (E4) models in particular can provide a detailed technological representation of the energy system. However, these models are generally weak at representing human behaviour, despite it is a fundamental aspect of decision making in the transportation sector. This PhD thesis fills this gap by proposing several methodologies that improve the representation of consumers' choice in passenger transport within energy system models, thus paving the way for the possibility to carry out novel transport analyses and to consider a wider array of decarbonisation policies. The first part of this thesis reviews the current scientific literature regarding integrated energy and transport models. It highlights the failing in representing consumers' decision making and identifies modal choice and vehicle choice as key behavioral features to be integrated in the modeling framework to overcome the existing limitation. Following these two findings, this thesis presents the methodologies developed within the scope of this PhD research to incorporate modal choice and vehicle choice in TIMES-DK, the TIMES model of the Danish energy system. The methodologies developed can be classified in two categories: those that extend the structure of the TIMES model to accommodate novel transport-specific variables and those that link the TIMES model with an external transport model. Thanks to the broad spectrum of approaches developed and tested within the scope of this PhD research, this thesis ultimately aims at acting as a guide for fellow researchers interested in including behavioural realism of transport users' choice in E4 models. The thesis describes how traditional limits in the representation of behaviour within BU optimization E4 models can be addressed with the different approaches developed. Then, it compares the various methodologies with respect to the capability to capture key behavioural features, to answer different policy questions and to the modeling efforts required to reproduce the models. The novel methodologies proposed inaugurate the possibility to perform more comprehensive analyses of decarbonisation pathways, which include both the behavioural and technological dimension. The results of the PhD study indicate that modal shift potentially has a positive contribution to the decarbonisation of the energy system, helping to reach carbon-neutral energy system in Denmark in 2050 at faster pace and with lower cumulative emissions. The analyses carried out within the scope of this PhD research find that car transport is likely to maintain the highest modal share also in the future, suggesting that modal shift should be accompanied by the electrification of the car sector to comply with the Danish environmental targets and overarching climate targets. The analyses are intended to inform Danish policy makers dealing with energy and transport planning on the beneficial contribution of modal shift and of the electrification of the car stock to reduce GHG emissions. The Nordic experience and the findings of the modeling analyses are used to give policy recommendations on the measures that the authorities should put in practice to encourage modal shift away from car to more sustainable modes of transport and to promote the deployment of electric cars. Finally, this PhD thesis discusses future research to address the remaining gaps concerning the representation of consumers' choice within BU optimization E4 models and suggests interesting energy and transport analyses that should be performed using the novel models hereby proposed.

The people who live in the Merapi area have been going on for years. Merapi is the most active volcano in Central Java that can threaten the community, but the community still exists today, of course, having local wisdom in responding to the eruption of Merapi. This study aims to determine the local wisdom of Wonolelo Village before, during, and after the Merapi eruption. In addition, to find out the historical relationship of the Merapi eruption to local wisdom and the challenges faced by Wonolelo Village in maintaining the sustainability of local wisdom. This research was used as a descriptive qualitative method. The method of collecting data is done through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data sources of this study are community leaders, spiritual leaders, and people who are more than 70 years old. Analysis of the data used is sourced triangulation based on the Miles & Huberman model. The results showed that local wisdom in responding to the Merapi eruption in Wonolelo Village still exists today. Local wisdom is divided into three segments, namely before, during, and after the eruption of Merapi. Local wisdom before the Merapi eruption is a notification that Merapi eruption activity will occur. Local wisdom in Wonolelo Village has challenges in the form of modernization and not running the local wisdom relay to young people. Keywords: Disaster, Local wisdom, Merapi volcano. The processes of globalization and integration of economy ofUkraineto outer economic space provoke an origin in the country of a number of the crisis phenomena and destabilizing factors that negatively influence on socio-economic development of country. Among them distinguish economic activity of subjects of menage and shadow of economy.At the same time, a world economy is characterized by a double structure that shows up in legal and illegal sectors. The basic structural components of legal sector of economy are certain in the article, namely: legal trading in legal commodities; legal migration of labour force; legal motion of raw material and informative resources, capital assets, and also illegal sector of economy : contraband goods; illegal migration and trading in people; contraband goods of sources of raw materials; international "white-washing"; economic espionage and trade. On the basis of компаративного analysis the legal analysis of criminal legislation, the results of that allow to assert that in Ukraine responsibility increases for corruption abuses and set limitations for persons, that accomplished them, is conducted, and also in relation to their amnesty. The basic factors of origin of such important component are considered in the structure of shadow economy as shadow employment that renders direct influence on the indexes of socio-economic development of country. The basic ways of детінізації of economy and counteraction are outlined corruptions in a country, the scales of that attained critical in recent year. To that end providing of motivational normatively-legal environment, that would assist the conduct of legal economic activity, appears near-term; reduction of tax pressure is on small and midsize businesses; reduction of scales of протиправної employment. Серед них виділяють іллегальну економічну діяльність суб'єктів господарювання й тінізацію економіки.Водночас, світове господарство характеризується подвійною структурою, яка проявляється у легальному та нелегальному секторах. У статті визначено основні структурні компоненти легального сектора економіки, а саме: легальна торгівля легальними товарами; легальна міграція робочої сили; легальний рух сировинних та інформаційних ресурсів, капітальних активів, а також нелегального сектора економіки: контрабанда; нелегальна міграція та торгівля людьми; контрабанда сировинних ресурсів; міжнародне «відмивання» грошей; економічний шпіонаж та торгове «піратство».На основі компаративного аналізу проведено правовий аналіз кримінального законодавства, результати якого дозволяють стверджувати, що в Україні посилено відповідальність за корупційні зловживання та встановлені обмеження для осіб, які їх вчинили, а також щодо їх амністії. Розглянуто основні фактори виникнення такої важливої компоненти у структурі тіньової економіки як тіньова зайнятість, яка чинить безпосередній вплив на показники соціально-економічного розвитку країни. Окреслено основні шляхи детінізації економіки та протидії корупції в країні, масштаби яких в останні роки досягнули критичного рівня.З цією метою першочерговим виявляється забезпечення мотиваційного нормативно-правового середовища, яке б сприяло веденню легальної господарської діяльності; зменшення податкового тиску на малий та середній бізнес; скорочення масштабів протиправної зайнятості. На основі емпіричних досліджень з використанням програмних пакетів MS Excel, Statistiсa 8,0 та CurveExpert 5,0 проведено дослідження динаміки кримінальних проваджень у найбільш поширених корупційних злочинах, облікованих у 2013 – 2017 рр. й тенденцій щодо руху злочинів у найбільш поширених корупційних злочинах, кримінальні провадження за якими закрито у 2013–2017 рр. та визначено частку злочинів, провадження за якими закрито 2013–2017 рр. На основі економіко-математичних розрахунків проведено діагностику рівня тінізації економіки України у 2010–2018 рр. Досліджено й систематизовано основні проблеми побудови дієвої системи антикорупційного законодавства в Україні, зокрема, в частині встановлення відповідальності за такого роду злочини. Висвітлено стан та тенденції впливу глобалізації на становлення України як незалежного суб'єкта міжнародної економічної діяльності.З метою пошуку методів оцінки обсягів тіньової економіки та шляхів її детінізації запропоновано проводити дослідження тенденцій тіньової економіки в Україні за допомогою моделі Солоу, сутність якої полягає у розгляді тіньової економіки як єдиного цілого економічного явища (без структурних елементів) та у достатньо адекватному відображенні найважливіших макроекономічних аспектів тінізації процесу виробництва. ; Процессы глобализации и интеграции экономики Украины к мировому экономическому пространству провоцируют возникновение в стране целого ряда кризисных явлений и дестабилизирующих факторов, которые негативно влияют на социально-экономическое развитие страны. В то же время, мировое хозяйство характеризуется двойной структурой, которая проявляется в легальном и нелегальном секторах. В статье определены основные структурные компоненты легального сектора экономики, а именно: легальная торговля легальными товарами; легальная миграция рабочей силы; легальное движение сырьевых и информационных ресурсов, капитальных активов, а также нелегального сектора экономики: контрабанда; нелегальная миграция и торговля людьми; контрабанда сырьевых ресурсов; международное «отмывание» денег; экономический шпионаж и торговое «пиратство». На основе компаративного анализа проведен правовой анализ криминального законодательства, результаты которого позволяют утверждать, что в Украине усилена ответственность за коррупционные злоупотребления и установленные ограничения для лиц, которые их совершили, а также относительно их амнистии. Рассмотрены основные факторы возникновения такой важной компоненты в структуре теневой экономики как теневая занятость, которая оказывает непосредственное влияние на показатели социально-экономического развития страны. Очерчены основные пути детенизации экономики и противодействия коррупции в стране, масштабы которых в последние годы достигли критического уровня. С этой целью первоочередным оказывается обеспечение мотивационной нормативно-правовой среды, которая бы способствовала ведению легальной хозяйственной деятельности; уменьшению налогового давления на малый и средний бизнес; сокращению масштабов противоправной занятости. На основе эмпирических исследований с использованием программных пакетов MS Excel, Statistiсa 8,0 и CurveExpert 5,0 проведено исследование динамики криминальных осуществлений в наиболее распространенных коррупционных преступлениях, учтенных в 2013 – 2017 гг. и тенденций относительно движения преступлений в наиболее распространенных коррупционных преступлениях, криминальные осуществления за которыми закрыты в 2013 – 2017 гг. и определена часть преступлений, осуществления за которыми закрыто 2013 – 2017 гг. На основе экономико-математических расчетов проведена диагностика уровня тенизации экономики Украины в 2010-2018 гг. Исследовано и систематизированы основные проблемы построения действенной системы антикоррупционного законодательства в Украине, в частности установления ответственности при таком роде деятельности. Отражено состояние и тенденции влияния глобализации на становление Украины как независимого субъекта международной экономической деятельности. С целью поиска методов оценки объемов теневой экономики и путей ее детенизации предложено проводить исследование тенденций теневой экономики в Украине с помощью модели Солоу, сущность которой заключается в рассмотрении теневой экономики как единого целого экономического явления (без структурных элементов) и в достаточно адекватном отражении важнейших макроэкономических аспектов тенизации процесса производства.

Монтессорі, яка є актуальною в умовах сучасної тенденції освіти щодо впровадження ідей дитиноцентризму. Проаналізовано основні філософські засади цієї педагогічної системи та визначено її переваги у процесі виховання дитини в умовах самостійного розвитку. Виокремлено систему дошкільного виховання як початкову та важливу ланку у процесі освітньої практики. Визначено вимоги до створення спеціального освітнього простору у процесі розвитку дитини, охарактеризовано особливості методичних засад у підготовці педагогів до роботи з дітьми дошкільного та молодшого шкільного віку. Описано умови діяльності школи «Смайлик», яка працює за системою М. Монтессорі в місті Івано-Франківськ. Виокремлено умови налагодження діяльності дітей та педагогів з метою індивідуалізації освітнього процесу, сприяння розвитку дітей у природовідповідному середовищі, вироблення власних стратегій співпраці батьків вихованців і педагогів. Педагогічний рівень системи М. Монтессорі сприяє реалізації засад теорії дитиноцентризму та відповідає умовам розвитку дитини у демократичному суспільстві, бо трактує проблему взаємодії дорослого і дитини в процесі освітньої діяльності як вільну доцільну діяльність дітей у спеціально організованих дидактичних умовах. Методичний рівень системи М. Монтессорі розкриває конкретні прийоми та засоби виховання і навчання дітей, експериментально перевірену методику роботи з комплексом оригінальних дидактичних Монтессорі-матеріалів. Педагогіка М. Монтессорі інтереси дитини ставить на чільне місце в організації освіти, забезпечуючи умови індивідуального розвитку. Такий підхід забезпечує виконання основних гуманістичних традицій української етнопедагогіки, де дитина є суб'єктом соціального розвитку. А створена впродовж останніх десятиліть українська модель Монтессорі-школи підтверджує актуальність цієї системи для задоволення сучасних запитів суспільства у вихованні вільної, самостійної, ініціативної, громадянсько відповідальної, інтелектуально грамотної особистості. У статті підкреслено переваги використання педагогічної технології М. Montessori, which is relevant in the context of the modern tendency of education in introducing the ideas of child-centrism. The basic philosophical foundations of this pedagogical system are analyzed and its advantages in the process of raising a child in conditions of independent development are determined. The system of preschool education is highlighted as the initial one in the process of educational practice. The requirements for the formation of a special educational space in the process of child development are defined; the features of the methodological foundations in preparing teachers for work with children of preschool and primary school age are highlighted. The conditions of the activity of the school «Smiley», which works on the M. Montessori's system in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, are described. The conditions for improving the activities of children and teachers in order to individualize the educational process, promote the development of children in a nature-friendly environment, and develop their own strategies for cooperation between parents of pupils and teachers are highlighted. The pedagogical level of the M. Montessori's system contributes to the implementation of the theory of child-centrism and meets the conditions of child development in a democratic society, since it treats the problem of interaction between an adult and a child in the process of educational activity as a free expedient activity of children in specially organized didactic conditions. The methodological level of the M. Montessori's system reveals specific techniques and means of raising and educating children, an experimentally tested methodology for working with a complex of original didactic Montessori materials. Pedagogy of M. Montessori puts the interests of the child at the forefront in the organization of education, providing conditions for individual development. This approach ensures the implementation of the basic humanistic traditions of Ukrainian ethnic pedagogy, where the child is the subject of social development. And the Ukrainian model of the Montessori-school, created over the past decades, confirms the relevance of this system for solving the modern needs of society in raising a free, independent, proactive, civic responsible, intellectually literate person. The article emphasizes the advantages of using the pedagogical technology of M. Montessori in working with children of preschool and primary school age in one educational space, where the child's development system is implemented sequentially on the basis of continuity. Den globale befolkning vokser og det samme gør urbaniseringen - i øjeblikket bor over halvdelen af verdensbefolkningen i byområder. Energi- og transportsystemer i byområder er ansvarlige for op til 70% af verdensomspændende drivhusgasemissioner, derfor er klimaforanstaltninger på lokalt plan meget vigtige, hvis målene af Parisaftalen skal opfyldes. Byer anerkender udfordringen og takket være den lokale regerings relativt stabile politiske situation såvel som nærheden til borgerne bliver byerne i stigende grad drivkraften for en bæredygtig energiomstilling. I Danmark implementerer mange kommuner ambitiøs klima- og energipolitik der sigter mod at nå kulstofneutralitet inden for de næste årtier. Planlæggere og beslutningstagere har brug for beslutningsstøtteværktøjer til udarbejdelse af deres strategiske energiplaner. Energisystemmodeller kunne spille en sådanne rolle ved at hjælpe med at vurdere muligheden for projekter inden for vedvarende energi og energibesparelser på et systemniveau, og med at identificere scenarier for en omkostningseffektiv reduktion af CO2 emissioner. Ikke desto mindre er der stadig ikke tilstrækkelig forskning omkring identificering og evaluering af bæredygtige energiscenarier til laveste omkostninger for specifikke lokale energisystemer, egnethedsvurderingen af potentielle værktøjer, der kan bruges, og deres anvendelighed fra kommuneplanlæggernes perspektiv. Derfor undersøger denne ph.d.-afhandling metoderne til at repræsentere byens energisystemer og vurderer, hvilke ændringer er gennemførlige i byernes energisystemer for at reducere CO2 udledningen. Ph.d. afhandlingen anvender matematisk modellering af energiscenarier i tre danske casestudier: Storkøbenhavnsområdet, og to mellemstore kommuner: Helsingør i det østlige Danmark og Sønderborg i det vestlige Danmark. Afhandlingen undersøger også forholdet mellem de tekniske ændringer i energisystemerne forårsaget af en øget andel af vedvarende energi og energieffektivitet, og udvalgte økonomiske egenskaber, såsom systemomkostninger. Derudover bruger den en kvalitativ forskning bestående af interviews og indholdsanalyse for at undersøge rollen af energisystemmodellering i kommunal planlægning. Ph.d. afhandlingen består af fire artikler, der fokuserer på klimaforebyggende handlinger i energiinfrastruktur og det byggede miljø, og forbedringer af modeller og modelleringsprocessen for energisystemer i byer. Denne ph.d. afhandling finder, at det er muligt at betydeligt reducere CO2- emissioner fra energisystemer i byer på en omkostningseffektiv måde ved at implementere en blanding af forskellige typer af energiomdannelse og lagring og en balance mellem fjernvarmeudvidelse og varmebesparelser. Mens de detaljerede konklusioner hovedsageligt finder anvendelse på København, Helsingør og Sønderborg, på et mere generelt niveau er de vejledende for andre områder med lignende klimatiske forhold, befolkning og naturressourcer. Denne ph.d. afhandling betragter fire forskellige energimodelleringsværktøjer og tre forskellige energisystemer som casestudier. Ud fra de anvendte modelleringsværktøjer findes Sifre og Balmorel egnede til at analysere integrerede energisystemer, mens energyPRO og regnearkværktøjet LCT - til at analysere varme og varmebesparelser. Blandt svaghederne ved kvantitativ energiscenariemodellering er en manglende evne til at skildre komplekse og ikke-lineære interaktioner mellem aktører på energiområdet. Derfor skal energisystemmodellering suppleres med andre typer af analyse for bedre at kunne vise bæredygtighedsomstillingen. Den kvalitative analyse viser, at kommunerne ikke er aktive modelbrugere, men er involverede i modelleringsprocessen sammen med konsulentfirmaer, varmeforsyningsfirmaer eller universiteter. Alligevel kan modelleringsprocessen forbedres ved øget indsats for at dele data, antagelser og modeller, interog tværkommunalt samarbejde og konstant dialog om, hvordan man kan gøre værktøjer nyttige til planlægning og implementering af bæredygtighedsmål. Generelt kan resultaterne af denne ph.d. afhandling understøtte planlæggere og beslutningstagere i omstillingen til et mere bæredygtigt planlagt energisystem i en by og på den måde opnå tekniske, miljømæssige, sociale og økonomiske fordele. ; The global population is growing and so is the urbanisation share - currently over half of the world population lives in urban areas. Urban energy and transport systems are responsible for up to 70% of worldwide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, therefore the climate action on the local level is crucial if the objectives of the Paris Agreement are to be fulfilled. Owing to the relatively stable political situation of local governments, as well as their closeness to citizens, cities and towns are recognizing the challenge and increasingly becoming the drivers of sustainable energy transition. In Denmark, many municipalities implement ambitious climate and energy policy aiming to reach carbon neutrality within next decades. Planners and decision-makers need decision support tools for devising their strategic energy plans. Energy system models could play such a role by helping assess the feasibility of renewable energy and energy savings projects on a system level and identify scenarios for cost-efficient reduction of CO2 emissions. Nonetheless, there is still not enough research concerning the identification and evaluation of least-cost sustainable energy scenarios for specific local urban energy systems, the suitability assessment of potential tools to be used and their usefulness from the municipal planners' perspective. Therefore, this PhD thesis investigates the methods for representing urban energy systems and assesses what changes are feasible in urban energy systems in order to reduce CO2 emissions. The PhD thesis employs mathematical modelling of energy scenarios for three Danish cases: the Greater Copenhagen area, and two middle-sized municipalities: Helsingør (Elsinore) in eastern Denmark and Sønderborg in western Denmark. The dissertation also examines relations between the technical changes in energy systems caused by increased share of renewables and energy efficiency, and selected economic characteristics, such as system costs. Moreover, it explores the role of energy system modelling in municipal planning using qualitative research consisting of expert interviews and content analysis. The PhD thesis comprises four papers, focusing on climate mitigation actions in the energy infrastructure and the built environment, and improvements of modelling tools and the modelling process of urban energy systems. This PhD thesis finds that it is possible to significantly reduce CO2 emissions from urban energy systems in a cost-effective way by implementing a mix of different energy conversion pathways and energy storage, and a balance between district heating expansion and heat savings. Whereas the detailed findings are applicable mainly for Copenhagen, Helsingør and Sønderborg, on a more general level they are indicative for other areas with similar climatic conditions, population and natural resources. This dissertation considers three different energy modelling tools and three different energy systems as case studies. Out of the modelling tools used, Sifre and Balmorel are found suitable to analyse integrated energy systems, while energyPRO and the spreadsheet tool LCT - to analyse heating and heat savings. Among the weaknesses of quantitative energy scenario modelling is the inability to depict complex and non-linear stakeholder interactions. Therefore, to better portray sustainability transitions, energy system modelling should be, and often is, supplemented by other types of analysis. The qualitative analysis shows that municipalities are not active model users, but are involved in the modelling process together with consultancy firms, heat supply companies or academia. Yet still, the modelling process can be improved by putting more effort into sharing data, assumptions and models, interand cross-municipal collaboration, as well as a constant dialogue on how to make tools useful for planning and implementing sustainability measures. Overall, the findings of this PhD thesis can support planners and decision-makers in the transition towards a more sustainably-planned energy system of a city, allowing achieving technical, environmental, social and economic benefits.

With the advent of the Industrial Revolution and its worldwide occurrence, the increased use of fossil fuels in the building sector have raised which caused energy crisis and global warming as a result of carbon dioxide emissions. The stated issues have led the authorities to develop a creative approach to confronting the crisis through energy efficiency policies. However, optimizing energy consumption should not result in losing thermal comfort in buildings. Therefore, these two approaches must be considered in the same direction and from the early stage of the building design. One of the main causes of excessive use of energy in buildings of severe climates (i.e., for heating and cooling purposes) is heat conduction through building external walls. Therefore selecting the optimal walls, with the approaches of energy efficiency and thermal comfort can be a great step in this direction particularly in regions with the severe climatic condition. However, the process of walls selection itself is another issue that requires comprehensive research on the subject, influential factors, evaluation criterion as well as the decision-making process. Accordingly, the present study, oriented to develop a comparative model selecting optimal opaque wall constructions in hot and humid climates based on four main evaluation criterion namely energy saving (by means of dynamic thermal simulation), thermal comfort (by means of Fanger's PMV model), moisture control (by means of steady-state Glaser analysis) as well as the cost efficiency (by means of amortization time calculation). The reason why "hot and humid climate" was chosen was that the thermal behavior of the walls in such climates faces unpredictable factors due to the climate characteristics, such as moisture condensation and heat behavior in different periods of the year. Both research methods of qualitative and quantitative were employed in this study including literature survey, field survey, computer-based simulation, temperature monitoring, thermal and cost analysis as well as a simple multi-attribute rating technique (SMART) for the final assessment and the decision making process. To indicate the application of the developed multi-factor optimization model, a case study methodology was employed by means of a two-bedroom flat in Kish Island, Iran which is characterized by a "hot and humid climate". The number of 10 wall cases were selected in accordance with the most commonly used wall constructions in the context (walls 1-5 and 10) besides suitable ones suggested by the literature review after a process of localization (in accordance with the context building code; walls 6-9). Based on the results wall 6 obtained the highest performance for energy saving and thermal comfort hours followed by walls 7, 8, 10 and 9 respectively. On the contrary, wall 3 obtained the worst result for energy saving and thermal comfort hours, followed by walls 1, 2, 5 and 4. In addition to energy saving and thermal comfort, based on Glaser analysis, condensation was occurred for walls 6 and 7, which employed insulation internally and externally respectively. However, since the results for the condensation rate is below the limit, the walls are not at the risk for condensation at all. Further, the results for cost efficiency indicated that the entire wall cases amortized their initial cost less than the limit of 10 years while wall 3 considered to be the wall with the longest amortization time period of 9.1 years. On the contrary, wall 10 considered being the wall with the shortest amortization time period of 4.8 years. As a result for the final assessment and overall grading of the SMART in terms of energy saving, thermal comfort and cost efficiency for the entire simulated wall constructions, wall 6 obtained the highest overall grade; this is the opposite for wall 3, obtaining the lowest grade among the entire simulated cases. Paying attention to the results, it can be deducted that the walls that suggested by the literature review and as a result of localization process (employing thermal insulation) showed more energy saving and thermal comfort potential at all. It also should be highlighted that since the developed model is inherently comparative in which multiple evaluation factors are considered, the result is obtained generally, on aggregate. Based on the findings and in accordance with the walls total grades through the SMART, the most efficient walls were the ones formed during the localization process (i.e., walls 6-9) in addition to a 40-cm adobe wall (i.e., wall 10) as the representative case for traditional walls used in ancient architecture of Kish Island. As a consequence, the results of the case study revealed that the application of the developed model has the potential to save cost and energy, improve the thermal quality of the indoor environment as well as predicting the risk of condensation in buildings' walls of hot and humid climates. Dolayısıyla, bunun sonucunda enerji koruma politikaları geliştirmesine yol açılmıştır. Bununla birlikte, enerji tüketimini optimize etmek binalarda ısıl konforun gözardı edilmesi anlamını taşımaz. Çok faktörlü optimizasyon yönteminin geliştirilmesi, literatür taramasının öne sürdüğü uygun duvarların yanı sıra, yerel kullanım alanı bulmuş yaygın uvar türleri arasında yapılacak seçimin, enerji verimliliği, ısıl konfor ve ekonomik analizleri de içeren çok faktörlü optimizasyon yöntemini geliştirilerek değerlendirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Önerilen model yapılan saha çalışması ile test edilmiştir. Saha çalışmasında literatür taraması ile önerilen iç duvarlar, yerel kullanım alanı bulmuş duvar seçenekleri ile mukayese edilerek sonuca ulaşılmıştır. Das Ziel dieser Diplomarbeit ist die Analyse der Motive der Mutterschaft und der Emanzipation in den Romanen "Lagerfeuer" und "Die Mittagsfrau" der deutschen Schriftstellerin Julia Franck, die 1970 in Ost-Berlin geboren wurde. Der Hauptcharakter des Romans "Lagerfeuer" ist Nelly Senf, eine junge Mutter zweier Kinder, die wegen des Selbstmordes ihres Geliebten und Vaters ihrer beiden Kinder trauert und in den Westen Deutschlands zieht. Neben ihrer Verzweiflung und Schmerzen, die sie während der Flucht erleidet und der schweren Situation zwischen ihr und ihren Kindern, wird im Roman durch die Figur der Nelly Senf auch das Motiv der Mutterschaft und Emanzipation behandelt. Im zweiten Roman "Die Mitagsfrau" gibt es zwei Mütter mit verschiedenen Charakteren und Eigenschaften. Im Verlauf des Romans wird anhand dieser beiden Figuren gezeigt, wie sich eine Mutter nicht verhalten sollte und wie sich eine Frau im Verlauf der Zeit und in im tristen Alltag zurechtfindet. Der Roman "Die Mittagsfrau" handelt von der unglücklichen Lebenssituation der Helene Würsich und ihrer Mutter, Alice Sehmisch, von ihrer Geburt in Bautzen im Jahr 1907 bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, als sie ihren siebenjährigen Sohn Peter 1945 auf einer Bahnhofsbank auf dem Weg nach Berlin verlässt, weil sie verhindern möchte, dass ihr Sohn nicht bei einer emotional kalten Mutter lebt, wie sie es selbst musste. Helene bemüht sich, ihrem Kind das Bestmögliche zu bieten. Den Hauptteil der Zeit widmet sie ihrer Karriere, um das gemeinsame Leben mit ihrem Sohn zu verbessern. Julia Franck beschreibt die Traumata aus Helenes Kindheit als emotionale Entfremdung, die Helenes junges Leben von Anfang an bestimmten. Helene verwandelt sich in eine apathische Mutter, die am Ende ihr eigenes Kind verlässt, um sich nicht selbst zu verlieren. Im Roman "Lagerfeuer" ist der Hauptcharakter Nelly Senf, eine junge Mutter zweier Kinder. Sie ist eine gebildete Frau, die ihre Lebensziele genau kennt. Nelly beweist, wie eine Frau gleichzeitig eine Ausbildung machen kann und eine gute Mutter sein kann, die sich um ihre Familie kümmert. Nelly Senf hat zwei Kinder, Katja und Aleksej. Beide Kinder wechseln in eine andere soziale Umgebung, verändern ihre Gewohnheiten und die Schule. In einigen Abschnitten des Romans liest man, wie Nelly eine verständnisvolle und liebevolle Mutter ist, während andere Stellen ihren emotional kalten Standpunkt beschreiben, der nicht zu einer Mutter passt. Anhand der Analyse beider Werke kommt man zum Schluss, dass die Mutterschaft und Emanzipation aus der Sicht dieser drei Mütter und Frauen, verschieden ausgelegt, verstanden und gelebt werden kann. Alle drei Mütter haben verstanden, dass die Mutterschaft eine Herausforderung ist, allerdings sind sie sich nicht alle darüber bewusst, dass sie auch eines der schönsten Dinge im Leben ist. Alle drei sind nicht stark genug, um diese Herausforderung richtig anzunehmen, zusätzlich hinterlassen das falsche Verhalten und die schlechte Erziehung, die sie selbst durchlebten, auch negative Folgen bei ihren eigenen Kindern. Aufgrund des großen Drucks der damaligen politischen Situation, der Zeit einer ausgeprägt politischen Ideologie, des Nationalsozialismus, geben sich einige von ihnen selbst auf. Am Beispiel der Nelly Senf sieht man, dass man trotz dieser schwierigen Zeiten seine Wünsche mit seinem Leben in Einklang bringen kann, wenn man nur einen ausreichend starken Charakter hat. Was das Motiv der Emanzipation betrifft, stellt dieser Begriff für Helene und Nelly ein Imperativ dar, während Selma sich immer mehr in sich selbst zurückzieht. U romanu se kroz lik Nelly Senf ističe motiv majčinstva i emancipacije. Roman "Die Mittagsfrau" prikazuje dvije majke različitih osobina i karaktera. Prikaz ženskih likova omogućuje uvid u majčinstvo kakvo ne bi trebalo biti i uvid u bitku koju žena vodi s vremenom i neprilikama koje joj život nosi. Roman "Die Mittagsfrau" nesretna je životna priča Helene Würsich i njene majke. Radnja prati razvoj događaja od njenog rođenja 1907. godine do trenutka kad 1945. godine napušta sedmogodišnjeg sina Petra na kolodvorskoj klupi na putu za Berlin. Julia Franck pokazuje kako je emocionalna otuđenost od početka odredila čitav život ove mlade žene. Djetinjstvo lišeno emocija Helene pretvara u apatičnu majku, u majku koja na kraju napusti svoje dijete kako ne bi izgubila sebe zauvijek. U romanu "Lagerfeuer" glavni je lik majka dvoje djece, Nelly Senf, obrazovana žena koja jasno zna svoje ciljeve. Nelly pokazuje kako žena i majka dvoje djece može postići svoje obrazovne ciljeve, a ujedno brinuti i o obitelji. Analizom djela dolazimo do zaključka da životna priča jedne žene i uloga kao majke ne sliči drugoj. Kada govorimo o motivu emancipacije, taj je pojam za Helene i Nelly imperativ, dok ga Selma zatomljuje duboko u sebi. With all the suffering and pain that she describes as she moves to the West and the troublesome situations Nelly and her children experience, the novel emphasizes the motif of motherhood and emancipation through her character. In the second novel, "Die Mittagsfrau", there are two mothers, of different traits and characters, who throughout the novel show what motherhood should not be and how one woman copes with time and difficulties her life carries. The novel "Die Mittagsfrau" is an unhappy life story of Helen Würsich and her mother, Alice Sehmisch, from her birth in Bautzen in 1907 until she left her seven-yearold son Peter in 1945 on the train station on his way to Berlin. With the desire that her child does not grow up as she did, with an emotionally cold mother, Helen strives to provide the best she can. She devotes most of her time to education and building a career that will make her life easier. Nevertheless, childhood traumas mark her. Julia Franck shows how emotional alienation has defined this young woman's life from the beginning. Helen's emotionless childhood turns her into an apathetic mother, who eventually abandons her child in order to save herself. In the novel "Lagerfeuer", the main character is the mother of two children Nelly Senf, an educated woman who clearly knows her goals. Nelly shows that it is possible for a woman, a mother with two children, to achieve the level of education she craves for and to care for her family. Both of her children, Katya and Alexey, are changing their living environment and habits, as well as their school. Their mother, in this difficult part of their lives, must comfort and support them. In some parts of the novel, Nelly's mother figure is full of understanding and love, and in others she shows a cool emotional attitude which is not fit for her role. Analysing the novels, motherhood and emancipation can be understood differently from the perspective of three mothers and women. All three mothers are aware that motherhood is hard work, but they are not aware that it is also the most beautiful job in the world. Likewise, not all of them are strong enough to do the job properly and to see that bad behaviour and poor upbringing have an effect on their children. Due to great pressure and the political situation of the time, great political ideologies and National Socialism, some of them give up. The example of Nelly Senf shows how everything can be done when desire and will are aligned. When it comes to the motif of emancipation, Selma obscures it deep within, while for Helen and Nelly this is an imperative. Emancipation marks the path for a better future for one mother, while the other reconciles with destiny as it is.

Textile products are an integral part of people's everyday life. In the process of exploitation of textile products, the human body directly contacts with textile materials throughout life, so the issue of their safety is especially important in the production of textiles and clothing.Creation of innovative formulae of washing compositions allows combining the high efficiency of the washing process with the treatment of textiles with special types of finishing. Studies aimed at the development of effective compositions with polyfunctional action based on surfactants (surface-active biodegradable substances) with the use of antimicrobial preparations are urgent and promising. They also contribute to the development of the market of chemical products, reduce the material consumption of technology and the cost of production and increase the ecological safety of the process.A complex evaluation of changes in the operational properties of textile materials after treatment with compositions of ecologically safe substances was carried out. The results of the study will contribute to reducing the ecological burden on the environment and human health. In addition, this ensures the preservation of the consumer properties of textile products during operation.The complex study of the influence of compositions of ecologically safe substances on the hygienic properties of textile products is presented.The analysis of the effectiveness of the compositions on the technological parameters (washing ability, anti-resorption capacity, composition concentration, treatment time) of the process of removal of contaminations from textile products made of cotton, polyester and their mixtures was carried out. The quantitative indices of capillarity of fabrics are determined, namely, the raising height of the composition of solutions (h, mm), which characterizes the quality of cleaning of pores of textile materials. Experimental data indicate that the treatment of fabrics made of cotton and polyester and mixtures thereof contributes to their hydrophilicity, which is expressed in improving their wettability with aqueous solutions and increasing capillarity from 131 mm to 152 mm due to the presence of adsorbed surfactants on materials.The influence of compositions of ecologically safe substances on the representative of the normal microflora of the human body P. freudenreichii was investigated. It was found that the culture was restored to 104–105 cells/ml after 48 hours of fabric sample exposure and in the P. freudenreichii sterility control environment.It was found that treatment of textile products at the concentration of compositions of ecologically safe substances of 2.5 g/l is technologically and ecologically expedient. As the high quality of cleaning of products is achieved (from 80 % to 88 %), the capillarity of textile materials increases, and the healthy microflora of human skin is preserved. The obtained research data allows us to recommend the use of compositions of ecologically safe substances for the treatment of special-purpose textile products (for military, athletes, etc.), as well as home textiles ; Текстильні вироби є невід'ємною частиною щоденного життя людей. В процесі експлуатації текстильних виробів організм людини має безпосередній контакт з текстильними матеріалами протягом всього життя, тому питання їх безпечності на сьогодні є особливо важливим у виробництві текстильних матеріалів і одягу.Створення інноваційних формул мийних композицій дозволяє поєднати високу ефективність мийного процесу з наданням текстильним матеріалам спеціальних видів опорядження. Дослідження, спрямовані на розробку ефективних композицій з поліфункціональною дією на основі біоПАР (поверхнево-активних речовин, які піддаються біодеградації) із застосуванням протимікробних препаратів, є актуальними і перспективними. Вони також сприяють розвитку ринку хімічної продукції, зниженню матеріалоємності технології і собівартості послуги, підвищують екологічну безпеку процесу.Проведено комплексну оцінку змін експлуатаційних властивостей текстильних матеріалів після обробки композиціями екологічно-безпечних речовин. Результати дослідження сприятимуть зменшенню екологічного навантаження на навколишнє середовище, здоров'я людей. Крім того, забезпечується збереження споживчих властивостей текстильних виробів в процесі експлуатації.Представлено комплексне дослідження впливу композицій екологічно-безпечних речовин на гігієнічні властивості текстильних виробів. Проведено аналіз ефективності дії композицій на технологічні параметри (мийна здатність, антиресорбційна здатність, концентрація композиції, тривалість обробки) процесу видалення забруднень з текстильних виробів з бавовни, поліефіру та їх сумішей. Визначено кількісні показники капілярності тканин, а саме висоту підняття розчину композицій (h, мм), яка характеризує якість очищення пор текстильних матеріалів. Експериментальні дані свідчать про те, що обробка тканин з бавовни і поліефіру та їх сумішей композиціями сприяє підвищенню їх гідрофільності, що виражається у покращенні їх змочувальності водними розчинами і збільшенню капілярності від 131 мм до 152 мм за рахунок присутності на матеріалах адсорбованих біоПАР.Досліджено вплив композицій екологічно-безпечних речовин на представника нормальної мікрофлори тіла людини P. freudenreichii. Виявлено, відновлення культури до 104-105 клітин/мл через 48 год експозиції зразка тканини та в середовищі контролю стерильності P. freudenreichii.Встановлено, що обробка текстильних виробів при концентрації композицій екологічно-безпечних речовин 2,5 г/л є технологічно та екологічно доцільною. Оскільки досягається висока якість очищення виробів (від 80% до 88 %), підвищується капілярність текстильних матеріалів, зберігається здорова мікрофлора шкіри людини. Montessori, which is relevant in the context of the modern tendency of education in introducing the ideas of child-centrism. The basic philosophical foundations of this pedagogical system are analyzed and its advantages in the process of raising a child in conditions of independent development are determined. The system of preschool education is highlighted as the initial one in the process of educational practice. The requirements for the formation of a special educational space in the process of child development are defined; the features of the methodological foundations in preparing teachers for work with children of preschool and primary school age are highlighted. The conditions of the activity of the school «Smiley», which works on the M. Montessori's system in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, are described. The conditions for improving the activities of children and teachers in order to individualize the educational process, promote the development of children in a nature-friendly environment, and develop their own strategies for cooperation between parents of pupils and teachers are highlighted. The pedagogical level of the M. Montessori's system contributes to the implementation of the theory of child-centrism and meets the conditions of child development in a democratic society, since it treats the problem of interaction between an adult and a child in the process of educational activity as a free expedient activity of children in specially organized didactic conditions. The methodological level of the M. Montessori's system reveals specific techniques and means of raising and educating children, an experimentally tested methodology for working with a complex of original didactic Montessori materials. Pedagogy of M. Montessori puts the interests of the child at the forefront in the organization of education, providing conditions for individual development. This approach ensures the implementation of the basic humanistic traditions of Ukrainian ethnic pedagogy, where the child is the subject of social development. And the Ukrainian model of the Montessori-school, created over the past decades, confirms the relevance of this system for solving the modern needs of society in raising a free, independent, proactive, civic responsible, intellectually literate person. The article emphasizes the advantages of using the pedagogical technology of M. Проаналізовано основні філософські засади цієї педагогічної системи та визначено її переваги у процесі виховання дитини в умовах самостійного розвитку. Виокремлено систему дошкільного виховання як початкову та важливу ланку у процесі освітньої практики. Визначено вимоги до створення спеціального освітнього простору у процесі розвитку дитини, охарактеризовано особливості методичних засад у підготовці педагогів до роботи з дітьми дошкільного та молодшого шкільного віку. Описано умови діяльності школи «Смайлик», яка працює за системою М. Монтессорі в місті Івано-Франківськ. Виокремлено умови налагодження діяльності дітей та педагогів з метою індивідуалізації освітнього процесу, сприяння розвитку дітей у природовідповідному середовищі, вироблення власних стратегій співпраці батьків вихованців і педагогів. Педагогічний рівень системи М. Монтессорі сприяє реалізації засад теорії дитиноцентризму та відповідає умовам розвитку дитини у демократичному суспільстві, бо трактує проблему взаємодії дорослого і дитини в процесі освітньої діяльності як вільну доцільну діяльність дітей у спеціально організованих дидактичних умовах. Методичний рівень системи М. Монтессорі розкриває конкретні прийоми та засоби виховання і навчання дітей, експериментально перевірену методику роботи з комплексом оригінальних дидактичних Монтессорі-матеріалів. Педагогіка М. Монтессорі інтереси дитини ставить на чільне місце в організації освіти, забезпечуючи умови індивідуального розвитку. Такий підхід забезпечує виконання основних гуманістичних традицій української етнопедагогіки, де дитина є суб'єктом соціального розвитку. А створена впродовж останніх десятиліть українська модель Монтессорі-школи підтверджує актуальність цієї системи для задоволення сучасних запитів суспільства у вихованні вільної, самостійної, ініціативної, громадянсько відповідальної, інтелектуально грамотної особистості. У статті підкреслено переваги використання педагогічної технології М. Монтессорі у роботі з дітьми дошкільного та молодшого шкільного віку в одному освітньому просторі, де система розвитку дитини реалізовується послідовно на засадах наступності.

The article is devoted to the analysis of nominative processes and lexical changes occurring at the present stage of the development in English. The neologisms in modern English language have been studied in this research. The purpose of the article is to consider the ways of neologisms formation and to study areas of their usage. The objects of the research are new words which have appeared in the language during the recent year. A brief review of theoretical approaches to the problem of studying neologisms has been given. The role of neologic processes in modern English has been described. Reasons for the appearing of neologisms have been analyzed, areas of their usage have been determined. Examples of the most interesting new words and expressions, their original sources have been given; the most widespread spheres of their functioning have been specified; their main components and natural features have been determined. To classify the analyzed lexical units, the distribution of neologisms according to thematic groups has been carried out. Ten following thematic groups have been distinguished: computer technologies and social networks; politics; economy and trade; human being in the modern world; emotions and feelings; recreation and entertainment; everyday life (clothes, shoes, appearance); food; sport; ecology and environment. The reasons for the appearance of neologisms in these spheres have been considered. The ability of lexical innovations to reflect events, phenomena, changes and modern tendencies that occur in society has been studied. Functions of neologisms in modern mass media have been analyzed and reviewed. The use of neologisms for reaching the communicative aims has been studied. It is determined that the high frequency of their use in the mass media contributes to the actualization of certain words and expressions. This thesis, which seeks to formalize a psycho-social geographical situation, reviews the role of the psyche and of space in individuation and the relationship with the other by studying everyday life in Cadaqués, a semi-rural tourist village on Spain's Costa Brava, situated in the heart of the Catalan region of Empordà on the South-Mediterranean coast. This village has a diverse local population, given the presence of European and non-European immigrants who are often reduced to the status of foreign seasonal and temporary workers, often long-term. In this shared community, with a wide variety of rich and complex lives, co-habitation with outsiders leads to the emergence of several subgroups based on hierarchical social position and promotion of a so-called native authenticity. A transcalar interpretation of spatial changes and a biographical approach on human experience permits an assessment of contemporary transformations in this village as part of the global world and of different forms of co-habitation that emanate from this situation. It describes a space constituted by a secular interaction of a wide range of material and idealistic changes, while at the same time, exposing the variations negotiated between individuals along community lines and influenced by various interests, despite their shared existential misfortunes and aspirations. This analysis, which is based on a qualitative survey of an ethnographic terrain, interviews with different categories of residents, statistical data, press articles, and mapping, reveals daily life functioning within a plurality of universes. Geohistorical catalysts of notoriety and adherence to globalization processes of the village of Cadaqués, as well as issues arising from a co-habitation between native population and visitors, are both highlighted by inter/national migrations. This extended case study takes a distanced, situated and ordinarized approach to questioning the participation of migrants in their village, a participation that is more often analysed in an urban environment from the perspective of methodological ethnicism and inclusiveness. With the rise in racism, political short-term vision and disputes over conformity to democratic principles, specifically the right to live and move around Europe and the West, this thesis demonstrates the importance of initiating a renewed prospective and utopic approach to a respectful sociality that is capable of promoting otherness and a citizenship that permits both rooting and mobility. ; Esta tesis pretende formalizar una geografía psicosocial y trata del papel de la psique y del espacio en la individuación y la relación con el otro, mediante el estudio del habitar en Cadaqués. Éste es un municipio turístico y semi-rural de la Costa Brava española, localizado en el seno de la región catalana del Empordà y en la costa mediterránea sur-europea. Participando de la diversidad de la inmigración en dicha localidad, los no-nacionales extra/europeos, a menudo reducidos al estatuto de trabajadores extranjeros de temporada y precarios, moran también en el pueblo, algunos de ellos desde bastante tiempo. En este espacio compartido, atravesado y rico en vidas complejas, la convivencia con el otro tiene lugar bajo varias compartimentaciones, vinculadas a posiciones sociales diferenciadas y al marketing de una pretendida autenticidad autóctona. Una lectura trans-escalar de las evoluciones espaciales y un enfoque biográfico sobre las experiencias humanas posibilitan una apreciación de las transformaciones contemporáneas del pueblo de Cadaqués, en el marco de la mundialización, y de las formas de co-habitar que resultan de ellas. Todo ello nos muestra un lugar constituido por el entramado secular de múltiples movimientos materiales e ideales. Además, Cadaqués también está constituido por las brechas que son negociadas entre los habitantes según lógicas comunitarias animadas por intereses variables, a pesar de desdichas y de aspiraciones existenciales comunes. El análisis de datos de esta tesis se fundamenta sobre una investigación cualitativa realizada en el contexto de un trabajo de campo etnográfico que ha incluido entrevistas a una amplia variedad de residentes, así como la recopilación de datos estadísticos, documentales (incluyendo prensa local) y cartográficos. Todo ello muestra un día a día animado por una pluralidad de universos. Los catalizadores geo-históricos de la notoriedad y la adhesión a procesos de globalización del pueblo de Cadaqués, así como los retos actuales de la copresencia heredada, se ven destacados por las migraciones ínter/nacionales. Este estudio de caso extendido interroga por consiguiente de forma distanciada, situada y ordinarizada, una participación de los inmigrantes en la localidad, a menudo considerada desde el medio urbano bajo los ángulos del etnicismo y del integracionismo metodológicos. Frente al aumento del racismo, el corto-plazo político y una democracidad cuestionable en cuanto a los derechos de vivir y de desplazarse en Europa y en Occidente, esta tesis sugiere la necesidad de un pensamiento prospectivo y utópico renovado, basado en una sociabilidad respetuosa y promotora de la alteridad y en una ciudadanía que permita tanto el anclaje como la movilidad. ; Cette thèse, qui vise la formalisation d'une géographie psycho-sociale, aborde le rôle de la psyché et de l'espace dans l'individuation et le rapport à l'autre, à travers l'habiter à Cadaqués, commune semi-rurale touristique de la Costa Brava espagnole, située au sein de la région catalane de l'Empordà, sur la côte méditerranéenne sud-européenne. Participant de la diversité immigrée locale, des non-nationaux extra/européens, souvent réduits au statut de travailleurs étrangers saisonniers et précaires, habitent aussi ce village, pour certains depuis longtemps. Dans cet espace partagé, traversé et riche de lignes de vies complexes, le vivre-ensemble avec autrui connaît pour autant divers compartimentages, liés à des positions sociales différenciées, et au marketing d'une prétendue authenticité autochtone. Une lecture trans-scalaire des évolutions spatiales et une approche biographique des expériences humaines permettent alors d'apprécier les transformations contemporaines du village dans la mondialisation, et les formes du co-habiter qui en résultent. Elles donnent à voir un lieu constitué de l'enchevêtrement séculaire de multiples mouvements matériels et idéels. Mais aussi des écarts, qui sont négociés entre les hommes selon des logiques communautaires mues par des intérêts variés, malgré des infortunes et des aspirations existentielles communes. L'analyse, qui s'appuie sur une enquête qualitative mobilisant un terrain ethnographique avec différents résidents interviewés, des données statistiques, de la presse locale, et l'outil cartographique, montre ainsi un quotidien animé par une pluralité d'univers. Les ferments géo-historiques d'une notoriété et d'une globalité villageoises et les enjeux actuels d'une coprésence héritée, sont mis en exergue par les migrations inter/nationales. Cette étude de cas étendue interroge donc de manière distanciée, située et ordinarisée, une participation des migrants à la localité plus souvent saisie en milieu urbain sous les angles de l'ethnicisme et de l'intégrationnisme méthodologiques. Face à une augmentation du racisme, un court-termisme politique, et une démocraticité discutable des droits à habiter et à se mouvoir en Europe et en Occident, cette thèse suggère la nécessité d'une pensée prospective et utopique renouvelée, sur une socialité respectueuse et promotrice d'altérité, et sur une citoyenneté associant ancrage et mobilité.

The current literature presents inconsistencies with regard to the 'Bright' and 'Dark Sides' of emotional labour and related emotion management strategies: it indicates that the negative effect of emotional labour cannot be explained on the basis of emotion management strategies alone and additional factors should be considered. The aim of this research was to investigate the 'Dark Side' of emotional labour in greater depth by: a) analysing constructs (emotion management strategies, cultural orientation and personality influences) which might be responsible for the discrepancies in emotional labour which result in positive and negative effects; b) verifying Machiavellian responses and investigating the social desirability effect in self-report measures; and c) examining sources of Machiavellian amoral values and behaviour. Emotional labour was examined from the perspective of intra-organisational relationships. The focus was upon Machiavellianism as the main construct of this research, it being in the forefront of each of the three studies conducted. Study one investigated the relationship between the elements of an ego-centric triad (Individualistic Cultural Orientation, Surface Acting and Machiavellianism) and the impact of that triad upon employees' states at work (well-being, career success, job satisfaction and turnover intentions). This study asked the following research questions: 'RQ1 - Is there a positive relationship between the elements (Individualistic Culture, Surface Acting and Machiavellianism) of an ego-centric triad?' and 'RQ2 - How does the triad impact upon employees' well-being, career success, job satisfaction and turnover intentions?' It was hypothesised that: (H1) there would be a positive relationship between the elements of the ego-centric triad; (H2) the ego-centric triad elements will have negative impact on employee well-being, (H3) Machiavellian personality traits will be more prevalent in males than females; (H4) Machiavellianism leads to greater career success; (H5) Machiavellians experience lower job satisfaction; and (H6) Machiavellians will demonstrate higher turnover intentions than their counterparts. The sample consisted of 319 UK-based working professionals who were recruited via the social media site LinkedIn. Participants completed an online questionnaire comprised of amended validated tools measuring levels of Surface Acting, Idiocentrism, Machiavellianism, participants' well-being, career success, job satisfaction and turnover intentions. The analysis focused on Independent Sample T-Test and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) - model fit testing. SEM revealed a positive correlation between the elements of the ego-centric triad. Nevertheless, the elements did not have a unified effect upon employees' states at work, as only Machiavellianism demonstrated a negative impact upon employees' well-being. Individualistic cultural orientation (Idiocentrism) was linked to decreased job satisfaction and increased turnover intentions, while Surface Acting had the opposite effect of decreasing turnover intentions. The main variable of interest - Machiavellianism - demonstrated a negative impact upon employees' well-being, career success and job satisfaction factors, all of which served as the mediating variables for increased turnover intentions. Furthermore, the independent sample T-Test showed that gender does not serve as an antecedent to Machiavellianism. The research contributes to existing theoretical knowledge by introducing the ego-centric triad and demonstrating that the 'Dark Side' of emotional labour cannot be attributed to emotion management strategies alone but includes additional factors such as cultural orientation (Idiocentrism) and personality traits (Machiavellianism). The research also has practical implications, demonstrating that recruitment and selection strategies should pay attention to these undesirable characteristics; as they have negative implications for individuals and organisations alike. Furthermore, organisations need to invest more efforts in management of employee well-being as emotional labour contributes to impaired well-being in high Machiavellians, who may not necessarily exhibit obvious signs. Study two aimed to establish the validity of Machiavellian responses and to ascertain the level of confidence that can be placed on the findings deriving from Study one. It asked the following question: 'RQ3 - Does the social attractiveness effect take place in anonymous self-reports when ego-centric qualities are of concern?' and hypothesised (H7) that Machiavellianism is positively related to self-rating bias, and therefore high Machiavellians will under-report their true level of amoral values and behavioural practices to a much greater extent than will low Machiavellians. Participant sample consisted of 16 UK-based working professionals who were asked to complete an online MACH IV test and to provide an e-mail sample of their workplace correspondence. One-way Anova was used to compare the scores from the MACH IV test against the scores deriving from Lingustic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC) analysis assessing Machiavellian attributes (use of personal pronoun 'I', negative emotions, analytic and clout dimension, power and rewards drives) evident within the workplace correspondence (e-mails). Therefore, the focus was upon reported versus observed levels of Machiavellianism. The results showed that individuals exhibited minor self-report bias at all levels of Machiavellianism (low, medium and high). Self-reported low Machiavellians demonstrated the lowest level of Machiavellianism (despite minor under-reporting), while self-reported medium Machiavellians demonstrated the highest level of Machiavellianism. Surprisingly, self-reported high Machiavellians demonstrated a medium level of Machiavellianism. Therefore, low and high Machiavellians under-reported, while medium Machiavellians over-reported their levels of amoral values and practice. The research findings support the notion of self-report bias and demonstrate that manipulative behaviour becomes acceptable in a workplace environment; as a result, high Machiavellians freely admit to their amoral values and behaviours. The research has also shown that self-reporting bias are evident across all levels of Machiavellianism. Therefore, whenever possible, objective measures should be included when investigating undesirable traits, values and behaviours. Study three investigated the sources of Machiavellian tendencies, their amoral values and behaviours by asking the following research question: 'RQ4 - Where do Machiavellian tendencies stem from? Are upbringing practices or organisational cultures responsible for employees' personal values and subsequent behaviour within an intra-organisational setting?' Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 15 participants (UK-based working professionals). The Mach IV test was employed to segment participants into high and low Machiavellians, while Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis was utilised to investigate the sources of amoral values between the two groups. The results showed that the amoral values of both groups derived from upbringing practices and have a tendency to mirror parental values. Additionally, such values are relatively stable over time and unaffected by the institutional values deriving from organisational culture. Therefore, organisational culture and institutional values do not possess the power to override morality related values. However, workplaces that allow the presence of organisational politics provide positive stimuli for Machiavellianism, enabling high Machiavellians to flourish while alienating low Machiavellians. Despite the control measure (continuous employment in an organisation for three years or more), the cross-sectional design served as a limitation and further research is required to validate these findings.

There is clear recognition by the international community that further work to enhance cooperation between law enforcement authorities is needed in order to coordinate global action against corruption.The causes and effects of corruption, and how to combat corruption, are issues that are increasingly on the national and international agendas of politicians and other policymakers. For example, the World Bank has relatively recently come around to the view that economic development is closely linked to corruption reduction (World Bank 1997) and there have been numerous anti-corruption initiatives in multiple jurisdictions (Heidenheimer and Johnston 2002; Preston and Sampford 2002). Moreover, the very recent Global Financial Crisis has revealed financial corruption, and spurred regulators to consider various anti-corruption measures by way of response.,,Corruption is the abuse of power by a public official for private gain''. No doubt the abuse of public offices for private gain is paradigmatic of corruption. But when a bettor bribes a boxer to ,,throw'' a fight this is corruption for private gain, but it need not involve any public office holder; the roles of boxer and bettor are usually not public offices.Corruption is both a major cause and a result of poverty around the world. It occurs at all levels of society, from local and national governments, civil society, judiciary functions, large and small businesses, military and other services and so on.Corruption affects the poorest the most, in rich or poor nations, though all elements of society are affected in some way as corruption undermines political development, democracy, economic development, the environment, people's health and more.Corruption is a complex social, political and economic phenomenon that affects all countries. Economic development is stunted because foreign direct investment is discouraged and small businesses within the country often find it impossible to overcome the ,,start-up cost'' required because of corruption.Corruption is now recognized to be one of the world's greatest challenges. It is a major hindrance to sustainable development, with a disproportionate impact on poor communities and is corrosive on the very fabric of society. The impact on the private sector is also considerable - it impedes economic growth, distorts competition and represents serious legal and reputational risks. Corruption is also very costly for business, with the extra financial burden estimated to add 10% or more to the costs of doing business in many parts of the world. The World Bank has stated that ,,bribery has become a $1 trillion industry''.The rapid development of rules of corporate governance around the world is also prompting companies to focus on anti-corruption measures as part of their mechanisms to protect their reputations and the interests of their shareholders. Their internal controls are increasingly being extended to a range of ethics and integrity issues and a growing number of investment managers are looking to these controls as evidence that the companies undertake good business practice and are well managed.The international legal fight against corruption has gained momentum in more recent times through the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions and through the entering into force of the first globally agreed instrument, the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) in December 2005. The United Nations is helping countries combat corruption as part of our broader, system-wide campaign to help bolster democracy and good governance. Corruption can only be tackled successfully through the will and commitment of leaders and decision-makers at all levels. When desperately needed development funds are stolen by corrupt individuals and institutions, poor and vulnerable people are robbed of the education, health care and other essential services. ; Статтю присвячено дослідженню особливостей міжнародного співробітництва в боротьбі зі злочинністю на універсальному рівні на прикладі боротьби з корупцією. У статті зазначено, що із середини 1970-х рр. ООН почала відігравати дедалі важливішу роль у забезпеченні ефективності співробітництва держав у боротьбі з корупцією. Антикорупційні зусилля органів ООН були спрямовані на формування універсального організаційно-правового механізму міжнародного співробітництва, що є стандартною формою організації співробітництва в боротьбі зі злочинністю. Такий механізм має в основі багатосторонній міжнародний договір, що передбачає створення відповідного органу конвенційного контролю за його дотриманням. Специфіка корупції передбачає залучення до боротьби з нею інших міжнародно-правових інструментів, що спрямовані на боротьбу з організованою злочинністю, відмиванням «брудних грошей» тощо, та створених на їх основі контрольних органів. Також досліджуваний механізм є водночас міжнародно-правовим і політичним. Це означає, що міжнародне співробітництво в боротьбі з корупцією спирається на засоби дипломатичного впливу, які широко використовують міжнародні міжурядові організації. Зокрема, ключове значення на універсальному рівні мають такі прийняті в межах ООН юридичні та політичні документи про боротьбу з корупцією: Міжнародний кодекс поведінки державних посадових осіб 1996 р., Декларація ООН про боротьбу з корупцією та хабарництвом у міжнародних комерційних операціях 1996 р., Конвенція ООН проти транснаціональної організованої злочинності 2000 р., Конвенція ООН проти корупції 2003 р. Сукупність цих актів складає своєрідну нормативно-правову основу універсального організаційно-правового механізму міжнародного співробітництва в боротьбі з корупцією.У статті зазначено, що міжнародне співробітництво в боротьбі з корупцією демонструє зразок сучасної універсальної моделі міжнародного співробітництва в боротьбі зі злочинністю та окремими її видами. Водночас звернено увагу на важливість досягнення принаймні мінімального рівня взаємодії всіх форм міжнародного співробітництва в боротьбі зі злочинністю. Підкреслюється, що належне виконання універсальною моделлю міжнародного співробітництва в боротьбі зі злочинністю й окре- мими її видами координуючої ролі у відносинах із регіональними механізмами боротьби зі злочинністю залишається проблематичним. Це жодним чином не принижує значення універсальної моделі та свідчить, скоріше, про потребу в чіткому визначенні універсальних і регіональних пріоритетів, у межах яких можлива ефективна координація міжнародної та міжнародно-правової співпраці.

The research work presented in this thesis aims at developing a permanent magnet based claw-pole machine for automotive application with permanent magnet reuse and recycle concept. The aforesaid research is under the aegis of Project DEMETER which is in the framework of European Union's Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions. The project focuses on the recovery of rare earth permanent magnets utilized in automotive applications due to the prevailing problems of price fluctuations and supply-demand issues of these permanent magnets.The claw-pole machine is employed in almost all of the automobiles in the world for alternator application. With the increase in power demands, the claw-pole machine is also being developed as a motor-generator utilized in the hybrid electric vehicles. At present the permanent magnet based claw-pole machine is being used in mild hybrid electric vehicles for energy savings. The literature is replete with various configurations of claw-pole machines that can be developed to achieve better performances. However, easy assembly and disassembly of various parts of the machine is also important for the reuse and recycle of magnets. In this research work two concepts have been developed; first, the direct reuse concept i.e. easy assembly/disassembly of the rotor and magnets, so as to easily take out the magnets for direct reuse or recycle and; second, the direct recycle concept i.e. utilization of recycled magnets in the machine to achieve the desired performance.In the course of this research the base design of the claw-pole machine was developed, analyzed and optimized so as to attain best torque versus magnet-weight ratio. This helped in the reduction of magnet cost for almost the same torque. The optimization was carried out using 3-D numerical analysis. The optimized model was developed in a way that the assembly process of the magnets and claw-poles remained the same. However, during disassembly the magnets can easily be withdrawn without disassembling the complete rotor; therefore utilizing these magnets for direct reuse in other applications or sent for recycling. In the direct recycle concept, the magnets used in the machine are recycled magnets with deteriorated performance. The type of recycling process is a strong determinant of the deterioration in performance of these recycled magnets. The aim of the direct recycle concept was to analyze the machine with virgin and recycled magnets, and evaluate the energy consumption of the machine under different drive cycles. It was observed that with utilization of recycled magnets in the claw-pole machine, the energy consumption was almost same as that of the machine with virgin magnets. Thus it can be concluded that for the permanent magnet based claw-pole machine, the utilization of recycled magnets is more sustainable for the environment as it can lead to consequential limits on the mining of rare earth materials. The price fluctuations and supply-demand problems can also be reduced with the increase in utilization of recycled magnets, albeit policy and norms are effectuated.The prototype of the machine with virgin magnets have been developed and tested for performance. It has been observed that the experimental results match fairly well with the design analysis results, hence validating the design process and methodology. ; Les travaux de recherche présentés dans cette thèse visent à développer une machine à griffes à base d'aimants permanents pour les applications automobiles avec un concept de réutilisation et de recyclage des aimants permanents. Ces recherches sont menées dans le cadre du projet DEMETER, qui s'inscrit dans le cadre des Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions dans Horizon 2020 de l'Union européenne. Le projet se concentre sur la récupération des aimants permanents à base de terres rares utilisés dans les applications automobiles en raison des problèmes actuels de fluctuation des prix et des problèmes d'offre et de demande de ces aimants permanents.La machine à griffes est utilisée dans presque toutes les automobiles du monde pour les applications d'alternateur. Avec l'augmentation de la demande en puissance, la machine à griffes est également développée en tant que moteur-générateur utilisé dans les véhicules électriques hybrides. Actuellement, la machine à griffes à base d'aimants permanents est utilisée dans des systèmes d'hybridation légère afin de réaliser des économies d'énergie. La littérature regorge de différentes configurations de machines à griffes pouvant être développées pour obtenir de meilleures performances. Cependant, le montage et le démontage facile des différentes parties de la machine sont également importants pour la réutilisation et le recyclage des aimants. Dans ce travail de recherche, deux concepts ont été développés; premièrement, le concept de réutilisation directe, c'est-à-dire le montage / démontage facile du rotor et des aimants, de manière à pouvoir retirer facilement les aimants pour les réutiliser ou les recycler directement; deuxièmement, le concept de recyclage direct, c'est-à-dire l'utilisation d'aimants recyclés dans la machine pour obtenir les performances souhaitées.Au cours de cette recherche, la conception de base de la machine à griffes a été développée, analysée et optimisée de manière à obtenir le meilleur rapport couple / poids aimant. Cela a permis de réduire le coût des aimants pour presque le même couple. L'optimisation a été effectuée en utilisant une analyse numérique en éléments finis 3D. Le modèle optimisé a été développé de manière à ce que le processus d'assemblage des aimants et des griffes reste le même. Cependant, lors du démontage, les aimants peuvent facilement être retirés sans démonter le rotor complet; et ainsi se servir de ces aimants pour les réutiliser directement dans d'autres applications ou les envoyer au recyclage. Dans le concept de recyclage direct, les aimants utilisés dans la machine sont des aimants recyclés aux performances dégradées. Le type de processus de recyclage est un facteur déterminant de la détérioration des performances de ces aimants recyclés. L'objectif du concept de recyclage direct était d'analyser la machine avec des aimants vierges et recyclés et d'évaluer la consommation d'énergie de la machine selon différents cycles de conduite. On a observé qu'avec l'utilisation d'aimants recyclés dans la machine à griffes, la consommation d'énergie était presque identique à celle de la machine à aimants vierges. On peut donc en conclure que pour les machines à griffes à aimants permanents, l'utilisation d'aimants recyclés est plus durable pour l'environnement car elle peut entraîner une diminution à l'extraction des matériaux de terres rares. Les fluctuations des prix et les problèmes d'offre peuvent également être réduits grâce à l'utilisation accrue des aimants recyclés, même si des politiques et des normes sont appliquées.Le prototype de la machine à aimants vierges a été fabriqué et testé pour ses performances. Il a été observé que les résultats expérimentaux correspondent très bien aux résultats des analyses de conception, validant ainsi le processus de conception et la méthodologie.
