In der betriebswirtschaftlichen Forschung und Ausbildung hat die Auseinandersetzung mit Diversität und Diversitätsmanagement in den letzten Jahren, nicht zuletzt aufgrund zahlreicher gesellschaftspolitischer Treiberfaktoren (demographische Veränderungen, Antidiskriminierungspolitik der EU-Staaten, gesetzliche Bestimmungen, etc.) stark an Bedeutung gewonnen. EntscheidungsträgerInnen erkennen dadurch zunehmend die Notwendigkeit sich mit Diversitätsphänomenen auseinanderzusetzen, um im konkreten organisationalen Kontext einen entsprechenden professionellen Umgang zu entwickeln. In this paper, I will explore how Estonian public schools are sharing information with their target groups on their websites. Nowadays we cannot ignore the importance of online channels in communication. Estonian public schools are using different limited-access online platforms and mailing lists to manage their communication. According to the fact that schools are public institutions, they need to be visible in public and schools' websites have become an integral part of school public communication. In Estonian context, schools' websites are also required by the law. The main purpose of this study is to map how public schools in Estonia address the information to their stakeholders and through that, represent themselves on their websites. The data is focused on the announcements of the first school day in Estonian basic schools, upper secondary schools, and gymnasiums (N=374). Results show that schools are using different ways to manage and present information on their web pages even though their target groups and stakeholders are similar to the wide picture.

"Under the umbrella term 'Responsible Leadership' a new research domain has emerged in recent
years. It takes on the normative challenges of leading responsibly in a complex and connected global
stakeholder society. We introduce 'Responsible Leadership' as a timely research domain by discussing,
firstly, some of the key challenges leaders face in an environment of contested values. We show, secondly,
why traditional leadership research is unable to meet these challenges and thus to provide
orienting knowledge on how to lead responsibly. Against this background we introduce, thirdly, some
of the key sources on research in 'Responsible Leadership' and conclude our article by sketching out
perspectives for research in leadership ethics, addressing emerging research needs and vistas." (author's abstract)

Considering social and political aspects of organizations, this paper emphasizes the importance of politics and relations of power in the interrelationship of group members in steering committees for the implementation of information systems (IS). This particular implementation entailed the creation of a steering committee, with the committee made up of employees from differing departments affected by the change and acting as representatives of their respective departments. Some committee members felt that there was a "forced" voluntary flavor to management's request for participants for the committee. In other words, they felt that they should volunteer before being volunteered for the committee. We analyze the case exploring the organizational politics and power dynamics involved including the role of Knowledge Gatekeepers and team group dynamics. Among those strategies, we consider the emergence of workthink, groupthink and cognitive dissonance and their impacts on the success or failure of the system implemented.

Museumsfachleute beobachten die zunehmende Bedeutung von publikumsorientierten Ausstellungen kritisch. Sie befürchten, dass der Bildungsauftrag zu Gunsten von Oberflächenreizen aufgegeben wird. Die Studie blickt einerseits kritisch-diagnostisch auf die gegenwärtige Ausstellungskultur. Besucherorientierte Konzepte mit narrativen, künstlerischen sowie partizipativen Ansätzen werden vorgestellt und diskutiert. Darüber hinaus thematisiert das Buch mit einer praktisch-produktiven Intention kommunikative Dimensionen musealer Präsentationen. Eine exemplarische Ausstellungsanalyse konkretisiert die theoretischen Überlegungen in der Praxis.

La ricerca scientifica ha dimostrato che la gestione della performance nelle amministrazioni pubbliche sta oggi spostando il proprio focus dalla mera attività di raccolta e rendicontazione di dati alla generazione di informazioni atte a supportare la formulazione di decisioni. L'analisi comparativa dei casi di studio analizzati in questo articolo mira ad identificare i fattori critici sottostanti alla progettazione e all'utilizzo dei sistemi di gestione della performance nelle amministrazioni regionali. Da questa analisi emerge che alcune variabili risultano essenziali ai fini di un'efficace adozione dei sistemi di performance management. Tra queste variabili sono annoverabili: il ruolo della legislazione, le doti di leadership degli amministratori, e le caratteristiche degli indicatori di performance adottati. Con questo lavoro ci si auspica di poter suscitare nel management delle amministrazioni regionali la consapevolezza che la leadership e le competenze professionali sono fattori decisivi per supportare una progettazione e adozione dei sistemi di gestione della performance, che vada oltre la ricerca dell'adempimento formale di prescrizioni normative. ; The literature has shown that the focus on performance management is shifting from collecting and reporting data to actually using them for decision making. The comparative case-study analysis presented in this article aims to identify the critical factors for adopting and implementing relevant performance management systems in regional governments. The evidence emerging from this casestudy analysis finds that certain variables are essential to advancing our progress in performance management, including the role of legislation, the need for leadership, and the characteristics of performance indicators. The hope of this research is to encourage regional administrators to embrace leadership roles in interpreting and applying legal frameworks for realizing the benefits of performance management.

The concept of innovation includes good ideas and smart individuals. One of the most important driving forces for innovative ideas is human diversity. Diversity is a broad concept that includes physical characteristics like race, gender, ethnicity, and social and political differences of opinions. In this study, the effect of different specialties of employees on innovation performances has been researched in the context of universities. Recognizing the link between diversity, creativity and innovation, the concept of academic entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly important due to the changing role of universities in knowledge-based economies. The research has been conducted by analyzing the academicians' profiles of the first and last 15 universities of the "Index of Entrepreneur and Innovative Universities" which is announced by TUBITAK, presenting the innovation performances of universities. The academicians' profiles have been analyzed through their diverse specialties and their relevance with the ranking of the universities. The diversity factors of academicians were determined as gender, title, educational background, overseas experience, and work experience because of resume database scanning. Data were analyzed for presenting the relationship between innovation performance and organizational diversity. As a result, there is a significant relationship between overseas experience, educational background, and innovation performances in universities. The construction industry is one of the least digitally advanced industries. Although the industry is project-based, a project-level assessment of digitalization is lacking. The aim of this paper is to develop a digitalization index to assess the degree of digitalization of construction projects. Relying on the outcomes of a workshop with 11 participants and questionnaire responses from 113 site managers in Sweden, four activities; visualized drawings and three-dimensional (3D) models on sites; updated drawings, models, and system documents; created and updated work disposition plans; and updated time resource plans were selected, and a digitalization index enabling a simple assessment of the degree of digitalization of construction projects was constructed based on the degree of digitalization of the data management processes involved in these four activities. The approach to determine the digitalization index was demonstrated in a case study of a new construction project. For future studies, an accurate and simple assessment of the degree of digitalization of projects should increase the opportunities to study the association between the degree of digitalization and project performance. Data Badan Pusat Statistik for August 2020 recorded that 138.22 million Indonesians are in the workforce, the unemployment rate reached 7.07%. The high number of unemployed hinders economic growth. So Indonesia must increase the number of entrepreneurs. This problem encourages the government to cooperate with Kementerian Riset dan Perguruan Tinggi to apply entrepreneurship courses in education curriculum. The program and its mechanisms are expected to encourage economic growth in Indonesia and create many jobs. The research objective was to determine the entrepreneurial perceptions of sixth semester management students of Universitas PGRI Madiun. This research is supported by various factors such as motivators, challenges and government support to start and maintain new businesses. This study also tries to see whether there are differences between gender, educational background, parents, and work experience as demographic factors with one's entrepreneurial intentions. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection using google form link questionnaire which was distributed to 337 students through class leaders. The data analysis used was descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that students of Universitas PGRI Madiun have a high enough intention to become entrepreneurs. Their greatest motivation is to increase income opportunities. Meanwhile, what is considered the biggest challenge in becoming an entrepreneur is funding. So, government support that is deemed urgently needed is to provide financial assistance.

Open government data portals can be a valuable source of diverse public-sector information, from lobbyist spending to water quality test results. They also have a lot of aging junk: little-used datasets with cryptic titles and scant documentation. The library domain has years of experience "weeding" out under-used or outdated materials, and our team brought that perspective to the Washington State open data portal (data.wa.gov/browse). But weeding open data turned out to be pretty complicated. What counts as "low quality" or "little" use? Who makes the weeding decision, in a publishing environment that's usually decentralized and managed anonymously? How do portals, created for transparency, remove content in a transparent way? We examined nearly all U.S. state and many U.S. city government portals and found very few formal data removal policies -- a void that raises questions about authority, usability and management, as many civic data portals enter their second decade. Supported by the Open Data Literacy project (https://odl.ischool.uw.edu/), this work is contributing to a new open data curation partnership between the Washington State Library and the state's data portal. The talk will cover our findings, recommendations from archivists and other public records experts, and how the Washington State Library and state agencies are working together to improve open data resources for the public.

Purpose: The study on the effect of career fulfilment practices on employee performance is still scanty in the human resource management domain. The objective of this study is to determine the effect of career fulfilment practices on employee performance in the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), Abuja-Nigeria. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study is a cross-sectional survey. Hence, researchers adopted the primary data approach of data collection. The population of the study is 400 (FCSC, 2021). Using Krijcie and Morgan (1970), the sample size is 196. The researchers increased the sample size by 50% based on Salkind's (1997) suggestion. Thus, the final sample size of the study is 294 using the stratified random sampling technique. The study administered 294 copies of the questionnaires and was used for the analysis. The returned questionnaires were inputted, coded, and screened using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 22 software. Analysis was carried out using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Findings: Findings showed that career fulfilment practices have a positive and significant effect on employee performance in FCSC, Abuja-Nigeria. Implications/Originality/Value: The study concluded that FCSC, Abuja-Nigeria, government, labour Unions and policymakers should promote career fulfilment practices that will improve employee performance in FCSC, Abuja.

The perceptions of the faculty members, school officials and students in terms of the implementation of the environmental education policies in the hinterlands of Northern Samar specifically in Silvino Lobos, Northern Samar were analyzed in this work. A positive response on waste reduction and management and a rejection on the use of plastics and individual bulk packaging of products from suppliers were manifested. Further perceived was the disliking of artesian well as the source of water agreed on the composting biodegradables and the segregating waste in academic institutions and proper sealing of hazardous wastes before disposal. Eight 8 environment themes were integrated in the curriculum specifically in Music, Health and Physical Education, English, Social Studies, Filipino, and Mathematics, which run counter to the non availability of a general policy on environment by the local government unit. Environmental policy must be reflected in the vision and mission of the local government unit, as the schools follow and implement certain operational standards that are environment friendly, and integrate environmental education in most of the subjects.
