The paper focuses on Nigeria, which has over the years invested substantially to improve the educational attainment of the labor force and to raise productivity but yet still faces declining real output and slow economic growth. The study observes that this puzzle is attributable to labor market distortions, redundancy of the workforce, benefit captured syndrome, industrial dispute and job discontinuities as well as leakages in the Nigerian society such as brain drain, among others. The paper further suggests the improvement of the education system, appropriate pricing of teachers labor and prevention of industrial disputes in order to upgrade and internalize the contributions of educational capital to economic growth in Nigeria.

ALTHOUGH THE USA AND MEXICO ARE PARTIES TO A BILATERAL EXTRADITION TREATY, THE USA FORCIBLY ABDUCTED ALVAREZ-MACHAIN WITHOUT INVOKING IT. THIS AND OTHER RECENT ABDUCTIONS HAVE CAUSED INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARS TO CONDEMN STATES, SUCH AS THE USA AND ISRAEL, FOR DISREGARDING INTERNATIONAL LAW AND THEIR BILATERAL EXTRADITION TREATIES. THIS BLATANT DISMISSAL OF EXISTING TREATIES CALLS FOR A SELF-EXECUTING MULTILATERAL EXTRADITION TREATY DEVOTED EXCLUSIVELY TO REGULATING STATE-SPONSORED KIDNAPPING AND ASSASSINATION.

In this essay, [the author] comments on the current philosophical debate on educational justice. He observes that while authors like Elizabeth Anderson and Debra Satz develop a so-called adequacy view of educational justice, Harry Brighouse and Adam Swift defend an egalitarian principle. Giesinger focuses his analysis on the main objection that is formulated, from an egalitarian perspective, against the adequacy view: that it neglects the problem of securing fair opportunities in the competition for social rewards. [The author] meets this objection by expressing two basic theses: First, he argues that Brighouse and Swift themselves fail to give an adequate account of fair competition; and, second, he shows that the adequacy view provides the theoretical resources to face this problem. The reality of Islamic Religious Education is that many problems still occur in schools today. Islamic Religious Education is often considered a boring subject and learning activity. Many factors can cause this, including the unprofessionalism of a PAI teacher or students who are less enthusiastic about studying religious knowledge. So, this study aims to find the problems of Islamic education and its solutions, especially in the quality of Islamic Religious Education teachers. The research method used is library research. The research results are that currently, the teacher is the bearer of the educational mission whose job is to teach based on specific scientific and academic qualities. Then, get material rewards from the state and or other education management parties in which the compensation is not by the energy expended. Several solutions can encourage efforts to improve the problems of these educators, namely (1) increased teacher work discipline and implementation of good learned plans through coached, trained, and workshops. (2) the government and the foundation where teachers serve should pay attention to the welfare of teachers, (3) teachers should study and practice to improve their abilities (4) PAI teachers should be teachers who have met the qualifications
Education has always been socially conditioned. On the one hand, everything that happens in society necessarily reflects on the education process, and on the other hand, all changes in education cause changes in society. Baština journal, which used to be published by the Institute for the Study of Culture of Serbs, Montenegrins, Croats and Muslims in Priština from 1991 to 1997, and by the Institute for Serbian Culture in Priština since 1998, which has now been based in Leposavić since 1999, publishes papers in the field of social and humanistic sciences. These papers most often discuss topics in the field of Literature, History, History of Culture, Ethnology, Political Science and Sociology, and occasionally in the field of Ethnomusicology, Demography, Archeology, Art, Art History, Language, Literature and Aesthetics, while one journal issue published a special topic - Vladeta Vuković's Works. The journal has so far also included Discussions and Review, Chronicles and Composition. In this paper, the coauthors investigate the representation of education-related topics, as well as the character, scope and intensity of these topics in the Baština Journal from the first edition in 1991 to the latest edition in 2020. A retrospective study of scientific and professional papers showed that a total of 63 papers were published that directly and indirectly study education, primarily in the field of the history of pedagogy, general pedagogical topics and other education-related issues. These topics were mostly published within the History of Culture pillar. As a separate topic, Education was present only in two issues in 2007 and in one issue in 2009 and in the last two issues in 2020 within the Pedagogy course.
This article proffers a critical discussion on the right to basic education in South Africa. It argues that access to basic education is society's crucial developmental aspect. Further that minimal or lack of commitment and respect for education largely impact adversely on the realization of Millennium Development Goals, and constitute a recipe for disaster in any country. The article is a product of distress subsequent to a dismal experience resultant from a failure by Limpopo Department of Basic Education to honour and carry out its obligations of providing and delivering textbooks. Provision of textbooks to schools constitute state's non-derogable duty which is indispensable in reinforcing the transformative ideals of the Constitution, that aid the commitment of realizing the right to basic education and uplifting societal literacy. It is argued that nationwide workshops and campaigns ought to be carried out in view of propagating for respect, care and commitment to deliver quality basic education to the populace. Further that there exists a desperate need for a reinforced system that ensures quality leadership and accountability for the progressive realization of this essential right.
