En el presente artículo ensayamos una revisión historiográfica de los estudios que se han realizado sobre "trabajadores durante la última dictadura militar" (1976-1983). Para ello proponemos una periodización dividiendo el conjunto de artículos y trabajos en tres momentos. Un primer momento marcado por aquellos estudios que se produjeron sobre el ocaso de la dictadura hasta finales de los años '80; un segundo "momento" que abarca la década de los '90 completa, y un tercer "momento" que se abriría a principios del siglo XXI. Analizamos los diferentes abordajes, los debates que subyacen en las lecturas de la problemática, los ejes más controvertidos y aquellos que han atravesado los tres momentos. ; In this article we make an historiographical revision about "workers during the last military dictatorship" (1976-1983). We propose a periodization by dividing the whole studies in three moments. In the first moment we include those articles written during the military dictatorship`s end until the late eighties; a second "moment" contain the whole nineties decade; and the third moment is open in the beginning of XXI`s century. The coup d'état, so-called, which, on January 6, 1929, brought into being a new form of government and established a new type of constitutional régime in the kingdom of the Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, marked the end of exactly a decade of experimentation with the traditional principles of parliamentary government. That this "critical period" had not been an unqualified success is admitted by statesmen, diplomats, and politicians alike; that it was abruptly ended by the personal intervention of King Alexander and the supercession of the Vidov-dan constitution is equally a matter of fact. From Zagreb to Belgrade the passing of the political order which had obtained in the triune kingdom since 1918 has brought general rejoicing; outside the country, however, the queries have been raised: Is the change indicative of the future fate of all democracies, and have not the doctrines of fascism, of military dictatorship, of camarilla government, simply been transplanted to the Yugoslav capital from Rome and Madrid respectively?The situation is not to be understood merely by drawing hasty conclusions as to the prospective demise of democratic or parliamentary government everywhere, nor is it possible to speak, with any scientific accuracy, of the new régime in the Serb-Croat-Slovene state as a Balkan adaptation of the Italian and Iberian dictatorships. The occurrence of this constitutional change in the life of the Yugoslav people has its own distinctive raison d'être and does not flow from mere facile imitation of dictatorial practices in other countries.

This work is intended to crisis the widespread idea that women have only been victims or, in the worst case, acquiescent witnesses, passive complicit in the violence of the latest Argentinian military dictatorship. According to the author, culture in general and theatre in particular reproduce this idea by omitting the leading role of women in such repressive practices. To this end, the author focuses his analysis on three works by Eduardo Pavlovsky: Mr Galíndez, including Tercero and Potestad. ; Este trabajo pretende poner en crisis la idea generalizada de que las mujeres sólo han sido víctimas o, en el peor de los casos, testigos aquiescentes, cómplices pasivas de la violencia de la última dictadura militar argentina. Según la autora, la cultura en general y el teatro en particular reproducen esta idea al omitir el protagonismo femenino en dichas prácticas represivas. Para ello, la autora focaliza su análisis en tres obras de Eduardo Pavlovsky: El señor Galíndez, Tercero incluido y Potestad.

This article proposes a theoretical framework to understand the forms of intervention in the public space that is development on the part of the social movement and political resistance to the military dictatorship already installed in Chile between 1973 and 1989. The social movement, the resistance and the political violence are issues which cross the tensions that had to deal with the military regime; then we installe a series of theoretical posibilities that help us to understand the political and social fracture more relevant of the chilean republican history, collecting diversity of looks from differents disciplines to analyze the recent past of the country. ; Este artículo propone un marco teórico para comprender las formas de intervención en el espacio público que se desarrolló durante la dictadura militar instalada en Chile entre 1973 y 1989. El movimiento social, la resistencia y la violencia política son cuestiones que cruzan las tensiones que hubo de enfrentar el régimen militar; instalamos entonces una serie de posibilidades teóricas que ayuden a comprender la fractura política y social más relevante de la historia republicana chilena, recogiendo diversidad de miradas desde distintas disciplinas para analizar el pasado reciente del país.

This article reviews the first decade of Revista Chilena de Literatura (1970-1980), a period in which this publication shows notable changes from its foundational purposes. Through the reading of some articles about Chilean authors and their literary works, it has been possible to identify and interpret theoretical and methodological changes present in these articles, along the impact that both the Unidad Popular as well as the coup and the military dictatorship played in these changes. Taking into account these changes, the relation that the magazine had with its context and the strategies to re-position itself in the Chilean academic landscape in dictatorship are evaluated, thereby approaching formats likely to appear in fields related to scientific communication. ; Este artículo revisa la primera década de la Revista Chilena de Literatura (1970-1980), periodo en el que esta publicación manifiesta notorias modificaciones respecto a sus propósitos fundacionales. Lo que se realiza es una lectura de algunos artículos sobre autores y obras literarias chilenos, en la cual se identifican e interpretan los cambios teóricos y metodológicos presentes en dichos artículos y la incidencia que tanto la Unidad Popular, como el golpe y la dictadura militar tienen en tales modificaciones. Ante los cambios evidenciados, se evalúa la relación que tuvo la revista con su contexto y las estrategias que utilizó para resituarse en el panorama académico chileno durante la dictadura acercándose con ello a formatos propios del circuito de comunicación científica.

Objective: to analyze the use given to the image of Gustavo Rojas Pinilla for the regime's propaganda during the time of his dictatorship: June 13th 1953 to May 10th 1957. Methodology: qualitative from a documentary strategy (archives, press and official publications). Images from Gustavo Rojas Pinilla, that were produced or published in the studied period were selected, same that were then described, analyzed and interpreted. Results: from the beginning of the dictatorship, Gustavo Rojas Pinilla used his image as propaganda for the political régime to create popular consensus through references to peace and progress, which lead to a populist iconography that purposefully used images of Simón Bolívar and Jesus Christ. The strategy was applied by the Office for the State's Information and Propaganda (Oficina de Información y Propaganda del Estado (ODIPE) in Colombia and, in a way, internationally supported by the Hamilton Wright Organization. Conclusions: even if the publication of his image was done by force, its use as political propaganda in the dictatorship worked out for the moment, as it was designed to impact on several sectors of society who were mostly illiterate. © Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Sociales. ; Objetivo: analizar el uso que tuvo la imagen de Gustavo Rojas Pinilla como propaganda de su régimen durante el periodo que duró su dictadura: 13 de junio de 1953 a 10 de mayo de 1957. Método: cualitativo desde la estrategia documental (archivo, prensa y publicaciones oficiales). Se seleccionaron imágenes de Gustavo Rojas Pinilla, que hubiesen sido producidas o divulgadas en el periodo estudiado, las cuales fueron descritas, analizadas e interpretadas. Resultados: desde el inicio de la dictadura, Gustavo Rojas Pinilla utilizó su imagen como propaganda del régimen para crear un consenso popular por medio de alusiones de paz y progreso, constituyendo una iconografía populista que empleó intencionalmente referencias a Simón Bolívar y Cristo. La estrategia fue encaminada desde la Oficina de Información y Propaganda del Estado (ODIPE) en Colombia, y apoyada de cierta manera por la Hamilton Wright Organization en el ámbito internacional. Conclusiones: si bien la circulación de su imagen se dio de manera impuesta, su uso como propaganda política en la dictadura funcionó acertadamente en ese momento, pues fue diseñada para impactar a varios sectores de la sociedad que en su mayoría eran analfabetas. © Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Sociales.

AbstractThis article analyzes recent Brazilian scholarship on workers and trade unions during the military dictatorship (1964–1985), emphasizing the relative absence of studies and the neglect of worker organization. By focusing on working-class agency and the dilemmas the labor movement faced due to the regime's economic policies and fierce repression, this essay offers a better understanding of the political scenario after 1964. The second part of the article examines the themes of the most recent studies about workers and the labor movement during the military regime, emphasizing existing blind spots and future challenges for scholarship.

The study matter of this research is the corpus of art criticisms written by Sonia Quintana, Víctor Carvacho and Ana Helfant since 1977 to 1982. These art critics were highly active during these years of Chilean dictatorship and supported the government by producing art criticisms in national circulation magazines and newspapers. Through their writings it is possible to observe how they spread a discourse about art, using their political position and influence which resulted in not only an open support to the regime, but also the incorporation of works of art of the resistance avant-garde. This kind of negotiations allow questions about how official and non-official art field were connected in different forms and not always was the two fields separated spheres as historiography of Chilean art has told. ; El tema de estudio de esta investigación es el corpus de críticas de arte escritas por Sonia Quintana, Víctor Carvacho y Ana Helfant desde 1977 hasta 1982. Estos críticos de arte fueron muy activos durante estos años de dictadura chilena y apoyaron al gobierno mediante la producción de críticas de arte en revistas y periódicos de circulación nacional. A través de sus escritos, es posible observar cómo difunden un discurso sobre el arte, utilizando su posición e influencia política que dio como resultado no solo un apoyo abierto al régimen, sino también la incorporación de obras de arte de la resistencia vanguardista. Este tipo de negociaciones permiten preguntas acerca de cómo se conectaron los campos del arte oficial y no oficial en diferentes formas, y no siempre fueron esferas separadas, como lo ha contado la historiografía del arte chileno.

La política represiva ejecutada por la última dictadura militar instauró una profunda desarticulación del campo teatral y obligó a las prácticas escénicas y a los espacios de formación teatral a reinventar sus modos de producción y asociación. En este contexto, las intervenciones pedagógicas desarrolladas por autores como Osvaldo Dragún y Ricardo Monti resultaron decisivas para pensar la emergencia de nuevos procedimientos en materia de escritura teatral. Estas experiencias fundacionales tienen su continuidad en el desarrollo de los talleres de escritura teatral que se suceden durante el período democrático. En el siguiente artículo nos proponemos indagar en los procesos de enseñanza desarrollados por Ricardo Monti durante el gobierno de facto y en las propuestas de taller que se llevaron adelante dentro del ciclo Teatro Abierto 1985. Ambas instancias fueron eslabones significativos en el proceso de autonomización de los talleres de formación dramatúrgica respecto de los talleres de actuación y contribuyeron al reconocimiento de la escritura dramática como un tipo de disciplina portadora de saberes específicos. ; The political repression carried out by the last military dictatorship in Argentina produced a profound disarticulation of the theatre field, forcing stage practices and theatrical training spaces to reinvent their modes of production and association. In this context, the pedagogical interventions of authors such as Osvaldo Dragún and Ricardo Monti developed new procedures in the field of theater writing. These experiences were followed by the playwriting workshops that took place during the democratic period. In the following article we describe the teaching processes developed by Ricardo Monti during the military government and the workshop proposals carried out within the Teatro Abierto 1985. Both places became focal points in the process of autonomization of playwriting training from the drama training workshops and contributed to the recognition of playwriting as a type of discipline that carries a knowledge that's specific and different from that achieved in acting practices or stage directions learning.

Tanto los planes de ordenamiento territorial como las grandes infraestructuras fueron considerados dentro de la ideología desarrollista como soluciones técnicas a problemas definidos objetivamente. Esta pretendida neutralidad que se les ha asignado deriva de la pretendida neutralidad tecno-científica moderna y ha invisibilizado la condición intensamente política de los mismos. Asimismo, ha posibilitado que se promuevan indistintamente por diferentes sectores políticos sin modificaciones sustanciales en los proyectos. El artículo propone un análisis en perspectiva histórica de dos proyectos estatales que abarcaron varias décadas del siglo XX, pero cuyo mayor auge tuvo lugar durante la última dictadura militar (1976- 1983). En general, pretendemos destacar la condición política e histórica de los objetos técnicos, y en particular, colocar en relieve las estrategias específicas de apropiación política y simbólica que el gobierno dictatorial realizó sobre los dos proyectos en cuestión. ; Large infrastructures and territorial plans were considered by the ideology of Developmentalism as technical solutions to problems objectively defined. This so-called neutrality stems from the modern assumption about techno-scientific neutrality, and it has overshadowed the intensely political status of the aforementioned infrastructures and territorial plans. It also allowed their promotion by different political sectors without significant changes in the projects. The article proposes an historical analysis of two State projects which extended over several decades of the 20th century, with major boost during the last military dictatorship (1976-1983). In general, we aim to highlight the political and historical status of technical objects. This article deals with representations of Youth in Humor magazine during the period of Military Dictatorship (1976-1983). We study the ways this collective Subject was present in the magazine from its primary humoristic language but, as well, we examine their "serious" discursive forms like Essays, Art and Media Critique and Political Analysis. To do this, we inquired a corpus composed of texts, cartoons and illustrations. The selected materials for this study cover the years 1979-1983. Conclusions highlights that Humor opened spaces of participation for youngsters, brought in some of them and tended to reflect a nonconformist and critical Youth model in a context of closure of other spaces of socialization. Likewise, we demonstrated that juvenile identity in Humor was organized around rock music, the subject of a specific section of relevance, coordinated by a young collaborator. With the crisis of the dictatorship, would emerge polemically the interrogation on Youths role in face of future recovery of democratic regime, but the debate shared between "apolitical" and "compromised" youngsters and adults did not lead to convergent positions. ; El presente artículo aborda las representaciones sobre los y las jóvenes contenidas en la célebre revista Humor durante el periodo de la última dictadura militar (1976-1983). Se estudia el modo en que fue abordado este sujeto colectivo desde su materia humorística primordial pero, asimismo, desde las formas discursivas "serias" del ensayo, la crítica de medios, musical y artística y el análisis político. Para ello, se indaga un corpus compuesto por textos escritos, humor gráfico e ilustración de notas. Los materiales seleccionados para este estudio comprenden el periodo 1979-1983. Las conclusiones subrayan que la revista abrió espacios de participación de los y las jóvenes, incorporó a algunos a su staff y tendió a reflejar en sus páginas un modelo de juventud inconformista y crítica en un contexto de clausura de otros espacios de socialización. Asimismo, que la identidad juvenil en Humor se organizó alrededor del rock, objeto de una sección importante coordinada por una joven colaboradora. Con la crisis de la dictadura, emergería polémicamente el interrogante por el rol juvenil en el futuro escenario democrático, sin que el debate entre jóvenes y adultos "apolíticos" y "comprometidos" encontrara posiciones convergentes.

The following article aims at placing General Augusto Pinochet's military dictatorship in Chile as a field study for the development and positioning of a new political history focused on people's actions. For that purpose, we characterize the new political history and, at the same time, we propose some topics to be inquired and reflected on, such as political culture and political violence. ; El siguiente artículo pretende situar el período de la dictadura militar del General Augusto Pinochet en Chile como campo de estudio para el desarrollo y posicionamiento de una nueva historia política, centrada en el accionar de los sujetos. Para aquello, caracterizamos la nueva historia política y, al mismo tiempo, proponemos a manera de reflexión algunos temas para su indagación, tales como la cultura política y violencia política.

Este trabajo busca analizar los posicionamientos de la Cámara Argentina de la Construcción (CAC) respecto a la última dictadura militar argentina. El golpe militar de 1976 fue recibido con expectativa y esperanza por parte de la CAC, máxima representante de las empresas de la construcción en ese período y una de las entidades patronales más poderosas del país. Sin embargo, a medida que avanzó el "Proceso", el vínculo entre la CAC y el gobierno militar se volvió cada vez más conflictivo. En esta línea, interesa indagar el modo en que la Cámara fue posicionándose y negociando frente a la batería de políticas de la última dictadura, y en qué medida estos\n\nposicionamientos dieron cuenta de las demandas y necesidades más generales del sector durante el período.

UID/HIS/04666/2019 ; The indigenous question in Brazil has its own symbology that goes deep into the roots of the national narrative and story of self-representation. Many times, along the XX century was used with different governmental objectives of propaganda and auto promotion, resource that reached at is maximum during the civil-military dictatorship born in 1964. This paper analyzed the use of the indigenous question during this period from the study of the press, institutional and social organizations publications and with the political speeches made in the Camara dos Deputados. It seems that the military government made an intense propaganda around the indigenist policy to hide the cruelty of the Amazon occupation. This discourse was fought back for the regime opposition that, aiming the support of the indigenous people, turn the indigenous question in an ideological battle where the indigenous represents the Brazilian society desires of freedom and democracy. This symbolic wage impacted the struggle of the indigenous people, adapting to the new representation born from this political use. ; publishersversion ; published
