[8] p. ; A ballad in the form of a mock litany stairizing the army and Parliament. ; The principal author of Mercurius melancholicus (1647-1649) was John Hackluyt; but rival periodicals with the same name sporadically appeared, one by John Crouch, another by Martin Parker and John Taylor. The anti-Presbyterian tone of this ballad denies Hackluyt's authorsip but is quite suitable to the verse of Crouch, Parker, or Taylor. ; Place of publication from Wing. ; Reproduction of original in Thomason Collection, British Library.
Betriebliche Sozialpolitik konnte im Fall der Firma H.C. Meyer jr. The published article represents a review of the monograph by S.M.Khenkin Spain: Modern Unstable Society. The monograph examines Spain's experience at the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries, as a country that, due to historical circumstances, faces instability and unpredictability of development (so typical in the modern world) in an especially acute and concentrated manner. Khenkin identifies and describes, one by one, factors that characterize and explain the unstable state of the modern Spanish socio-political system, consistently integrating the current issues into the general context of the historical development of the Spanish society, its political and cultural traditions and comparing what is happening there with the situation in other European countries. Based on his research, he comes to the conclusion that several acute and persistent socio-political conflicts make high instability a distinctiveness of the country's life. In the monograph the author provides careful and multilateral analysis of the transition from Francoism to consolidated democracy; various aspects of the ongoing transformations in the society; the specifics of the Spanish party-political system and its evolution; national-regional issue. He documents a radical change in the sentiments in the Spanish society with the appearance of a new generation, which clearly manifested in the reassessment of the transition, with harsh criticism replacing earlier approval, and in the conflict around "historical memory". The author analyzes the relationship between the central government of the country and regional separatists and does not see any prospects for a prompt resolution of the conflict. According to his reasoned assessment, separation from Spain of any of its regions will inevitably cause irreparable damage to all parties to the conflict.
International audience ; This article looks at the diversity of news pratices of young people. From our 2014 qualitative inquiry of 33 young french people aged 15 to 20, we discuss news pratices of the young with "Maghreb immigrant origin" and of the other young, "natives". We successively examine interest in news, type of access, making a distinction between exposure and volontary approach, combinaison of media, and news receipt. Our results suggest, for the young "coming of Maghreb", a strong appetence for new, an intensity of their news pratices, an use of a plurality of information supports and a critical reading of news, that is unlike the news pratices of the other youth. We conclude by emphasizing the importance of taking both the media and political contexts to study news pratices of all of the youth.

The 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes were widely supported by fans at fan events like conventions and on online platforms. I discuss how this opened up larger questions about the relevance of fan labor for the industry and blurred lines between creators and fans, and why scholars of fan studies (and beyond) are directly impacted by the strikes' outcome.
This Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for the Republic of Belarus covers the period FY18–22. It is aligned with the objectives of the Program of Activities of the Government of the Republic of Belarus 2016–2020 and is based on the findings of a World Bank Group Systematic Country Diagnostic (SCD). The CPF aims to support sustainable and inclusive growth and improve living standards and is aligned with the World Bank Group's twin goals of eliminating extreme poverty and boosting shared prosperity. The CPF puts forward a program that is calibrated to the likely pace of policy reforms but adaptable to any changes. The CPF builds on the FY18 SCD. The SCD shows that a sustainable improvement in living standards will require economic, social, and institutional transformation, with an enhanced role for market forces and strengthened safety nets. The CPF focuses on the nexus between the SCD, Government priorities, the World Bank Group's comparative advantage, and ongoing programs. The purpose of the FY18–22 CPF is to support sustainable and inclusive growth and improve living standards by focusing on three interlinked focus areas: a) creating opportunities for private sector to grow and for more efficient public investment; (b) maintaining the country's human capital edge; and (c) improving the contribution of infrastructure to climate change management, economic growth, and human development. The CPF has continuity places greater emphasis on economic management, human capital development, and the environmental, economic and human development outcomes from infrastructure investment.
