Salbuespeneko egoeretan, dela egoera koiunturala (egungo krisi
ekonomikoa), dela egiturazkoa (premiagatik justifikatuta dauden larrialdiko neurriak),
gehienetan, baina ez beti, Zuzenbide Estatutuaren printzipio funtsezkoetara
jotzen da. Ameriketako Estatu Batuetako Epaitegi Gorenaren jurisprudentziaren
gaur egungo errealitatearen edo une gailurren adibideak aztertzen dira. It is pointed out that in exceptional circumstances, either from
a temporary point of view (current economic crisis) or from a structural point of
view (emergency measures justified by reasons of necessity), is normally affected
albeit not necessarily the same principles of the Rule of Law. Some current real
examples or key moments in United States¿ Supreme Court case law are provided.
This article aims to situate medieval South Asia in the broader taxonomy of frontier types and to identify it as a region that was neither wholly sedentary nor wholly pastoral but rather a place where internal frontier zones existed between these two ecological types. From the twelfth century onward, these zones were invigorated by the growing resources of mobile warriors, pastoralists, and merchants. Hence, state-building increasingly hinged on spanning the divide between arid jungle and humid arable land.
The construction of silence Concerns about juvenile crime and juvenile justice have attracted the most intense public interest in Australia over recent years. This has come about largely as a result of a deep sense of public concern over a 'law and order crisis' generated by 'rising juvenile crime', 'crime waves', 'youth gangs' and so forth, as well as from more general worries associated with the social problems of homelessness, teenage suicide and youth unemployment (Polk 1993, Presdee 1990, Cunneen & White 1995).
INGLEHART'S "SILENT REVOLUTION" THESIS IS EXAMINED CRITICALLY THROUGH AN ANALYSIS OF AN EXPERIMENTAL BRITISH SURVEY OF SUBJECTIVE ATTITUDES TOWARD THE "QUALITY OF LIFE". INGLEHART'S TECHNIQUES WERE REPLICATED TO IDENTIFY "ACQUISITIVE" AND "POST-BOURGEOIS" TYPES. DISCUSSION IS CRITICAL OF THE MASLOVIAN ASSUMPTIONS OF INGLEHART'S MODEL AND PROPOSES INSTEAD ONE BASED UPON IDENTITY AND STATUS DISCREPANCIES.
