The colonial conquests of the European nation-state and the ascendance of science and technology within European society characterize the modern era. Among those French writers who ventured into the non-European world, Eugène Fromentin, Victor Segalen, André Gide, and Michel Leiris saw how a politics of representation inheres in the literary task of describing the world peoples. In questioning the limits of their worldview and their aesthetic training, as well as the limits of European knowledge, these writers begin to articulate new forms of literary description. In their works, description emerges as a multi-tiered forum of representation in which epistemological and aesthetic thinking conditioned by an ethical principle shapes textual practice. Ethnographic textual production forms the outward limit of what these literary writers consider aesthetic. In their minor tradition, these writers move beyond the picturesque for more ethically minded descriptions of world peoples.

Cyberbullying is a relatively new phenomenon associated with the widespread adoption of various digital communication technologies, including the internet and mobile phones. As of 2013, nearly 20% of youths in grades 9–12 in the US reported being traditionally bullied in face-to-face encounters while almost 15% reported being cyberbullied (Kann et al., 2014). Bullying victimization is associated with a variety of behavioral and psychological effects, from becoming bullies
themselves (i.e., bully-victims), to poor academic performance, depression and suicidal ideation (Nansel et al., 2001; Wang, Nansel, & Iannotti, 2011; Willard, 2007). Research on these phenomena has focused primarily on white youth, leaving a void in our understanding of how cyberbullying has affected youth of color. This narrative literature review addresses this oversight by providing an overview of recent cyberbullying research that focuses on Hispanic, Asian and black adolescents (k=15). We found that youth of color appear to be less likely to experience cyberbullying than
white youth but they experience suicidal ideation and attempts at about the same rates when they do experience cyberbullying. (author's abstract)

With the growing frequency and quantity of clothing purchases, the elimination rate of waste clothing is increasing. Many researchers have contributed to the topic of the recycling and reuse of waste clothing, and therefore many related literature reviews are emerging. The current reviews only focus on waste textile recycling and waste-clothing life-cycle evaluation. The topic of waste-clothing recycling itself is ignored. In this article, we propose a systematic review of the recycling and reuse of wasted clothes. Firstly, we summarize the existing methods of waste-clothing collection and recycling and the related recycling technology, and discuss their advantages and disadvantages. The involved literatures are journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers selected from Google Scholar and Web of Science. Citespace software, as a literature visualization tool is used for the analysis. Based on this review, the low efficiency of waste-clothes recycling can be attributed to poor organization from a management aspect. From a consumer perspective, because of the differences in understanding among consumers about waste-clothing recycling, the existing clothing-recycling system cannot be fully utilized. The results of this review provide reference for further research on waste-clothing recycling, and make suggestions for the relevant governmental/industrial development strategies.

The notion of "the problematic" has changed its meaning within the history of power and knowledge since the early 20th century, leading up to today's performative, neocybernetic fascination with generalized management ideas and technocratic models of science. This book explores central scenes, conceptual elaborations, and practical affiliations of what historically has been called "the problem" or "the problematic". By way of considering modes of problematization as modes of inhabitation, intervention, and transformation the contributions map its current conceptual-political uses as well as onto-epistemological challenges. Thus, "problematization" is positioned as a critical concept that links, often in intricate ways, several currents from speculative philosophy to the formation of interdisciplinary fields. The "problematic", as it turns out, has been the source of change in philosophy and the sciences all along.

Die Verfasserin setzt sich mit zwei Phasen der Vertriebenenforschung auseinander. Sie behandelt zunächst die Literatur aus den 50er Jahren und zeigt, dass insbesondere die Inhalte, zuweilen jedoch auch die Formulierungen dieser "frühen" Forschungen einen Gesellschaftsbegriff erkennen lassen, den die betreffenden Autoren bereits in ihren volkskundlichen Publikationen zur Zeit des Nationalsozialismus entwickelt hatten und der an die Vorstellungswelt von einer "deutschen Volksgemeinschaft" anknüpft. Die zweite Phase betrifft die 80er Jahre und wird von einem Gesellschaftsbild bestimmt, das sich an Dahrendorfs "Homo sociologicus" orientiert. Methodisch stehen die sekundäranalytische Lebensverlaufsanalyse sowie qualitativ-biographische Ansätze im Vordergrund. Die Verfasserin plädiert abschließend für eine Forschungsperspektive, die in der Tradition Webers und Parsons' danach fragt, wie Integrationsprozesse im Spannungsfeld der gesellschaftlichen Handlungsfelder Beruf und Kultur verlaufen. The DIRESOC project is implemented by members of Irene network, composed of independent experts' organizations and individuals: universities, research centers, NGOs, trade unions, consultants etc. Their work is focused on the social and economic dimensions of corporate restructuring in Europe. WP1 - Literary review and experts' interviews. It's tasks are: to collect the existing data on the digitalisation in the 4 sectors between the EU countries and to explain the terms in which national debate on digitalisation and its impacts for labor markets and companies is formulated by different stakeholders. The first step of this WP is the literature review. The data source is mainly desk research: different policy of stakeholders's documents ( reports, position papers and so on), statistics, academic and managerial literature etc. Sectoral source should be used in order to give an overview of the specific situation in each of the 4 sectors to consider in research:Tourism, Financial services ( bank/insurance), Postal services (extended to delivery services) and Manufacturing industries. Each national case for WP1 include at least 12 interviews. The interviews are recorded and in some cases transcribed.
