Upon its entry to the European Union, Bulgaria was presented with the challenge of intensive interaction with foreigners, so, speaking fluently several languages became a must. This paper presents a software application aiming to improve the process of language learning. The proposed solution, specializing in vocabulary augmentation, supports entry of word meanings, image suggestions, conjugation, examinations and statistics, searching and filtering. Each feature is carefully selected to target a particular need while studying within a language course or on one's own. This paper also demonstrates how freely available resources on the Internet and a little programming effort can be combined to produce a useful tool for daily use.

Digital Technology is becoming ever more used by people with learning disabilities for information, entertainment and to enjoy self-expression. Despite this, there is a paucity of research into how this cohort negotiate electronic interfaces, interpret images, navigate pages and read online; what barriers there might be, and how these could be obviated. This book explores these issues, establishing how these and other factors facilitate or inhibit information access and behaviour more generally. There are plenty of guidelines and accessibility standards regarding electronic information presentation, but most are outdated or have been formulated without empirical evidence. Unlike prior literature this book is the result of many years's research in the field, considers specific information contexts, and develops new concepts in information behaviour. It is written in non-technical, jargon-free language, relevant for academics, students and professionals; from human-computer interaction researchers, learning disability specialists and information scientists to formal and informal carers and supporters, college tutors, family members and others
Previous research has highlighted the need to examine the appropriateness of existing information systems methods in the context of electronic business environments. This paper argues for a re‐examination of the suitability of current planning practices in light of the complexity of developing electronic business systems. In particular, the paper illustrates that planning and developing business‐to‐business electronic trading systems (ETS) is fraught with difficulties associated with the priorities and power of individual actors in participant organisations. The authors discuss triple loop learning (TLL), an approach that deals with diverse requirements and power issues, and argue that it may assist in overcoming some of the problems identified. The study aims to analyse the theoretical usefulness of the concepts of triple loop learning in the context of planning inter‐organisational ETS. Using the data gathered from case studies of three inter‐organisational networks, the authors argue that approaches associated with TLL can offer insight into managing inter‐organisational systems complexities, and can thereby enhance planning methods for ETS.
Considers EDI for retailers in the context of innovation theory. A case study of nine retailers who adopted EDI during 1987‐92 is used to discuss the reasons why EDI was delayed until 1986‐93 even though it was technically possible in the early 1980s. Argues that an innovation will not join the portfolio of "possibles" until three issues are resolved. These are: innovation "poles" to disseminate EDI knowhow; cost and performance improvements to the technology; and management learning, based (in this case) on learning developed from handling EPoS. Also considers the decision‐making process underlying EDI.
E-learning has been a standard preparation tool for the driving test for many years. This thesis examines how the implementation of this teaching approach has changed the curriculum for the learners and teachers. The author's restructuring proposals for the theoretical driving lessons are based on obtained research results. In the context of the driving training, the concept of blended learning serves as a methodical, educationally relevant combination of face-to-face learning and e-learning is developed and explained.
The issue of designing the learning environment, which opens the access to modern educational resources and contributes to developing a new level of interaction between teachers and students, is extremely relevant for national system of higher education. The development of digital technologies makes it possible to design qualitative, hi-tech learning environment for training specialists of different professions. The signing the Association Agreement between Ukraine and EU accelerates the process of digitalizing national education that is proved by a number of legislative initiatives and strategic documents, Digital Agenda of Ukraine – 2020 (2016), Law of Ukraine On Education (2017), Concept "New Ukrainian School", Regulation on Electronic Textbooks, and Regulation on National Educational Electronic Platform are among them. The purpose of the article is to analyse and generalize national and foreign experience about designing open electronic learning environment that gives an opportunity to model digital learning environment for training primary school teachers, as well as to describe the structure and content of this pedagogical phenomenon. The principles of open education and regulations of competence-based approach constitute the theoretical justification of research. The author analyse the national experience of designing innovative e-environment: the model of electronic educational platform – Universal educational environment – ACCENT (http://ac-cent.com/) and electronic platform mobiSchool which are designed by Ukrainian scientists and implemented into the practice as web-tools of electronic learning in secondary schools. It is noted that foreign countries have more experience of creating electronic learning resources, including open digital learning tools, courses, and textbooks. Among widespread information and communication environments there are Open Educational Resources (OER, https://www.oercommons.org/), Coursera (http://www.coursera.org), Academic Earth (http://academicearth.org), and online platforms of repositories of educational resources of Harvard and Preston Universities, Massachusetts Technological Institution and others. It is set out that in foreign pedagogy studies more modern generation of learning resources, Next Generation of Digital Learning Environment (NGDLE).
