Archaeoprimatology: TheLongue DuréeInterface Between Humans and Nonhuman Primates
In: Annual review of anthropology, Band 50, Heft 1, S. 379-401
ISSN: 1545-4290
Archaeoprimatology explores how humans and nonhuman primates coexisted in the past. This discipline has profound roots in texts of early scholars. Archaeoprimatological research examines the liminality between humans, apes, monkeys, and prosimians deep in time before the rise of the Anthropocene. By exploring the beginning of the relationship between modern Homo sapiens and primates, which possibly dates to approximately 100,000 BCE, I survey the evidence, ranging from portable objects and 2D surfaces with primatomorphic depictions to primate remains at archaeological sites worldwide. For example, an overview of ancient frescoes and mosaics with primate representations reveals that the vast majority of them were rendered in locations where primates were not part of the local fauna. An extensive review of primates in the zooarchaeological record shows as a global pattern that traded primates were usually young individuals and frugivorous/omnivorous species. Local primates yielded at sites of regions they naturally inhabited were mostly hunted. Thus, examining past patterns of the human–nonhuman primate interface provides insight into major questions about human niche construction and primate conservation today.
MEASURES TO SUPPORT BUSINESSES IN THE WAKE OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND THEIR INTERSECTION WITH BANKING SUPERVISORY RULES: THE PARADIGMATIC CASE OF ITALY
The negative repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on the economic fabric have led States to prepare various types of support measures. From this point of view, some measures adopted by the Italian legislator in the first half of 2020 express paradigmatically the challenges national legal systems had to face to reconcile different and contrasting needs. In this regard, the state guarantee measures for loans offered by the banking system appear emblematic, raising dilemmas of "competition between emergencies" in the quest to strike a difficult balance between solidarity and responsibility.

VIGILANZA BANCARIA E SANZIONI
Over time, the bank sanctioning regulations have been subject to re-curring changes, most recently and incisively in 2015 by means of the legislative decree implementing the so-called CRD IV (dir. 2013/36/EU) and therefore in the context of the establishment of the Single Supervisory Mechanism. The new regula-tory framework confirms that in the banking system sanctions are designed to strengthen the general supervisory action over the sector. This is also demonstra-ted in the supervisory provisions the Bank of Italy has issued on this subject matter.

Teacher Continuing Professional Development and Team-Working Competences: A Case Study From Italy
In: International journal for research in vocational education and training: IJRVET, Band 7, Heft 2, S. 237-255
ISSN: 2197-8646
Context: European policies describe the key role of teachers' Vocational Education and Training (VET) in improving students' learning outcomes. In order to improve teacher education, Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) policies identify competency models as the main framework for understanding teacher professionalism and designing VET policies. By reinterpreting these models through the capability approach, this article aims to identify more relevant competences of preschool teachers in the public and private services of northern and central Italy. Methods: The research began with a comparative analysis of VET policies for preschool teachers to outline more common competences used to define their professional profile. This led to the creation of a new, re-thought competency model used to design a quantitative survey to describe teachers' competences in preschool settings. The self-assessment questionnaire was built on the following competence areas: Management of educational and relational processes, teamwork and large-scale teamwork, networking and governance. The self-assessment questionnaire evaluated 65 preschool teachers' pre-acquired competences and development levels and those more desirable for the future (called "ideal" co.). The comparison of areas and their values reveals critical results, particularly related to teamwork competences at different levels. Results: The study outlines the structure of preschool teacher professionalism based on "traditional" competences (e.g., educational relationships with children) and some "innovative" competences (e.g., networking and governance), which appeared to be more desirable in teachers' evaluations. However, the comparison of the data reveals that governance competences are better evaluated then teamwork co., introducing some hypotheses about the quality of relationships in the community of practice. Conclusions: The research outlines how the competences emerging as relevant for teachers need to be better activated in professional settings to become strategically important. The results related to teamwork and governance competences focus on the importance of informal and extended learning contexts to teachers' socio-relational competence development. The organization of the school system needs to be re-thought and extracurricular competences need to increase to foster the generative development of informal learning communities at intra- and extra-school levels. According to the capability approach, the research reveals the extreme complexity of preschool teacher professionalism. For vocational education and training, its underlines the re-thinking of the preschool teacher profile as a co-designer of learning environments, which includes building formal and informal competences to foster communities of practice as a learning and generative process.

"With the evolution of today's educational contexts, teacher education is becoming increasingly important into European political discussion, in relation to its ability to improve the results of student learning. The need to confront new changes clearly signifies that the professionalism of teachers cannot be limited to competencies and skills learning, however, it does require new strategic dimensions of professional activation, oriented towards better identifying personal goals and strategies to be achieved. The text re-draws the paradigm of the continuing teacher professional development by integrating the capability approach with the models of competencies. Starting from the analysis of European policies on teacher education, the text carry out an experimental research into pre-school settings to explore the importance of individual choice: throught the creation of innovative research tools and a self-training methodology, pre-school teachers involved improved their self-determine agency and better qualified professional development. The text meets the interests of researchers, as a important contribution to rethink the topic of teacher training, also for the chosen methodological approach; for teachers, it wants to deepen the sense of educational professionalism, updated to the most recent topics and issues; finally, it meets the interests of aspiring in-training teachers or aspiring researchers for the richness of its contents, in order to inspire the elaboration of new, original research perspectives."

Approcci capacitativi sull'azione professionale docente.

Rethinking teacher education: between traditional and innovative competences ; Ripensare la formazione docente: tra competenze tradizionali e innovative
Into European political and pedagogical debate, the eventuality about thecreation in Italy of an "integrated education and training system for age 0-6" (L 107/2015) requests as no longer to put off the problem of the preschoolprofessionalism identification, as its qualification. The need of a univocaldefinition of professional profiles by models of competences led tothe formulation of this project research, wants to carry out a new model ofcontinuing professional development, according to the paradigm of capabilityapproach. However, the current lack of a model of professional competenceswhich to refer, requires a primary attention to such professionalismdescribing reference, linked to the development of several expansionapproaches at the same. The definition of systematic and coherent paths ofinitial formal training allow us to design new directions of continuing professional development, able to include the non-formal and informal enlargedlearning contexts.
