Money laundering has been a global issue for decades, which is one of the major threat for economy and society. Government, regulatory and financial institutions are combating it together in their respective capacity, however still billions of dollars in fines by authorities make the headlines in the news. High-speed internet services have enabled financial institutions to deliver better customer experience through multi-channel engagements, which has led to exponential growth in transactions and new avenues for laundering the money for fraudsters. Literature shows the usage of statistical methods, data mining and Machine Learning (ML) techniques for money laundering detection, but limited research on Deep Learning (DL) techniques, primarily due to lack of model interpretability and explainability of the decisions made. Several studies are conducted on application of ML for Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques in general, but lacks the study on usage of DL techniques together with XAI. This paper aims to review the current state-of-the-art literature on DL together with XAI for identifying suspicious money laundering transactions and identify future research areas. Key findings of the review are, researchers have preferred variants of Convolutional Neural Networks, and AutoEncoder; graph deep learning together with natural language processing is emerging as an important technology for AML; XAI use is not seen in AML domain; 51% ML methods used in AML are non-interpretable, 58% studies used sample of old real data; key challenges for researchers are access to recent real transaction data and scarcity of labelled training data; and data being highly imbalanced. Future research directions are, application of XAI techniques to bring-out explainability, graph deep learning using natural language processing (NLP), unsupervised and reinforcement learning to handle lack of labelled data; and joint research programs between research community and industry to benefit from domain knowledge and controlled access to data.

Background:Mental health has not had the same public profile as physical health. This has contributed to the stigma associated with mental illness and to its treatments. Research investigating how the traditions and values amongst those with an Arab heritage contribute to stigmatizing beliefs, attitudes or actions in the provision of mental healthcare has not been widely reported.Aim:To systematically review the literature and summarize the findings of studies reporting stigmatizing beliefs, actions and attitudes toward treatment of people with mental illness in the Arab population.Methods:PubMed, Ovid, Psycharticles and Embase were used to identify original studies of non-institutionalized Arab adults or children reporting findings relevant to stigma toward mental illness. A manual search of the bibliography of all selected original studies was also undertaken. Independent data extraction was performed by two reviewers, who then met to compare data and reach consensus. Findings were classified as stigmatizing beliefs, actions or attitudes toward mental health treatments.Results:A total of 33 articles were retrieved for full review. Those utilizing qualitative methodology provided insight into the many ways mental illness is viewed and defined among those with an Arab heritage. Among the studies using quantitative methodology, most compared stigmatizing beliefs, attitudes toward mental health treatments or stigmatizing actions among different Arab populations, some also investigated correlations between characteristics of the Arab population tested with stigmatizing beliefs, actions and attitudes toward mental health treatments. Findings from studies undertaken in Qatar reported greater stigmatizing beliefs, actions or attitudes toward mental health treatments among Qatari versus non-Qatari Arabs.Conclusion:A large diversity in the stigmatizing beliefs, actions and attitudes toward treatment of mental illness within the Arab population were identified. The influence of cultural variations on stigma should be explored further and used to tailor anti-stigma interventions in this population.

Two rapid, simpleand sensitive flow injection methods were developed for the estimation of metronidazole (MRZ) in pharmaceutical formulations. The proposed methods were based on charge transfer reaction between metol (N-methyl-p-aminophenol sulfate) as a π-acceptorand reduced MRZ as an n-donor to produce a blue colored chargetransfer complex. Method A depends on the reaction of reduced MRZ with metol (MT) in the presence of NaIO4 using two lines manifold to form blue colored product exhibiting absorption maxima at 700 nm.While method B depends on charge transfer reaction of reduced MRZ with MT in presence of a solid phase reactorcontainingfixedFePO4 on cellulose acetateusing reverse flow injection manifold to form a blue colored productwhich was measured spectrophotometrically at690 nm.Various experimental parameters for both methods were studied. Beer's law was obeyed in the ranges of2.5-200 and 2.5-150 μg mL-1,with r2 of 0.9995 and 0.9972;whilethe detection limit values were2.53 and 2.12μg mL-1 for methods A and B, respectively. Both of the suggested methods were successfully applied for the estimation of MRZ in commercial formulations. The results of the developed methods were compared with those obtained by the British pharmacopeia method, showinghigh accuracy and precision.

This paper aims to show how the performance of the Koperasi Daya Karya in the Sintang District Office of Education and Culture has so far been. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this study describes several problems that refer to the first aspect of responsiveness, namely the ability to identify the needs of members, prioritize services, develop agendas, and develop service programs for members who have not been running optimally and not yet optimal. unfulfilled needs and aspirations of members; secondly, the responsibility for implementing activities at "Daya Karya" has not been carried out with administrative principles that are in line with cooperative policies, the level of conformity between the formulation of the vision and mission of the Koperasi and the dynamics of change, the level of anticipation in dealing with change; accountability of "Daya Karya" which has not been able to account for its actions and work optimally, as well as several factors that influence the results of the work of dedication to "Daya Karya" of the Sintang District Education and Culture Office. Thus, this research is expected to make service performance at the "Daya Karya" Office of Education and Culture of Sintang Regency run optimally.
