Psychologists have different perspectives about well-being. In the satisfaction of needs theory it is stated that well-being is achieved when an individual's needs are satisfied. In this study we explored the relationships among leisure involvement, perceived health status, and leisure
benefits to construct a model of the well-being of college students. A structural model based on the descriptive statistics from a convenience sample revealed that although leisure involvement was not directly related to leisure benefits, it did have an impact on well-being. In addition, perceived
health status and leisure benefits were found to have a direct effect of well-being. The results are discussed in terms of their relevance to future researchers.
