Reports a journey to South Africa for 3 weeks with a veteran of the US civil rights movement and 9 young people, aged 16-20 yrs. The group was joined by 3 South African university students from Western and Eastern Cape, and travelled from Soweto to Pietersburg in the Northern Transvaal. They met with ANC Youth League leaders, PAC student leaders, government officials and National Party supporters in Pretoria and Johannesburg. Reviews the impressions of the group.
