Every year many people are willing to migrate due to several reasons. It is observed that there are many immigrants who live in Seville, which is the capital city of Andalusia. This study aims to explore the motivations behind people's decision to migrate and to where: What are the motivations of immigrants to migrate to Seville? We use data from several resources for the empirical analysis and the field study relies on the survey which is made with immigrants living in Seville. It concludes that security, economic, social and geographic conditions of the origin country can be the main determinants of the migration decision and the migration destination.
There is a rich body of work in critical race and feminist theories that have criticised as Euro/Anglo-centric, and hence exclusionary, the liberal foundations of Western democratic legal systems. The basis of such critiques is that legal personhood is premised on an atomistic individual agent that purports to be neutral but in actuality reflects and maintains the hegemonic gendered and raced status quo privileging the white, middle to upper-class man to the exclusion of women and all racial and cultural Others. Some approaches, such as cultural defences in criminal law, have sought to address this via a recognition and incorporation of the difference of Other groups and their different moral norms, proclivities and circumstances. To illustrate, this discussion will draw on a cultural defence that was advanced in a series of group sexual violence cases that involved four Pakistani, Muslim brothers. While concluding that culture permeates the actions of all individuals, this article seeks to show how cultural recognition approaches in law often overlook the individual agency of those differentiated through their racial, ethnic and religious visibility. Instead of asserting the primacy of individual free will and a rational agent as the main driver of criminal behaviour cultural defences, in particular, appear to attribute criminal action to the morally aberrant traditions and practices of non-Western cultures. At the same time, such approaches to cultural recognition fail to acknowledge that culture, and not just the culture of Others, is necessarily the backdrop for all (group) sexual violence. With these points in mind, the paper ends with some suggestions for accommodating alternative narratives that seek to avoid the reductive scripts that currently appear to characterise legal and judicial musings on culture

Kitlesel göçler sonrası gündeme taşınan ve çözüm aranan tartışmalı konulardan biri de gönüllü geri dönüşlerdir. Bu tür göçlerin uluslararası deneyimlerine duyulan gereksinim Türkiye ve benzer sığınma ülkeleri için giderek artmaktadır. Bu çalışma gönüllü geri dönüş örneklerini ve geri dönüş sonrası yaşanan ekonomik, sosyal, kültürel ve politik neticeleri inceleyerek Türkiye'de bulunan Suriyeli sığınmacıların gönüllü geri dönüşlerine ilişkin çeşitli analizler yapmaktadır. Gönüllü, güvenli ve sürdürülebilir geri dönüşlerin hangi tür sosyolojik ve politik zeminde şekillendiği, öngörülen düzeyde gerçekleşip gerçekleşmediği, uluslararası dinamikleri, sığınma ülkesinin ve kaynak ülke pratiklerinin nasıl karşılık bulduğu bu çalışmanın yanıt bulmaya çalıştığı temel sorulardır. Çalışmanın temel amacı ise gönüllü geri dönüşler konusunda uluslararası deneyimleri tespit etmek ve Türkiye'de bulunan Suriyeli sığınmacıların geri dönüş göçlerine yönelik planlama ve pratiklere katkı sunmaktır. Kaynak ülkelerin politik ve ekonomik özellikleri, hedef ülkelerin göç politikaları, uluslararası çabaların istikrarı, diplomatik ilişkiler, sığınma ülkesinin sosyolojik zemini, göç eden bireylerin sosyo-demografik özellikleri ve göç sonrası yaşanan deneyimler geri dönüşler üzerinde etkili olan temel bileşenler olarak gönüllü geri dönüş sürecini şekillendirmektedir.
Tanzimat edebiyatının en önemli isimlerinden biri olan Recaizâde Mahmut Ekrem (1847-1914) yenileşme döneminin önderlerinden biridir. Servet-i Fünûn neslinin hocası olarak kabul edilen Ekrem, Tanzimat'ın ve yenileşme döneminin ilk kuşağının öncü sanatçıları Namık Kemal ve Ziya Paşa'nın ardından Tanzimat'ın ikinci kuşağı olarak adlandırılan dönemde faaliyetlerini sürdürür. Yol gösterici ve öğretici kimliğiyle üstat sıfatıyla anılan Recaizâde Mahmut Ekrem, şiir, tiyatro, hikâye, roman, deneme, sanat ve edebiyat üzerine yazılar gibi çeşitli türlerde eserler vermiştir. En çok şiir alanında eser vermekle birlikte Tanzimat döneminde 'eğlencelerin en faydalısı olduğu' düşüncesiyle üzerinde en çok durulan türlerden biri olan tiyatro Ekrem'in kayıtsız kalamadığı türlerden biridir. 1870 yılında yayınlanan Afife Anjelik Ekrem'i ön plana çıkaran edebi türlerden daha önce kaleme alınmıştır ve daha hacimlidir. Bu nedenle Ekrem'in edebi faaliyetlerinin başlangıcını tiyatroya dayandırmak yanlış olmayacaktır. Çalışmada yazarın tiyatroları ayrıntılı analiz edilecek, yazarın edebi kimliği bütüncül olarak değerlendirilirken tiyatro eserlerinin de dikkate alınması gerektiği üzerinde durulacaktır.
Her alanda büyük bir değişimin yaşandığı günümüzde örgütlerin varlıklarını sürdürebilmeleri adına değişim önemli bir unsur haline gelmiştir. Değişimin örgüt varlığındaki hayati önemi diğer sistemlerde olduğu gibi eğitim örgütlerinde de ön plana çıkmaktadır. Yöneticilikte yeni anlayışların benimsenmesi eğitim örgütlerinde her geçen gün önemini arttırır hale gelmiştir. Bu araştırmada amaç okullardaki mevcut sorunları okul yöneticilerinin algılamalarına başvurarak belirleyebilmek ve olası çözüm yolları geliştirebilmektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu Düzce il merkezindeki ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim okullarında görev yapan 10 okul yöneticisinden oluşmaktadır. Yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile veriler toplanmıştır. İçerik analizi yöntemi ile veri analizi yapılmış ve görüşme formlarındaki cevaplardan kodlar ve temalar oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma sonunda okullarda karşılaşılan sorunların iletişim kaynaklı, fiziksel şartlar kaynaklı ve yönetim becerileri kaynaklı sorunlar olduğu ve bu sorunların da okulların türü, öğretmen ve öğrenci sayısı ve sosyal-ekonomik boyuta göre farklı düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
As in other organizations, there is ostracism also in educational organizations. Apart from the individual consequences of being ostracized, there are also undesirable organizational consequences. Considering the potential of educational organizations to transform individuals, the effect of ostracism on teachers becomes particularly important. The purpose of the study was to examine the reasons for and results of the ostracism that teachers face at schools by the school principals, and the recommendations for solutions to prevent ostracism. The study group of the study, which was structured with the phenomenology design, consisted of 12 elementary and middle primary school teachers who had personal experience with ostracism. The data collected through interviews were analyzed with content analysis. The study revealed that teachers were exposed to ostracism for political, social and2For individual reasons. Ostracized teachers experienced psychological and organizational problems. The teachers stated that preventing ostracism in schools would be possible with a more democratic and fairer organizational culture.
