Reporting Survey Nonresponse in Academic Journals

Addresses the problem of survey nonresponse by examining reported response rates from eight social science journals (from political science, sociology, & survey research) & attempts to determine whether the Standard Definitions issued by the AAPOR have had any effect on reporting. Despite some promising aspects, the findings indicate that improvement in response rate reporting has been minimal, & that much more work needs to be done. 1 Table, 9 References. K. Coddon
