Th article concerns employees' situation on the contemporary labour market. In particular, the essence of changes in work environment and the competences necessary to carry them out were characterized. Subsequently, the attention was focused on the employees' confusion in the face of technological and organizational changes and on the conditions enabling the understanding of the goals and consequences of these changes. A separate place is devoted to the considerations on the ways of reacting to the changes occurring.


Dylematy pracowników na współczesnym rynku pracy

Artykuł jest poświęcony sytuacji pracowników na współczesnym rynku pracy. W szczególności scharakteryzowano istotę zmian w środowisku pracy oraz niezbędne do ich przeprowadzenia kompetencje. W dalszej kolejności skoncentrowano uwagę na zagubieniu pracowników w obliczu zmian technologicznych i organizacyjnych oraz na warunkach umożliwiających zrozumienie celów i konsekwencji tych zmian. Osobne miejsce zajmują rozważania na temat sposobów reakcji – zareagowania na występujące zmiany.

У дисeртaциjи aкцeнaт је стaвљeн нa aнaлизу прoцeсa нoрмaлизaциje oднoсa измeђу уже Србиje и њене покрајине Koсoвa и Метохије у услoвимa дeлoвaњa тoкoвa глoбaлизaциje и тo крoз кoнтeкст прoцeсa eврoпских интeгрaциja рeгиoнa Зaпaднoг Бaлкaнa, у нaстojaњу дa сe oткриjу мeхaнизми кojимa сe рукoвoдe Eврoпскa униja (ЕУ), Србиja и косовске власти у сaмoм прoцeсу. Пoсeбнa пaжњa je пoсвeћeнa пoлитици услoвљaвaњa, кao глaвнoм инструмeнту кojи Eврoпскa униja упoтрeбљaвa прeмa Србиjи и Косову и Метохији, кao актерима кojи жeле дa пoстaну њeне члaнице. Teкст сe нaрoчитo бaви jaснoћoм услoвa, брзинoм нaгрaђивaњa и цeнтрифугaлним силaмa сaмoг прoцeсa уз oслoнaц нa примeну дoминaнтног тeoриjског приступa у овој области, институциoнaлизмa рaциoнaлнoг избoрa, кao глaвне истрaживaчке aргумeнтaциjе нa примeру прeгoвaрaчкoг пoглaвљa 35. Предмет истраживања је стога, степен успeшнoсти прoцeсa нoрмaлизaциje oднoсa измeђу Србиje и Koсoвa и Метохије у услoвимa глoбaлизaциje, односно дериватног процеса европеизације као прoцeса преноса и имплeмeнтaциje фoрмaлних и нeфoрмaлних прaвилa, прoцeдурa, пoлитичких пaрaдигми, стилoвa и нoрми кojи су нajпрe били дeфинисaни од стране EУ, a зaтим прeнeти у лoгику дoмaћeг дискурсa, пoлитичких структурa и jaвних пoлитика држава кандидата за чланство у ЕУ. Централно место у анализи свакако заузима степен нejaснoће сaмoг прoцeсa и пoврeмeни нeдoстaтaк крeдибилитeтa критeриjумa зa приступaњe ЕУ услед сталне прoмeнe услoвa интeгрaциje, као и пружaњe oтпoрa дoмaћих пoлитичких eлитa, и то посебно са аспекта кoристи и трoшкoвa, али и нивоа истинскe пoсвeћeнoсти решавању овог проблема. Истраживање посебно анализира нejeднaкe нивoe успeшнoсти, посебно посматрајући све типове приступа сaмих актера тог процеса, али и домете трaнсфoрмaтивнe мoћи ЕУ и мeхaнизама кojе Унија користи. ; The establishment of political relations between the authorities in Belgrade and in Prishtina in the frame of the process of globalization Resume: In this dissertation, emphasis is placed on analysis of the process of normalization of relations between central Serbia and its province Kosovo and Metohija in the frame of the process of globalization and in the context of European integration of the region of the Western Balkans, in an effort to discover the mechanisms that govern the European Union (EU), Serbia and Kosovo's authorities in the process itself. Special attention is paid to the policy of conditionality, as the main instrument used by the European Union towards Serbia and Kosovo, as actors who want to become its members. Text is particularly concerned with the clarity of conditions, the speed of rewarding and centrifugal forces of the process itself relying on the use of a predominant theoretical approach in this area, the rational choice institutionalism, as the main research argumentation on the case of the negotiating chapter 35. The subject of the research is therefore, the degree of success of the process of normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo and Metohija under conditions of globalization, as well as, under conditions of a derivative process of the Europeanization, as the process of transferring and implementing formal and informal rules, procedures, policy paradigms, styles and norms that were first defined by EU, and then transferred to the logic of domestic discourse, political structures and policies of the candidate countries for the membership in EU. The central place in the analysis of a degree of ambiguity of the process and occasional lack of credibility of the criteria for EU accession due to constant changes in terms of integration and resistance of domestic political elites, especially in terms of benefits and costs, but also the level of genuine commitment to resolving this problem. The study also analyzes the unequal levels of success observing all types of approaches of the actors onvolved in the process, as well as, the range of the transformative power of EU, and mechanisms that Union is using.

Abstract
This essay examines the intersection between traditional white American institutions and the need for Black advancement. The case of Dartmouth College from 1945 to 1975 highlights the expanse of the struggle for Black freedom as the burgeoning civil rights and Black Power movements assisted educational institutions with their approach to opportunities for Black students. The socioeconomically elite and geographically isolated colonial college in Hanover, New Hampshire, struggled with attracting Black students and creating resources that helped them acclimate to the starkly white environment. Without the assistance of a local Black community or access to famous activists to act on their behalf, Black students worked together to help the college acknowledge its role in modern society. In doing so, they practiced Black student power, leveraging their status as students in institutions of higher education to act on behalf of the larger Black freedom movement. Dartmouth students benefited from the militant activism of peers at other Ivy institutions that sometimes involved building takeovers and the threat of violence. In addition, they took advantage of the unusual access that they had with the trustees of the college to seize the historical moment by pressuring the institution to evolve with regard to its policies. As a result of their negotiations and vigilance, students at Dartmouth achieved their goals of increased Black enrollment, a Black studies program, and a Black cultural space. Moreover, they showed the nuance and effectiveness of the civil rights and Black Power movements when youth took the lead.

The Virginia Tech-Wake Forest University Center for Injury Biomechanics (CIB) has completed 10 years of research in the fields of automobile safety, military restraints, and sports biomechanics. The CIB has grown to include 74 researchers lead by 10 faculty and 48 staff and student researchers. These researchers examine human tolerance across a range of dynamic loading environments for all body regions. The CIB is the largest university based injury biomechanics research group in the world. It includes five separate laboratory facilities with over 40,000 sq. ft. of dedicated research space. The faculty and staff have published nearly 300 journal and refereed conference papers in 10 general research areas. The objective of this paper is to summarize briefly the CIB research capabilities and accomplishments.

Die Besuchervermarktung von Sportgroßveranstaltungen ist einem verstärktem Paradigmenwechsel unterworfen: In diesem Veranstaltungssektor ist zunehmend das Entstehen kommerzieller Erlebniswelten zu konstatieren, die ihren Besucher weit mehr als lediglich das Sportereignis bieten, wie das Beispiel Fußball-Bundesliga zeigt. Die sportzentrierte Aufbereitung weicht hierbei einer erlebnisorientierten Präsentation der Kern- und Umfeldelemente. Teil 1 der Dissertation zeichnet den theoretischen Hintergrund, vor dem sich die empirische Untersuchung in Teil 2 kontextuiert. Die forschungsleitenden Fragestellungen sind auf den Entwurf eines Erlebnismarketingkonzeptes ausgerichtet, das im Rahmen eines 5 Phasen-Modells ein eigenes Instrumentarium in der operativen Phase aufweist. Die vorrangig eingenommenen Perspektiven sind hierbei ökonomischer, psychologischer und soziologischer Art und primär anbieterorientiert. Voraussetzung für die kommerzielle Vermarktung von Erlebnissen ist deren Verständnis als eigenes Wirtschaftsgut, das sich deutlich von der Dienstleistungsperspektive unterscheidet. In gleichem Zuge kann das Erlebnismarketing, das primär im Rahmen eines regulären Ligabetriebs angesiedelt ist, deutlich vom Eventmarketing abgegrenzt werden. Die Inszenierungselemente erlebnisorientiert vermarkteter Sportveranstaltungen weisen hierbei verstärkt theatral-wirkungsorientierte Elemente auf, die in kommerziellen Erlebnis- und Freizeitwelten bereits Anwendung finden. Die Übertragung auf den kulturell gewachsenen Bereich des Sports findet modifiziert und auf der Basis besuchergruppenbezogener Bedürfnisdimensionen statt. Kernteil des theoretischen Teils ist der Entwurf eines Instrumentariums, mittels dessen eine Steuerung der Sportveranstaltung im Sinne eines Erlebnisgewinns der Besucher möglich ist. Hierbei sind Instrumente wie das Erinnerungsmanagement, die Erlebnispolitik, die Sensualisierungspolitk, die Kommunikationspolitik, das besucherorientierte Personalmanagement und die Ausstattungspolitik des Anbieters in dieser Funktion betrachtet worden. Zentral hierbei ist die Zunahme der mittleren Verweildauer der Besucher am Veranstaltungsort, die mit dem Umsatz korreliert. Im empirischen Teil sind zunächst die methodischen Fragen zum Design von Delphiuntersuchungen betrachtet worden. Die von Mai bis Oktober durchgeführte, mehrstufige, schriftliche Expertenbefragung ist hierbei deskriptiv und mittels einer Varianzanalyse(ANOVA) unterschiedlicher Expertengruppen ausgewertet worden. Das oben beschriebene Erlebnismarketingparadigma ist hierbei mit gruppenbezogenen, signifikanten Varianzen verifiziert worden: Die Eventisierung des Ligabetriebs wird nach Expertenmeinung auch weiterhin zunehmen und Sportveranstaltungen zu Erlebniswelten mit vielen Freizeitfunktionen transformieren. Die damit verbundenen Problemstellungen (wie der nachhaltigen Veränderung der Besucherstruktur zu Ungunsten klassischer Fangruppen) werden durch eine stärkere Diversifizierung des Angebots kompensiert. ; Sport-events have been changing into commercial areas in which several functions for the visitor and Spectator have been maintained. The core-product of a Sport-Event like a game of the German football league (DFL) is not limited to the sportive action itself; the management level takes more and more into account that Entertainment and commercial-created experiences are part of the product as well. Part 1 of the doctoral thesis reveals the theoretical background of the experience economy in sports whereas in part 2 a Delphi-designed test with experts is described and evaluated. The perspective are primarily economically-, psychologically and sociologically-based. The experience economy model has been brought to a five-phase-marketing-model which considers experiences as market goods in completion to the classical service-marketing. Differences to the eventmarketing as it has been researched by several authors are evident because the experience economy is focussed on leagues and not just unique events for marketing usages. The arena can be described as a theatre on which stage the sportive action is located. Therefore the production and presentation of sports for the spectators bases on dramaturgical elements which correlate with the motifs of different target groups of the event. The operative phase of the marketing-model contains the instruments of experience-economy in which process-, communication-, sensual-, after-sales-, facility-aspects has been taken into account. Within part 2 methodological aspects of Delphi-Designs has been researched. Besides a descriptive evaluation an analysis of variance (ANOVA) of different expert groups has been made. Significant differences has been discovered but the verification of the experience economy has been successful. The transformation of sport-events into temporarily Urban Entertainment Centers (UEC) will be a crucial part of the future marketing of sport-arenas. By diversing the products and services the different motifs of the target groups can be considered with regard on economical success of such an offer.

We consider the problem of minimizing a convex separable logarithmic function over a region defined by a convex inequality constraint or linear equality constraint, and two-sided bounds on the variables (box constraints). Such problems are interesting from both theoretical and practical point of view because they arise in some mathematical programming problems as well as in various practical problems such as problems of production planning and scheduling, allocation of resources, decision making, facility location problems, and so forth. Polynomial algorithms are proposed for solving problems of this form and their convergence is proved. Some examples and results of numerical experiments are also presented.
