General Election (Pemilihan Umum/Umum) is an arena for political parties to fight for seats in parliament through various political campaign strategies they carry out. The success of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Bandung City in obtaining the majority of 13 seats in the 2019 Election is an interesting political case to study. This study aims to describe and analyze the political marketing strategies that the legislative candidates from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) of Bandung City carry out. Using the marketing mix theory, this study looks at 4 dimensions, namely Product, Place, Price, and Promotion. A descriptive-qualitative approach is applied. This study conducts interviews with representatives of the former PKS candidates who were the members of the parliament of Bandung City in the period of 2019-2024. This study indicates that PKS candidates for the City of Bandung Parliament have succeeded in implementing a marketing mix strategy. They employ it effectively and efficiently and reach a wider and more inclusive segment. They also apply campaign narratives that are close to voter's needs through direct marketing strategies.

After 23 years of reformation, one of the regulatory products that reflect the devolution and delegation of decentralized development management authority to the local government is Law No. 6/2014 on Villages which promises further community involvement, by placing the village as the centre of regional development and not only as an object of the national programs. This citizen forum facilitation was held in the context of expanding understanding of the substance of participatory planning and budgeting and the significance of community involvement in the village development management which was carried out during August 2021 in the Bajo Village, Soromandi District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province by involving dozens of people, especially women's groups, as participants. The main methods applied during this facilitation to discuss everything related to the prospects, constraints, and substantive needs of the program were in the form of lectures, brainstorming, practise, and mentoring. The group of women who participated on average emphasized that they were not citizens who had been involved and in the village planning-budgeting deliberations that had been held there. They have never experienced the atmosphere of regular civic forums such as the Musdes and the Musrenbangdes to discuss the draft of the RPJMDesa, the RKPDesa, and the APBDesa documents because there was no access and an opportunity to voice their collective needs to the Village Government. The activity output showed that there has been a seed of collective awareness from all participants to take a role in the planning-budgeting forums for the coming year and utilize them as a medium for channelling their aspirations, interests, or needs to the Village Government and the BPD. This research is a response to radical thinking in the name of religion. Some radical groups use the arguments of the religious text as reinforcements for acts of terrorism that have spread in several areas. This paper aims to dismantle the methodology of interpreting the verses of the al-Qur'an which are often used as justification for violence in the name of religion. This research is a qualitative research and this type of research is literature research by discussing books, both from primary and secondary books related to the theme being studied. The steps in this research are to explain the meaning and history of radicalization and deradicalization, collect verses of the Qur'an that are often interpreted radically, and explain the misinterpretations that have been widely politicized towards radical thinking. This article finds that there are two things that cause radicalism. first, there is a reduction in religious understanding due to ignorance and an incomplete understanding of religious texts. second, textual-normative understanding of religious texts. This article concludes that understanding religious texts (al-Qur'an and Hadith) requires a strong scientific basis. Radicalism arises because of the textual-normative method of understanding that often loses the substance of the text. As a result, his religious understanding becomes counter-productive to the spirit of Islam which is rahmatan lil alamin.

The relationship between politics and bureaucracy is significant to observe because this concerns the interests of policymakers and stakeholders related to the politics of local government policies. In this regard, this study aims to describe the Political Relations Model Bureaucracy in the Perception of Public Officials (A Study at the Bima City Government). The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the Relationship Model Bureaucratic Politics in the Perception of Public Officials (A Study at the Bima City Government) have interrelated and mutually supportive relationships both in formulating, implement and evaluate policies both political and administration towards the implementation of the public bureaucracy in the Bima City Government. Perception public officials concerning political intervention in carrying out activities bureaucracy are reflected in the process of development, administration, and technique as well as transfer and high employee rotation, institutional restructuring of the Bima City government bureaucracy as well The formulation of the Kota Bima Regional Financial Budgeting always occurs for political intervention interests of both public officials and career officials in running the wheel the government in the city of Bima.

This study is discussed about the mediation mechanism based on the local wisdom in Banyumas and factors inhibiting in the implementation. This study used a qualitative sociological juridical approach. The results showed that the mechanism for the resolution of criminal cases through mediation based on the value of local wisdom in Banyumas can be done outside and within the criminal justice, while still empowering the use of social network mediator. The mediation mechanism outside the criminal justice is done when the criminal case has not been reported or filed to the police, while the mechanism in the criminal court is done when a criminal case has been reported or filed with the police, and each of these mechanism has a sequence of stages. Meanwhile, the voluntary mediation became the first and man choices of Banyumas people. Inhibiting factors in the implementation of the mediation is primarily related to substantial and cultural components.

Political parties have a strategic function in actualize of good governance through representation and recruitment functions. The function of representation is a form of accountability of political parties to the public by absorbing aspirations, articulating and aggregating society's interests into laws, regulations, and policies, as well as overseeing the implementation of public policies. The function representation of political parties also includes forming and running an accountable and effective government, controlling corruption, and strengthening political stability. This study aims to analyze the causes of the governance function of representation and recruitment of the Golkar Party as a political party institution that has not optimally actualize good governance in the reform era. This study also formulates a governance model for the representation and recruitment functions of the Golkar Party, which can promote good governance. The research method uses mixed methods or mixed methods research (MMR), combining quantitative and qualitative approaches with exploratory sequential mixed methods models. The theoretical approach used is the political party representation theory of Bartolini Mair (2001), and Szymanek (2015), and the political party recruitment theory approach put forward by Pippa Norris (2006). The results showed that the governance of the function representation of the Golkar Party in the reform era did not function optimally because the function representation was still electoral, and the strong interests and presence of rent-seekers made the Golkar Party not autonomous, not free from oligarchy and corruption. This study recommends an excellent political party governance model with a functional aspirational house model and a model of educational institutions, regeneration, and recruitment.

Starting from the notion that collaborative rural planning focuses on policymaking through authentic dialogue, this article discusses the power dynamics that influence the planning process and product. It was motivated by the presumption that the understanding of collaborative policymaking is not adequate if it only concerns formal deliberation without considering other power dynamics. Booher and Innes's model of network power in collaborative policymaking (DIAD–Diversity, Interdependence, Authentic Dialogue) and the power cube model of Gaventa were used to analyze the power mechanisms in the formal as well as in the informal arenas. They were applied to the process of village planning in Pematang Tengah, Indonesia, where the agrarian village community, deliberative bureaucrats, and other stakeholders are involved in formulating development rural planning projects. From the analysis a new model was derived, revealing three power mechanisms that are active in three different phases of the collaborative planning process: (I) Figuring out in openness, (II) Herding of public desire, and (III) Forcing of direction. The findings show that power mechanism (II) in the informal arena plays an important role by steering the course of policymaking in the formal arena (I). Power mechanism (III) is active when invisible actors illegitimately change the planning product that the formal deliberation has produced, acting out of self-interest. The analysis of power mechanisms that are active in the whole planning process can help planners in dealing with formal and informal power when developing appropriate planning strategies through a deliberative process.
