Nowadays, many countries have shown their interest in distributed generation technology. Recently, there are many problems with the power system. One of the problems is high electricity price. The price in power generation relies largely on the type and market price of the fuel used, government subsidies, government and industry regulation, and even local climate patterns. Other than that, the usage of fossil fuel needs to be reduced as its usage results in smog and acid rain, which eventually lead to the greenhouse emission and changes in earth's climate. To supply a better power system, this research introduces a model of MicroTurbine (MT) and battery storage MicroGrid (MG) system based on green energy. The small-scale MG is widely used in power generation system. MG can operate with renewable and non-renewable energy. Through this project, MG will be modeled by using MT as Distribution Generation (DG) and battery storage system as Distribution Storage (DS). The MG system will be simulated using MATLAB Simulink. The MG system will be analyzed in grid connected or grid-disconnected mode. The simulation shows the results of different modes of MG system. The factors and causes affecting the MG system will be discussed.

In the present study mediating role of green training between corporate social responsibility practices including Legal CSR and Ethical CSR and employee engagement as well as green training in textile industry of Sindh, Pakistan. The data collected from the textile industry of Sindh, Pakistan. Printed versions of the form are given to workers in textile companies in Sindh, Pakistan, including Hyderabad and Karachi. At first, formal approval was asked for from the HR department in question. Once the proper authority granted it, an official meeting was set up. [1]Out of the 230 written surveys given to employees, only 200 were used for the necessary research purpose because some needed to include data. Structural equation modeling via SmartPLS software was used to test the hypotheses. Findings of this study confirmed that the all-direct hypotheses such as legal CSR and ethical CSR has positive and significant impact on green training and employee engagement in textile industry of Sindh, Pakistan. In addition to this, present study also confirmed partial mediation effect of green training between corporate social responsibility practices including Legal CSR and Ethical CSR and employee engagement in textile industry of Sindh, Pakistan. The research on CSR practices and employee engagement in Sindh, Pakistan's textile sector, using green training as a mediator, has substantial management implications. Sindh's textile companies should prioritize and participate in CSR. Local social and environmental issues should guide these approaches. Organizations may improve their image and recruit and keep skilled, purpose-driven workers by exhibiting social responsibility.

This paper investigates the associations between institution trust and public response to the COVID-19 outbreak. An Internet-based, cross-sectional survey was administered on January 29, 2020 to the epicenter Hubei province, China. A total of 4,393 adults who ≥18 years of age and residing or working in the province of Hubei were included in the study. The majority of the participants expressed a higher level of trust in the information and preventive instructions provided by the central government than by the local government. Being under quarantine (adjusted odds ratio (OR) = 2.35, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.80–3.08) and having a high institutional trust score (OR = 2.23, 95% CI 1.96–2.53) were both strong and significant determinants of higher preventive behavior scores. The majority of study participants (85.7%, n = 3,640) reported that they would seek hospital treatment if they suspected themselves to have been infected with COVID-19. Few of the participants from Wuhan (16.6%, n = 475) and those participants who were under quarantine (13.8%, n = 550) expressed an unwillingness to seek hospital treatment. Institutional trust is an important factor influencing adequate preventive behavior and seeking formal medical care during an outbreak.

Membrane-less microbial fuel cell (ML-MFC) technology has emerged as a potential for wastewater treatment and electricity generation. Despite its benefit in green energy production, studies have yet to determine its role in minimizing the human hazards stemming from dewatered sludge (DS). Hence, this research aims to investigate the effects of ML-MFC-treated DS on cell toxicity and its benefits in reducing protein-denaturation-related inflammation and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) dissemination. MTT assay was performed to determine the cytotoxic effect of ML-MFC-treated DS on 3T3-L1 and Hep G2 cells at 24 h. The anti-inflammatory property of ML-MFC-treated DS was determined using a protein denaturation assay. Next, the antibiotic susceptibility of bacteria isolated from ML-MFC-treated samples was determined using the disk-diffusion method. All the data obtained were statistically analyzed using GraphPad Prism software (Version 9.2.0) with a p-value ≤0.05 was considered significant. Interestingly, ML-MFC-treated DS showed 80% cell viability on 3T3-L1 and slight toxicity on Hep G2 cells. ML-MFC-treated DS exhibited anti-inflammatory properties with 62.43% protein denaturation inhibition and displayed fewer antibiotic-resistance bacteria than the untreated. Overall, the ML-MFC technology showed novel applications by decreasing DS-related health hazards.

The OER is a comparatively innovative phenomenon which perhaps seen as a part of a bigger movement towards openness in advanced education including more familiar and recognized trends, for example Open Access (OA) and Open Source Software (OSS). This study introduces a web based service for collaborative authoring learning to create, share and explore dynamic contents since many problems occurred while using the current e-learning software such as Moodle and LAMS. This paper proposed the alternative e-learning software technology based on grid portal, grid computing platform and it was implemented in two courses. The conventional web based education may not suitable for collaborative tools and online collaborative authoring environment because of slow operation in searching, uploading, visualizing output, and file sharing. The new web based service offers an efficient authoring infrastructure dealing with online collaborative tools and collaborative authoring environment based on grid portal technology to solve the unequal distribution of task and compensation problem as well as investigates how to improve access and usefulness for the users of such OER. UCLA Grid Portal open source software with parallel computing system has been implemented in order to design the efficient authoring infrastructure and to implement an online graphics, animation, audio and video technology courses. The idea is to show how the environment can offer web assisted education that goes beyond providing digital learning materials. The OER, especially in the collaborative authoring activity environment in parallel computing are designed to provide students with new environment where they can share skills, knowledge, and understanding within the group members as well as to enhance students' teamwork skills in parallel and distributed processing for high performance computing. Based on the strong foundations, hopefully the users are ready to apply their knowledge, creativity and leadership to fulfill the need of their future career development. As a conclusion, the collaborative authoring learning becomes more effective in terms of performance evaluations analysis.
