In the field of modern hydrogen energy, obtaining pure hydrogen and syngas and then being able to use them for green energy production are significant problems. Developing solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and catalytic membranes for oxygen separation as well as materials for these devices is one of the most likely ways to solve these problems. In this work, the authors' recent studies in this field are reviewed; the fundamentals of developing materials for SOFC cathodes and oxygen separation membranes' permselective layers based on research of their oxygen mobility and surface reactivity are presented. Ruddlesden – Popper phases Ln2–xCaxNiO4+δ (LnCNO) and perovskite-fluorite nanocomposites PrNi0.5Co0.5O3–δ–Ce0.9Y0.1O2–δ (PNC–YDC) were studied by isotope exchange of oxygen with C18O2 and 18O2 in flow and closed reactors. For LnCNO a high oxygen mobility was shown (D* ~ 10–7 cm2/s at 700 °C), being provided by the cooperative mechanism of oxygen migration involving both regular and highly-mobile interstitial oxygen. For PNC–YDC dominated a wide fast diffusion channel via fluorite phase and interphases due to features of the redistribution of cations resulting in superior oxygen mobility (D* ~ 10–8 cm2/s at 700 °C). The aim of the current study is to provide a critical analysis of the current hygienic requirements to the design of the PET, PET/CT and PET/MRI centers and departments. The study included the evaluation of the Russian legislative documents containing the requirements for the design of the PET centers and departments, engineering, technological, licensing and other documentation of the working PET centers in St-Petersburg. It was determined, that, despite the existence of the actual direct action document (SanPiN2.6.1.3288-15 "Hygienic requirements on the provision of the radiation safety for the preparation and performance of the positron emission tomography", it is necessary to consider the hygienic requirements from other legislative documents, hence complicating the process of design and project approval. Some of the actual issues related to the design and allocation of these objects have not been considered in detail: requirements for the transfer platforms for the dispatch and reception of the radiopharmaceuticals, management of the activities and allocation of the mobile PET complexes, etc. Considering the planned increase of the number of PET centers in Russia, it is necessary to further increase and optimize the existing legislation. ; Целью публикации является критический анализ существующих гигиенических требований проектирования центров и отделений ПЭТ-, ПЭТ/КТ- и ПЭТ/МРТ-диагностики. В ходе исследования были изучены российские нормативно-правовые документы, определяющие требования к проектированию центров и отделений ПЭТ-диагностики, проектно-техническая, технико-технологическая, разрешительная и иная документация уже работающих центров ПЭТ-диагностики Санкт-Петербурга. При этом было установлено, что, несмотря на наличие документа прямого действия (СанПиН 2.6.1.3288-15«Гигиенические требования по обеспечению радиационной безопасности при подготовке и проведении позитронной эмиссионной томографии»), при проектировании приходится учитывать гигиенические требования, изложенные и в других нормативно-правовых документах, что затрудняет процесс проектирования и рассмотрения проектов. Часть актуальных вопросов, связанных с проектированием и размещением этих объектов, не нашли своего должного отражения в них. Это касается требований к транспортным площадкам отгрузки и приема радиофармпрепаратов, организации работы и размещения передвижных ПЭТ и др. Учитывая планируемое резкое увеличение количества центров ПЭТ-диагностики в России, необходимо дальнейшее совершенствование и оптимизация действующего в РФ законодательства.

In the scientific literature, there are accents that emphasize certain changes in the functioning of philosophy, which took place in connection with the establishment of the postulates of postmodernism as a new period in the development of culture, as a style of post non-classical scientific thinking, in fact, the content and hierarchy of values positions itself with a sophisticated departure from the classical and non-classical philosophical reflection. Philosophical and educational understanding of the methodology of research of dialogue and tolerance testified to the relevance of their research in the development of the potential of today's multicultural education and its growth in the cultural and educational space. Dialogue, dialogics and tolerance are represented by the mechanisms of meaning-making, axiology and praxeology: dialogical cognition of the interpersonal, social-group, societal, planetary world provides a certain "breakthrough" in the worldview-value coordinate system, in external-internal control of growth efficiency and its spiritual dimension. The axiological, ontological, educational-epistemological aspects of "fitting" a person into a new world context are precisely in the plane of philosophy, enriching the cultural fields of today's education through integration in goal-setting, content, organizational and managerial conditions for teaching and upbringing value ideals, principles, methods of holistic study of a person and those that are relevant today and provide Homo educandus with a meaning-making knowledge.

This work presents the experimental study results of Fe(III) and Zn(II) extraction by ionic liquids based on trioctylmethylammonium chloride and rhodanide in an aqueous two-phase system based on polypropylene glycol 425 and sodium chloride. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that these extractants are effective for the extraction of metals from aqueous solutions, and aqueous two-phase systems represent a "green" alternative to traditional extraction systems.

The Andreevskoye settlement (Bredinsky district of the Chelyabinsk Region, the left bank of the Sintashta River of the Tobolsk basin) belongs to a rare type of sites of the Trans-Ural Bronze Age with dense housing development, enclosed by a system of walls and ditches. Deciphering archival aerial photography, the use of low-depth geophysics (micromagnetic survey and ground penetrating radar), analysis of the microrelief, and test pits allowed us to determine main architectural elements, clarify their parameters, and propose a scenario for changing the object's structure over time. The basic layout throughout its history has been linear. The space within the walls was occupied by the blocks of buildings and passageways ("streets") dividing them. The number of rows was dependent on the expansion and reduction (at a later stage) of the area of the enclosed space. A typical feature of the early stage is numerous combustion products and fire traces. They form positive magnetic anomalies, mainly confined to the surfaces of the outer wall of the early stage of development. Traces of economic activities of the Bronze Age population outside the walls have only been found at the site between the moat and the riverbank. The composition of finds is typical for the Bronze Age cultures: fragments of ceramics, animal bones, slag, petiolate arrowhead made of stone, etc. The early period reliably belongs to the Sintashta culture; among the lifting collections, some finds belong to the Stone Age and the cultures of the Late Bronze Age. The example of the Andreevskoye settlement is one of many illustrations of dynamic processes of the development and adaptation of the Sintashta population to local conditions. All synchronous settlements explored over wide areas have traces of restructuring, including the transformation of layout. The reasons for these changes can be diagnosed only on the basis of the results of new multidisciplinary projects.

In an age of heightened awareness of the threat that western industrialized societies pose to the environment, hunters and gatherers attract particularly strong interest because they occupy the ecological niches that are constantly eroded. Despite the denial of sovereignty, the world's more than 350 million indigenous peoples continue to assert aboriginal title to significant portions of the world's remaining bio-diversity. As a result, conflicts between tribal peoples and nation states are on the increase. Today, many of the societies that gave the field of anthropology its empirical foundations and unique global vision of a diverse and evolving humanity are being destroyed as a result of national economic, political, and military policies. Although quite a sizable body of literature exists on the living conditions of the hunters and gatherers, this volume is unique in that it represents the first extensive east-west scholarly exchange in anthropology since the demise of the USSR. Moreover, it also offers new perspectives from indigenous communities and scholars in an exchange that be termed "south-north" as opposed to " north-north," denoting the predominance of northern Europe and North America in scholarly debate. The main focus of this volume is on the internal dynamics and political strategies of hunting and gathering societies in areas of self-determination and self-representation. More specifically, it examines areas such as warfare and conflict resolution, resistance, identity and the state, demography and ecology, gender and representation, and world view and religion. It raises a large number of major issues of common concerns and therefore makes important reading for all those interested in human rights issues, ethnic conflict, grassroots development and community organization, and environmental topics

NOMAD is a suite of three spectrometers that will be launched in 2016 as part of the joint ESA-Roscosmos ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter mission. The instrument contains three channels that cover the IR and UV spectral ranges and can perform solar occultation, nadir and limb observations, to detect and map a wide variety of Martian atmospheric gases and trace species. Part I of this work described the models of the UVIS channel; in this second part, we present the optical models representing the two IR channels, SO (Solar Occultation) and LNO (Limb, Nadir and Occultation), and use them to determine signal to noise ratios (SNRs) for many expected observational cases. In solar occultation mode, both the SO and LNO channel exhibit very high SNRs >5000. SNRs of around 100 were found for the LNO channel in nadir mode, depending on the atmospheric conditions, Martian surface properties, and observation geometry. ; NOMAD has been made possible thanks to funding by the Belgian Science Policy Office (BELSPO) and financial and contractual coordination by the ESA Prodex Office. We report here the genome sequence of an ancient human. Obtained from ∼4,000-year-old permafrost-preserved hair, the genome represents a male individual from the first known culture to settle in Greenland. Sequenced to an average depth of 20×, we recover 79% of the diploid genome, an amount close to the practical limit of current sequencing technologies. We identify 353,151 high-confidence single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), of which 6.8% have not been reported previously. We estimate raw read contamination to be no higher than 0.8%. We use functional SNP assessment to assign possible phenotypic characteristics of the individual that belonged to a culture whose location has yielded only trace human remains. We compare the high-confidence SNPs to those of contemporary populations to find the populations most closely related to the individual. A publisher correction to this article was published on 17 April 2019 ; Global dust storms on Mars are rare1,2 but can affect the Martian atmosphere for several months. They can cause changes in atmospheric dynamics and inflation of the atmosphere3, primarily owing to solar heating of the dust3. In turn, changes in atmospheric dynamics can affect the distribution of atmospheric water vapour, with potential implications for the atmospheric photochemistry and climate on Mars4. Recent observations of the water vapour abundance in the Martian atmosphere during dust storm conditions revealed a high-altitude increase in atmospheric water vapour that was more pronounced at high northern latitudes5,6, as well as a decrease in the water column at low latitudes7,8. Here we present concurrent, high-resolution measurements of dust, water and semiheavy water (HDO) at the onset of a global dust storm, obtained by the NOMAD and ACS instruments onboard the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter. We report the vertical distribution of the HDO/H2O ratio (D/H) from the planetary boundary layer up to an altitude of 80 kilometres. Our findings suggest that before the onset of the dust storm, HDO abundances were reduced to levels below detectability at altitudes above 40 kilometres. This decrease in HDO coincided with the presence of water-ice clouds. During the storm, an increase in the abundance of H2O and HDO was observed at altitudes between 40 and 80 kilometres. We propose that these increased abundances may be the result of warmer temperatures during the dust storm causing stronger atmospheric circulation and preventing ice cloud formation, which may confine water vapour to lower altitudes through gravitational fall and subsequent sublimation of ice crystals3. A publisher correction to this article was published on 17 April 2019 ; The detection of methane on Mars has been interpreted as indicating that geochemical or biotic activities could persist on Mars today1. A number of different measurements of methane show evidence of transient, locally elevated methane concentrations and seasonal variations in background methane concentrations2–5. These measurements, however, are difficult to reconcile with our current understanding of the chemistry and physics of the Martian atmosphere6,7, which—given methane's lifetime of several centuries—predicts an even, well mixed distribution of methane1,6,8. Here we report highly sensitive measurements of the atmosphere of Mars in an attempt to detect methane, using the ACS and NOMAD instruments onboard the ESA-Roscosmos ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter from April to August 2018. We did not detect any methane over a range of latitudes in both hemispheres, obtaining an upper limit for methane of about 0.05 parts per billion by volume, which is 10 to 100 times lower than previously reported positive detections2,4. We suggest that reconciliation between the present findings and the background methane concentrations found in the Gale crater4 would require an unknown process that can rapidly remove or sequester methane from the lower atmosphere before it spreads globally. © 2019, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Limited. ; ExoMars is the space mission of ESA and Roscosmos. NOMAD (Nadir and Occultation for MArs Discovery) is one of the four instruments on board the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter, scheduled for launch in March 2016. It consists of a suite of three high-resolution spectrometers - SO (Solar Occultation), LNO (Limb, Nadir and Occultation) and UVIS (Ultraviolet and Visible Spectrometer). Based upon the characteristics of the channels and the values of Signal-to-Noise Ratio obtained from radiometric models discussed in (Vandaele et al., 2015a, 2015b; Thomas et al., 2016), the expected performances of the instrument in terms of sensitivity to detection have been investigated. The analysis led to the determination of detection limits for 18 molecules, namely CO, HO, HDO, CH, CH, CH, HCO, CH, SO, HS, HCl, HCN, HO, NH, NO, NO, OCS, O. NOMAD should have the ability to measure methane concentrations Inter-university Attraction Poles> programme financed by the Belgian Government (Planet TOPERS no P7-15) and a BRAIN Research Grant BR/143/A2/SCOOP.
