The peculiarities of international economic relations between Ukraine and the EU have been analyzed. Changes in foreign trade after the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU have been investigated, problems in trade between Ukraine and the EU have been identified, ways to overcome existing imbalances in trade in goods between Ukraine and the EU have been elaborated. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research are the fundamental positions of modern economic theory, scientific works of scientists, normative and legislative acts of Ukraine on foreign economic activity. In the course of the research, the following methods were used: economic and statistical (in the study of the state of international economic relations between Ukraine and the EU); graphic (for visual presentation of research results); analytical and structural-logical (in determining the directions of intensification of export of domestic enterprises, optimization of its structure within the framework of the current Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union). The paper uses a comprehensive approach to substantiate the prospects for Ukraine's integration into a single European market. В процесі дослідження використовувалися такі методи: економіко- статистичний (при дослідженні стану міжнародних економічних відносин України та ЄС); графічний (для наочного представлення результатів дослідження); аналітичний і структурно-логічний (при визначенні напрямків активізації експорту вітчизняних підприємств, оптимізації його структури в межах чинної Угоди про асоціацію між Україною та Європейським Союзом). В роботі використано комплексний підхід щодо обґрунтування перспектив інтеграції України в єдиний європейський ринок. Результати дослідження спрямовані на вирішення проблеми подолання негативного сальдо міжнародної торгівлі товарами з країнами ЄС.

On May 21, 1970, President Nixon appointed a Commission on International Trade and Investment Policy to study the principal problems faced by the United States in this field, assess present U.S. policy, and produce a set of policy recommendations for the 1970s which would take account of the changes that have taken place on the world economic scene since the end of World War II. Twenty-seven members from business, labor, agriculture, and the universities (a substantial majority from business) were appointed, under the chairmanship of Albert L. Williams, Chairman of the Finance Committee of International Business Machines. The Williams Commission rendered its report in July, 1971: "United States International Economic Policy in an Interdependent World."

The course "Money and Credit" is the selective course for the students' preparation of the specialty "Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activities" in the field of knowledge 07 "Management and Administration" 292 "International Economic Relations (International Business)" in the field of knowledge 29 "International Relations" of full-time and part-time forms of education, and is taught in accordance with the curriculum for the training of students for the educational level "Bachelor". The curriculum prepares the foundation for the study of other key economic course. The program of selective academic course "Money and credit" is compiled in accordance with the educational-professional program "Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activities" bachelor's level (First cycle). The study of the course "Money and Credit" is based on the knowledge obtained from such course as "Introduction to the specialty", "Political Economy", "Microeconomics", "Statistics", and the acquired knowledge will be used in further studies of such course: "Macroeconomics", "Finance", "Finance of Enterprises". Requirements for knowledge and skills are determined by sectoral standards of higher education of Ukraine
