Objective: to increase the efficiency of the training process of athletes in military aviation pentathlon through the additional introduction of crossfit exercises and cognitive training. Material and methods of research: analysis of literature sources, questionnaires, testing, statistical analysis. The study involved 48 first-year cadets of the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of the Air Force (men), aged 17-18, including 38 candidates for masters of sports and 10 masters of sports. The obtained results: a combination in a single algorithm of training first-year cadets - candidates for the national team with VAP exercises for the development of motor coordination skills, develop the maximum number of competencies (motor abilities). Using crossfit exercises with maximum agility, accuracy, balance, flexibility, mobility in the joints, jumping, accuracy, rhythm and plasticity allow cadets to develop maximum physical performance and endurance. Conclusions: Exercises for the development of cognitive abilities allow you to understand in more detail and then perform new exercises, to concentrate as much as possible on the ultimate goal of the exercises. The generalized experience of management in the field of using and protecting land resources in such countries as Denmark, Canada, Latvia, Germany, Poland, the USA, Switzerland, France and others, as well as features of management realization of this sphere in Ukraine have been considered. The purpose of the article is to determine the possibility and feasibility of introducing some elements of positive experience of management of developed countries into Ukraine in the field of use and protection of land resources. The methodological basis of the article is a set of general scientific and special research methods. In particular, the method of analysis allowed to study the features of the management of developed countries in the field of use and protection of land resources and to identify inconsistencies in the provisions of national legislation regulating land relations; The comparative legal method was used to compare foreign and Ukrainian experience of management in the field of use and protection of land resources, as well as the possibility of using certain measures aimed at the rational use of land in Ukraine. Two types of measures used in other countries to ensure the rational use and protection of land resources have been identified and considered: administrative (which are the form of implementation of state land policy and part of government activities) and economic (which are positive or negative incentives for land owners and users). The main problems that exist in the field of land management in Ukraine have been revealed. It has been emphasized that the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre performs at the same time diametrically opposed powers, which are conducive to corruption. It has been concluded that in order to ensure the rational use and protection of land resources, especially in the conditions of opening the land market in Ukraine, it is necessary to adopt the experience of more developed countries and make appropriate amendments to national legislation. ; Рассмотрен опыт управления зарубежных стран в сфере земельных отношений. This paper examines how soft power, nation branding and academic cooperation came together in the scholarship policy pursued by the Swedish Institute (SI) from 1995 to 2023. An investigation of the organisation's materials, scholarship statistics and feedback interviews with SI programme alumni suggests that the implementation of the scholarship policy was erratic during the study period. A comprehensive analysis of the Institute's efforts was carried out to describe the relationship between nation branding, soft power and education. The focus was on the principles and practices behind promoting Sweden's image in an international educational setting, the evolution of the Institute's scholarship policy and the effect of soft power and nation branding on a grantee's academic track. Interactions between the SI and grantees during and after their stay in the country and scholarship distribution were examined to understand the dynamics behind the scholarship policy. The study draws on the concepts of nation branding and soft power to explore the corresponding elements in certain regional and national cases during the study period. It is concluded that the Institute is an effective tool of Sweden's soft power, with its scholarship policy promoting the Government's official position on global social, economic and political development. SI grantees complete their chosen programmes and get acquainted with the country's social and political institutions. As of today, the educational component seems to be subordinate to nation branding and soft power.

The Westphalian system refers to the shifting of the supreme political authority from medieval practices to modern sovereign states and related concepts such as sovereignty, non-intervention, and international law. While the system has shaped the Western political environment since 1648, it has in fact not been validated for the rest of the world. In this paper, the idea that the Westphalian system has not opened a new avenue in the discipline of International Relations is exemplified by the case of the British occupation of the Mosul Vilayet. Contrary to the terms of the Mudros Armistice and Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen Points, the British illegally occupied Mosul. The occupation was a clear violation of the Westphalian principles and thus the British mandate regime encountered resistance from both the Ottoman Empire and further the Republic of Türkiye. Despite all resistance, Mosul was ceded to the Iraqi government under the British mandate after the war.
