A suspected patient with symptoms similar to coronavirus infection-19 was identified for the first time on January 8, 2020 in Korea. After that, the world was dominated by COVID-19. People all around the world must face a new society that will be changed by COVID-19. To prepare for such future, this study collected related words around the keyword COVID-19 and has predicted what risk factors and opportunity factors occur. As a result of SNA analysis by collecting news data from January to May, 2020, when COVID-19 was rapidly spreading, the key words "Prevention of epidemics", "Inspection", "Quarantine", "Infection", "Government", Keywords such as "Patient", "Addition", "Diffusion", "Judgment" and "Prohibition" have had important influences. Furthermore, COVID-19 has been affecting the daily lives of individual citizens, and their interest in the government response process increased. Therefore, the response to the new infectious disease must be quarantine based on science and technology and data, and it is imperative to establish a legal basis for using social facilities as treatment facilities.

This article aims to move knowledge beyond the first response, by outlining a framework for interpreting and evaluating the experiences of carers regarding their involvement in R&D work. The study adopted a descriptive and explorative qualitative design. The inclusion criterion to enroll in the study was being a career and having participated in an FGI in the ICS consultation phase. The sample of twelve participants ranged in age from 35 to 77 years (mean value 60 years). Data collection consisted of individual interviews, via the "Zoom" videoconference system, telephone or face-to-face, depending on the preferences of the participants. Face-to-face interviews were conducted at the university or a café. The result is participants emphasized the significance of lived experience and practical knowledge. There is a limited amount of systematic research carried out that also actively takes into account possible negative experiences, barriers, and issues.

Interviewing is one of the most common data collection tools in qualitative research. It is widely discussed in research methods classes and literature and considered as an invaluable tool for gathering facts and feelings. In this paper, I reflect systematically on the first 270 interviews conducted for a large-scale investigation into the English language learning history of Hong Kong university students. I discuss how existing literature served as a guide to interviewing but once in the field, I reflect on how I adapted and improvised to improve my interviewing skills. I also analyze and discuss the strategies I employed to encourage undergraduates in Hong Kong universities to reveal aspects of their English language learning experiences and the methods that I used to limit personal influence. I benefitted from recording my progress and reflecting on the interview process internally and with peers and supervisors. I hope my autoethnographic-like style will give fellow researchers the freedom to reflectively explore themselves and their interviewing techniques.

For this case study, we will focus on our quantitative analysis of a longitudinal dataset consisting of 598 emerging adult gay and bisexual men looking at how romantic relationship beliefs are associated with changes in condomless anal sex. Our aim in this case is to discuss the application of longitudinal modeling techniques for count data. Several considerations arise when analyzing longitudinal data for count-dependent variables. Typically, count-dependent variables are modeled using applications of Poisson regression. However, many times, behavioral outcomes exhibit greater variability than what would be predicted by the Poisson distribution (i.e., there are an excess number of "zeroes" in the data.) Thus, this case aims to describe the application of an applied generalized linear growth mixture model technique using Poisson regression to an analysis of sexual risk behavior among a cohort of young sexual minority men. We first discuss the background relating to sexual risk behavior. We then detail the process, challenges, and lessons learned in terms of performing zero-inflated Poisson growth models.

AbstractSawmills in Ontario are an important forest products industry, contributing to the economic prosperity of the entire province. However, these sawmills have been facing extreme competitive pressures, impacting their operational efficiency. This study uses a nonparametric technique, the bootstrap data envelopment analysis, to analyse the relative efficiencies of 125 Ontario sawmills over a period of 17 years (1999 to 2015). The results indicate low levels of overall technical and managerial efficiencies in Ontario sawmills, which have been further impacted by economic downturns. Further analysis reveals that the size of the sawmills has had a statistically significant impact on their relative technical efficiencies. The main source of inefficiency was the management of operations, particularly when these sawmills were not able to adjust their inputs with changing and uncertain market demand conditions. These results provide policymakers and sawmill managers with comprehensive details so that future resources can be reallocated to improve the performance of the Ontario forest products industry.

Digitisation processes in the public sector have led to an increase in innovative approaches for better service delivery using information and communication technology. Citizens, however, often have reservations towards e-government efforts due to concerns regarding data protection (DP) and data security (DS). This article is based on a mixed-methods design consisting of a media analysis and an online survey of 1000 respondents from the UK and Germany, which investigates the conception of DP and DS from the citizens' point of view. Results demonstrate that citizens do not fully understand the terminology used in newspaper articles concerning DP and DS. Moreover, findings show that DP and DS are of great importance to citizens. However, the perceived relevance of DP and DS varies between services, being strongest for online banking. Compared to the German citizens surveyed, the UK citizens displayed greater concerns about disclosing personal data online. Despite some differences, however, findings across both samples indicate a common lack of understanding of the two concepts DP and DS. The resulting citizen concept of DP and DS can help to mediate between politics, technology and the public in the discourse of e-government initiatives and the requirements for DP and DS. We argue that citizens' understanding of DP and DS is a prerequisite for governments to adequately address citizens' concerns regarding e-government initiatives.
