Die androzentrische neoliberale Ideologie transformiert nach der These der Autorin die generative Reproduktion in eine Hightech-Kapitalisierung des Körpers, die geschlechterspezifischen Machtverhältnisse in eine Pseudoaufhebung und die feministischen Anliegen in einen "Genderismus". Am Begriff und an der Praxis der Selbstbestimmung von Frauen im Kontext der Neuen Frauenbewegung kann dieser "Raubbau" verdeutlicht werden. Die Autorin diskutiert hierzu die Selbstbestimmung als politisches Projekt des Feminismus, als Bestandteil der neoliberalen und technologischen Wende sowie als Nicht-Text im "Genderismus". Sie zeigt, dass die aktuell erforderliche Selbstregierung der Individuen die Vereinnahmung eines ehemals politischen und kollektiven Autonomieethos darstellt, das heute buchstäblich verkauft wird. Die Reanimierung einer "feminist citizenship" wäre daher eine wichtige Aufgabe der Gegenwart. (ICI2)

The excellent papers in this symposium warrant our close attention for
the cardinal reason that they teach citizenship in the global world. They
arm us with ideas, concrete techniques, and specialized skill sets to
reach this goal. The simple importance of learning to function well in a
global society belies the complexity of achieving it. These papers give us
tools as well as provide motivation to confront this challenge.

Der Verfasser diskutiert die Dynamik der Entwicklung einer globalen Sozialpolitik. Er untersucht die Erkenntnispotentiale der normativen politischen und Sozialtheorie sowie die Auffassungen von Nationalstaats- und Weltbürgerschaft. Die in globaler Perspektive bestehenden extremen sozialen Ungleichheiten führen zur Frage, wie soziale Rechte und Bürgerschaften im globalen Kontext zu begreifen sind. Auf der Grundlage sozialer Rechte und Citizenship widmet sich der Autor der Analyse der transnationalen sozialen Frage. In einer durch die systemische Differenzierungstheorie und neoinstitutionalistische Weltgesellschaftstheorie angeleiteten Analyse wird gezeigt, dass mit einer modernisierungstheoretisch begründeten Übernahme westlicher Sozialmodelle auch auf transnationaler Ebene nicht zu rechnen ist. Globaler Ungleichheit kann nicht durch eine "institutionelle Monokultur" begegnet werden, sondern nur durch differenzierte Institutionen und Formen der Partizipation der Bürger. (ICG)
