Open science is a category that has been gradually assimilated by academia to encompass research experiences characterized by the distributed location of cognitive resources and infrastructures, collaborative work practices and interaction patterns based on open licences. In this article we propose to explore the management of open science projects from a sociotechnical approach. To this end, in the first instance, the characteristics of this approach are explained as an expression of an integral understanding of knowledge, science and technology; subsequently, the adequacy of some notions of project management to the perspective of development of knowledge assets in open science is exposed, and later an analysis of an experience of open science project management carried out in a Research and Development center is offered. As a result, a set of approaches is presented to support the relevance of the sociotechnical approach as part of a theoretical-methodological platform for project management linked to open science.

The present paper constitutes a partial report of the results until now obtained, del investigation project "the conceptions that based the initial formation of professors of sciences on the Superior Normal School of Colombia, from its beginning to 1952" stand out the dominant conceptions and its foundation of the denominated social studies of science or sociology is fitted inside del knowledge. Reference to made investigations is done that show the thought class that dominated in Colombia with respect to the technologies and the studied problem of the paper of Mutis in the introduction of Newtonian dynamics in the "Virreinato La Nueva Granada". In the same way, it is alluded to the social history of chemistry in the country, in regard to which the creation of the chemistry studies, obeyed to the same cultural, political and economic conditions that gave origin to the Superior Normal School of Colombia ; Se presentan los resultados obtenidos del proyecto de investigación titulado "Las concepciones que fundamentaron la formación inicial de profesores de ciencias en la Escuela Normal Superior de Colombia, desde su inicio hasta 1952". Se destacan las concepciones dominantes y se encuadra su fundación dentro de los denominados estudios sociales de la ciencia o sociología del conocimiento. Se referencian investigaciones publicadas que muestran la clase de pensamiento que dominaba en Colombia con respecto a las tecnologías y el estudiado problema del papel de Mutis en la introducción de la dinámica newtoniana en el Virreinato de la Nueva Granada. "In light of the increasing importance of social innovation, this paper explores the question of what (new) roles social sciences can play in analyzing and shaping social innovation. The paper starts with an overview of the current situation and the perspectives of socio-scientific innovation research that have greatly contributed to the development and spread of an enlightened socio-scientific understanding of innovation. Against the backdrop of clear paradoxes and confusion in prevailing politics of innovation, the contours of a new innovation paradigm are becoming visible and causing social innovation to grow in importance. Consistently, the social sciences will be challenged to redefine their functions with regard to innovation. In the past, innovation research in the context of social sciences has contributed heavily to explain the social dimensions, the complexity and paradoxa of innovation processes. Henceforth, much will depend on realigning the range of competencies of social science and social scientists by contributing actively to the development and integration of innovations as well as by developing social innovation." Buddhism has always produced epistemological systems, and those of the Mahāyāna, in particular, always showed knowledge and perception to be inherently delusive. "Higher" forms of Buddhism have a degenerative philosophy of history according to which a sort of Golden Age was disrupted by the rise and gradual development of knowledge and the delusion inherent in it, which have reached their apex in our time – the final phase of the "Era of Darkness." From this standpoint, this paper intends to show science, in which Marcuse saw an inherent instrumental/technological interest, to have been developed by delusion and to have simultaneously furthered the development of delusion, to the point at which they begot the deadly ecological crisis proper to this concluding phase of the Era of Darkness – which reveals as such the delusion at its root, achieving the latter's empirical reductio ad absurdum and offering us the possibility of eradicating it and thus healing our minds and, hopefully, our world.
