Research has become a core areas in higher education. There are number of government grants to promote research in various fields. In recent years, many universities and funding authorities have adopted research integrity policies LaFollette, 1992 Duquet, 1993 .Research productivity should be the main highlight for any faculty who want to be a part of competitive advantage. A model is created wherein it is stated that research push and right mind set can lead one to attain competitive advantage in an environment which it is very competitive. The survey was based on primary data. Only women faculties were targeted for this survey. Out of total 167 sample, 83 respondents were married and 82 respondents were spinsters. Divorcee were nil hence they were excluded from the study. Different colleges were surveyed according to the prescribed time given by them. Hence a field research was done through personal and group interview. As the study was a diagnostic surveys so fact findings enquiries were executed through cross tabulation, skewness and kurtosis and normal Q Q plots. Some significant facts have been observed from this study. This research paper is also based on secondary data for finalization of views and opinions which has been sourced from published literature. Notions of integration in European research are traced from the 1960s-1990s through the paradigms of assimilation, integration, & citizenship. The influence of North American concepts about integration on European research has been substantial, but this has led to an uncomfortable translation into European immigration policy. With the advent of the European Union, opportunities for cross-national integration research within Europe have expanded & professional nongovernmental organizations have also become involved. However, a review of current European integration research for Belgium, France, GB, & the Netherlands, supplemented with reference to Austria, Germany, & Scandinavia, reveals how integration scholarship has reproduced nation-state-centered & nation-society reasoning that neglects the evolving relation between migrants & ethnic minorities & the European host societies. This neglect is also seen in commissioned research on immigration policy & in national & census studies on immigrants. Clear cross-national studies are still difficult; a better understanding of cross-national diversity & difference requires common categorization of migrants & minorities, & definition & measurement of a common dependent variable at various political levels. 173 References. Translational research organizations (TROs) face specific challenges to secure resilience and longevity. This perspective article provides the rationale for six hands-on recommendations for the management of legitimacy building in TROs.

The National Council on Family Relations identified translation of research and dissemination of family science knowledge as critical skills for students and new professionals. To build these skills in future professionals, the authors developed an infographic assignment to teach students how to research and communicate a current family science topic to a non-academic audience of their choice. The assignment is a semester-long project grounded in experiential, constructivist learning theories. The authors provide students with step-by-step instructions for choosing a topic, writing a thesis statement, conducting background research, choosing how to highlight family research, creating an infographic using free software, and presenting their outcomes to fellow students. The authors include instructions for conducting and implementing the assignment, a sample grading rubric, and an example of student work. Anecdotal and experiential evidence supports the effectiveness of this assignment, although a systematic study is warranted to confirm instructor observations.

This paper focuses on conducting research in conflict or post-conflict areas and dilemmas faced by researchers when visiting these places. It outlines some of the practical, methodological, normative and ethical issues that may engulf a researcher's mind prior to or while visiting these areas. These include access to the conflict zone, the insider/outsider debate, the feasibility of interviewing civilians and armed combatants, informed consent of the locals, the importance of the socio-cultural context, distinction between victims and perpetrators of violence, assessing trauma in conflict and post-conflict zones, and expectations of the locals. The attempt to highlight these issues does not imply that these are the only questions of concern while conducting research in conflict or post-conflict zones. However, these issues relate to the experiences of the author while travelling to such areas.

Information security and assurance are an increasingly critical issue in health research. Whether health research be in genetics, new drugs, disease outbreaks, biochemistry, or effects of radiation, it deals with information that is highly sensitive and which could be targeted by rogue individuals or groups, corporations, national intelligence agencies, or terrorists, looking for financial, social, or political gains. The advents of the Internet and advances in recent information technologies have also dramatically increased opportunities for attackers to exploit sensitive and valuable information.

Utilising a case study of evidence-based policy (EBP) commissioned by government we explore how academic outputs can serve several purposes, depending on the political milieu and the values and ideologies of any given party. Our commissioned research was being carried out in the context of significant policy change for lone parents in Ireland which saw the introduction of labour market activation. The research was initially used by the then Government to appease the Opposition to the highly emotive policy change. Following a general election, Opposition and advocacy groups called on policymakers to acknowledge the report they had commissioned. Concepts of research(er) deficit, normative reality and a shifting 'policy agora' are explored to highlight how the political context shaped the uptake of the research findings. We followed the debate by drawing on publicly available documentary evidence relevant to the policy of lone parent activation in Ireland from pertinent parliamentary and committee debates involving all stakeholders, that is the Government, civil servants, Opposition and advocacy groups, to ascertain what happened with the research and why did it happen. Attention is given to the consequences of producing outputs that diverge from political values and ideologies, whereby research can be subject to manipulation to discredit and invalidate findings.

Objectives: Intervention fidelity is a critical strategy to help advance the usefulness and integrity of social work research. This study assessed the extent to which a selected sample of published social work intervention researchers reported its intervention protocols. Methods: Six core social work journals were reviewed in this analysis. The authors reviewed every scholarly article within each journal published from 2009 through 2013 ( N = 1,380). A total of N = 32 (2.3%) published intervention research articles met the inclusion criteria. All N = 32 studies were evaluated using 11 criteria developed by the research team related to assessing the study's treatment fidelity. Results: The finding suggests that although attention to treatment fidelity in social work research has increased, methodological inconsistencies still remain. Conclusion: Effective social work research of an intended intervention is largely dependent on the intervention's fidelity. Implications for social work practice and research are discussed.

Littering continues to be a problem worldwide. The purpose of this article is to update earlier systematic reviews on littering and using a scorecard of seven social marketing components, assess the extent of social marketing use in identified littering programs. Following Center for Reviews and Dissemination guidelines, the search included all peer-reviewed studies published between 1995 and 2015 in the English language available through 10 databases. A total of 1,220 articles were initially identified and resulted in a final set of 17 that met the study criteria. The analysis revealed key insights including a lack of social marketing use in litter prevention efforts to date providing an opportunity for future research. Limitations of the current study and opportunities for future research are outlined.
