Method of an election, the participation of voters and political parties to the election without barriers, conducting a free and fair election, credibility of election's result, as well as legitimacy of the government, are one of the arguable issues in Bangladeshi politics. The 10th general election in Bangladesh was held on 05 January 2014 with the lack of all of the criteria of legitimacy. The ruling Bangladesh Awami League (BAL) government was accused to use all possible ways to prevent the opposition political parties from participating the election as a result Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) led opposition political parties boycotted the national election in the issue of caretaker government (CTG) and the BAL came in power again without any competition. The majority of parliament members (MPs) were elected without any contest, voters' turnout was about 22.66%, a lot of polling centers were empty, a large number of opposition party leaders and candidates were arrested, and many people died in the clash. Local and International experts, observers, and donor agencies expressed their dissatisfaction with the credibility of the election although the ruling party claimed the election was free and fair. The BAL government had faced a legitimacy crisis both at home and abroad. From 2014 to 2018 Bangladesh had missed all norms of democracy practically but formally it was a "democratic regime"! The main question of the research is how the 2014 national election made the BAL govt. illegitimate? For this study the data was collected from both primary and secondary sources what includes books, articles, newspapers, periodicals, statements of the political parties; statements of the various election observers' organizations as well as Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) both national and international. The United States Supreme Court's treatment of the first amendment's religion clauses over the last fifty years has generated considerable controversy. While few religion clause cases reached the Supreme Court prior to 1940, the number steadily multiplied once the first amendment was incorporated into the fourteenth amendment. The Court's doctrinal development was incremental and uncertain, but by 1971 the Court had developed a test for each of the religion clauses to evaluate the constitutionality of challenged state action. Although these tests have not been followed with perfect fidelity, they have been the starting point for virtually all of the religion clause cases decided by trial and appellate courts in the last fifteen years. Only recently has a majority of the Court shown willingness to depart from the basic philosophy contained in these two tests.

PURPOSE: This study examined the current prevalence of electronic health records (EHRs) in Korea and identified the factors that impede or facilitate the adoption of EHRs. METHODS: We surveyed all tertiary teaching and general hospitals in Korea. The degree to which EHR systems were adopted was evaluated using the previously defined definitions of 'comprehensive' and 'basic' EHRs based on their electronic functionality. The effects of teaching status, size, and location of hospitals on EHR adoption were examined. We also investigated factors that impeded or facilitated the adoption of EHR systems. RESULTS: The response rate was 39.0% (122/313), and 37.2% (95% confidence interval [CI] 31.9-42.6%) of Korean tertiary teaching and general hospitals had either basic or comprehensive EHR systems (50.2% of tertiary teaching hospitals, 35.0% of general hospitals). However, only 5.0% (CI 2.6-7.4%) had comprehensive EHR systems. Most Korean tertiary teaching and general hospitals, i.e., 87.0% (95% CI, 83.3-90.7%), have implemented computerized provider order-entry (CPOE) systems for medications, with larger hospitals more likely than smaller ones to have adopted some sort of EHRs (p-value<0.001). However, the prevalence of these systems did not differ according to the location of the hospital (metropolitan vs. non-metropolitan). According to the survey data, the capital requirements and high maintenance costs of EHR systems were the major barriers to their adoption, and government reimbursement or incentives were the most requested facilitators of their adoption. CONCLUSION: The rate at which EHR and CPOE for medications systems have been adopted by Korean tertiary teaching and general hospitals was higher than the rate of adoption by US hospitals. Financial aspects are reported to be the most important facilitators of and barriers to EHR adoption. Abstract
The core question guiding this research is: What happens when the project of racial justice, specifically, anti-black racism, is taken on by white progressive Christians and their churches? Acknowledging religion as racialized allows our scholarship to be more discerning and less naive, especially regarding the true potential of racial justice—even among those who are most faithfully attempting to become antiracist. Drawing from preliminary data collected from congregations in the United States and Canada aligned with the Alliance of Baptists, a denomination explicitly committed to antiracism, I focus on a few significant dynamics, briefly summarized under seven themes: (1) Getting It Right, (2) The Volunteer Antiracist, (3) Congregational Politics, (4) Encountering Resistance, (5) Soliciting Cooperation, (6) Instrumentalizing Whiteness as a Ready Tool, and (7) Affirmation from Black Members. As data collection continues, this research remains open to developing more insights and revising tentative conclusions as the analysis proceeds further.

The 2018 Italian general elections were a crucial test to assess the resilience of mainstream parties vis-à-vis the challenge provided by populist forces and the stabilisation of the tripolar party system emerged in 2013. The article analyses the outcome of the election, whose most remarkable result was the unprecedented success of two populist parties, the M5S and the Lega, by focusing on key aspects such as the new electoral system, the coalition-building process, the electoral campaign, the evolution of the Italian party system, and the analysis of vote shifts between parties.

Desde una perspectiva tradicional, ciencia y religión son consideradas incompatibles y las personas que participan en uno u otro grupo se encuentran enfrentadas por una visión diferente y hasta antagónica del mundo. Sin dejar de reconocer que han existido conflictos entre unos y otros en la historia, investigadores especializados rechazan estas interpretaciones que no se adecúan a todos los casos, mostrando que ciertas personas construyeron sus trayectorias conviviendo en estos dos ámbitos. Ciertamente, este ha sido el caso de Emiliano J. Mac Donagh (1896-1961), un destacado académico católico, especializado en la zoología de vertebrados, en particular, en el estudio de la fauna ictícola de agua dulce en Argentina. En este trabajo analizaremos la inserción y participación de Mac Donagh en el ámbito universitario, en agencias estatales y en los grupos católicos. Al centrarnos en su trayectoria y diversas inscripciones institucionales, nos proponemos demostrar que en las perspectivas y experiencias de algunos académicos de las décadas de 1930 y 1950, la participación simultánea en esas tres esferas en modo alguno era considerada como expresiva de lógicas y prácticas sociales antagónicas, excluyentes o contradictorias sino, más bien, como opciones académicas, profesionales, confesionales y políticas complementarias, solidarias o contiguas, si bien no exentas de conflictos. ; From a traditional perspective, science and religion are considered incompatible and people involved in one or other group are confronted by a different and even antagonistic view of the world. While recognizing that there have been conflicts between them in the history, specialized researchers reject these interpretations that are not suited to all cases, showing that certain people built their careers in these two areas. Certainly, this has been the case of Emiliano J. Mac Donagh (1896-1961), a prominent catholic scholar, specialising in zoology of vertebrates, in particular in the study of Argentina freshwater fish fauna. In this paper we will discuss the inclusion and participation of Mac Donagh at the University level, State agencies and Catholic groups. To focus on his career and various institutional registrations, we intend to demonstrate that the perspectives and experiences of some academic from decades of 1930 and 1950, simultaneous participation in these three areas in any way was considered how expressive logics and social practices antagonistic, mutually exclusive or contradictory, but rather as complementary academic, professional, religious, and political options solidarity or contiguous, although not free of conflict. ; Fil: Rodríguez, Laura Graciela. In 2022, the author of this article spoke at the conference "Breakthrough to the Transcendent" dedicated to the outstanding historian of philosophy and an original Russian thinker – Piama Pavlovna Gaidenko (1934–2021). The speech was expanded by him in the essay "Piama Gaidenko and the philosophers of the Sixties", published in the Istoriko-Filisofskii Ezhegodnik (Iss. 37). In these texts however, the large-scale scientific work done by P.P. Gaidenko did not find proper coverage. In the current publication, the author is trying to fill this gap. The article is a detailed comparison of two editions: P.P. Gaidenko's monography "The Evolution of the Concept of Science", published in 1980, and the book "Philosophical and Religious Origins of Science" (1997), prepared under her sci­entific editorship and with her author's participation. One of the main ideas de­fended in these works, first covertly, then directly, is the idea that historically the construction of scientific concepts is largely determined by the image of God that culture sets. The author supports this idea, equips it with new arguments and raises it to the interpretation of religious studies as an obligatory prerequisite for a thorough, qualified science. Special attention is paid to the stimulating influence of religion on science, which distinguished the Renaissance and Reformation; the phenomenon of Renaissance Titanism; the socio – cultural context of the scien­tific revolution of the XVI–XVII centuries. A special topic is the methodology of building a memorial narrative and preserving heritage as a living, creatively ef­fective tradition, discussed in the mode of responsible benevolent criticism.
