В статье анализируется идеологические условия и реалии в деятельности татарской творческой интеллигенции в 1945-1953 гг. Во многом она определялась постановлением ЦК ВКП (б) «О состоянии и мерах улучшения массово-политической и идеологической работы в Татарской партийной организации», принятом 70 лет назад, а именно 9 августа 1944 г. Автор акцентирует внимание на сведениях, не получивших должного освещения в исторической литературе. В статье освещается развернувшаяся в 1951 г. на страницах журнала «Вопросы истории» дискуссия республиканских историков о происхождении, этногенезе татарского народа. Вниманию читателей представлены отчетные материалы и письменные уведомления работников Главлита Татарской АССР в послевоенный период. В новых условиях, когда враг был изгнан с территории страны, идеологические «поблажки», допускавшиеся в силу чрезвычайных обстоятельств военного времени, отменялись… Со всей очевидностью замечания цензоров показывают, с какой тщательностью они выискивали и пресекали малейшие намеки, подвергавшие сомнению репутацию коммунистической партии, проводившуюся в республике социальную политику. «Вычерки» цензоров абсолютно точно указывают на установление в стране очередного этапа репрессивной политики по отношению к национальной культуре. ; The article analyzes the ideological conditions of Tatar creative intelligentsia's activity in 1945 1953 years. In many ways, it was determined by the CC of the CPSU (b) "On the status and measures to improve mass political and ideological work in the Tatar Party organization", adopted 70 years ago on August 9, 1944.The author focuses on data that have not received adequate coverage in the historical literature. The article highlights debate unfolded in 1951 in the journal "Questions of History" between republican historians about the origin, the ethnogenesis of the Tatar people. Here are the deliverables and written notification of employees Glavlit Tatar ASSR in the postwar period. Under the new conditions, when the enemy was driven from the country, the ideological "indulgence" is allowed in exceptional circumstances of wartime, canceled. Сensors comments сlearly show they meticulously sought out and suppress the slightest hints are questioning the reputation of the Communist Party, held in the Republic social policy. The «deletions» of the censors exactly indicate about the establishment of the next stage in the country's repressive policies towards the national culture.

The study is aimed at examining the intermediate results of the consideration of the problem of ethnogenesis and ethno-cultural identity of the Pomors in the domestic science of the XVIII – early XXI centuries. The re-search methodology is based on the principles of systemacity and historicism and includes methods of biblio-graphic analysis and systematization of information, problem-chronological method, comparative-historical method. Two opposing models of Pomor genesis and identity are characterized, one of which is based on con-structivism, the other on a moderate situativist approach and traditional conceptual apparatus. It is shown that the consequence of different interpretations of the results of scientific research was the identification of two opposite models of the genesis and identity of the Pomors, one of which methodologically relies on constructiv-ism with an external appeal to Paleoeuropean and Finno-Ugric cultural and genetic primordialism, the other – on a moderate (taking into account the primordialist principles) situationist approach and traditional conceptual and conceptual apparatus. Within the framework of the developments of the second model, it is proved that the process of formation of the Pomeranian community took not only the period of the mature and late Middle Ag-es, but also of Modern times and consisted of several local "genetic infusions" into the Slavic environment while preserving the cultural and linguistic components of the latter. Based on the analysis and understanding of the existing bibliography array, a number of conclusions and recommendations are made, the consideration of which is intended to ensure the scientific productivity of further research on the topic. These include the need to abandon the use of the concept of "protopomora" and statements about the stable genetic antiquity and ge-netic unity of the Pomors, the expediency of chronotypic localization of the concept of "Pomorie", the unscien-tific use of the White Sea dialects, the pidgin "Russenorsk" and the history of Bespop communities of the Pomor as ethnic markers, the correctness of considering the Pomors as primarily a socio-economic group, the rele-vance of the application of the primordial conceptual apparatus in cultural terms, relying on the Russian lan-guage basis, etc.

The article is dedicated to Dimitrii Dan (1856–1927), a well-known Bucovina priest, historian, ethnographer, folklorist, paleographer, collector of ancient historical documents and museum organizer, corresponding member of the Romanian Academy of Sciences. The purpose of scientific research is to study the life path of D. Dan on the basis of available historical sources. Such a study is relevant, since a full biography of the academician is not available in the Ukrainian scientific circulation. Its coverage in the most detailed form represents a scientific novelty. The method of the papper based on the study of archival documents, books and articles of D. Dan, memoir literature, periodicals and correspondence. Conclusions. Dimitrii Dan's life path is a synthesis of love for family and friends, for God and research. Great diligence, inquisitiveness and fruitfulness are characteristic of this path. How priest D. Dan took care of church affairs, explained the theological questions needed by clergymen, gave examples from the past of exploits of authoritative representatives of the clergy. As an ethnographer, he familiarized the reader with ethnogenesis, settlement, culture and daily life, inter-ethnic relations of ethnic groups of Bukovyna: Ruthenians (Ukrainians), Armenians, Jews, Lipovans, Gypsies. Folklore publications of Bukovyna and beyond eagerly awaited his collected songs, beliefs, proverbs, poems, legends, etc. His historical works, devoted to villages, monasteries, churches, personalities, were based on a various source base consisting of authentic historical documents, excellent knowledge of archeography and paleography. With his characteristic enthusiasm, he engaged in the protection of monuments and the organization of museums. D. Dan was always a patriot of his people, he cared about the development of the Romanian language, culture and history. As a member of the National Council, he took part in the General Unification Congress of Bukovyna, which took place in 1918 in Chernivtsi. His fruitful activity was noted by the church leadership, the community, the governments of Austria-Hungary and Romania. For his scientific activity, D. Dan received the title of corresponding member of the Romanian Academy of Sciences. Streets in Radivtsi and Suceava were named in his honor. Today, his work has again gained relevance in the scientific circles of Romania and Ukraine

Introduction. The problem of studying the ethnogenesis and ethnic history of ancient and medieval peoples appeared immediately after the formation of archaeology as a science. At first, archaeologists tried to identify the bearers of archaeological cultures with specific ethnic groups, and then they began to determine cultural-historical communities and color them ethnically. In the anthropological context, cultural-historical communities exist in the form of paleopopulations or samples. The question of the relationship between the materials of the monument and the sample is legitimate since often the archaeological and anthropological contexts do not coincide. Methods and materials. The work is based on a comparison of data from an anthropological sample (paleopopulation) and cultural and chronological definitions of archaeological complexes from where the material originated. For this, both the results of studies published by the author and new data, which were studied by the methods of simple and multivariate statistics, were used. Analysis and discussion. Comparative analysis of the Sauromat-Sarmatian materials shows that the series of previous and subsequent cultures often show great similarity, which can be explained not only by the continuity of the population but also by the fact that the chronological groups are members of the same paleopopulation. In addition, there are a number of complexes of the transitional period that are culturally defined by different archaeologists in different ways. Another aspect, which is considered in the article, is connected with the materials of the same burial ground or even a mound-cemetery of the Middle and Late Bronze Age. With the relative synchronism of the burials, a different cultural interpretation (variant, culture) is given, which leads to significant difficulties in the study of anthropological materials, the results of which also allow us to assume that all individuals belong to the same population. Conclusions. The problem associated with the procedure of sampling for bioarchaeological research has a long history, and it needs to be solved in the context of the archaeological source being studied. It is necessary to constantly compare the monument data with the results of the sample study, rethink, revise, and test them, and determine how reliable they are and whether they fall into the confidence interval.

The paper presents a content review of "the International Relations of Ukraine: Scientific Searches and Findings" (issues 1-29 from 1991 to 2020). The author highlights that after Ukraine regained its independence in 1991, a wide network of Ukrainian periodicals in the humanities was established. These periodicals perform an important coordinating function, accumulate the efforts of authors, editors and reviewers from different regions of Ukraine and foreign countries and unite them into united teams, as well as reflect trends in scientific development, provide an opportunity to discuss topical issues, influence the dynamics of conceptual updating of socio-humanitarian disciplines in Ukraine. In 1991, the first specialised periodical on world history in independent Ukraine – the Yearbook "International Relations of Ukraine: Scientific Searches and Findings" – was created. The purpose of this Yearbook is to coordinate research carried out by representatives of "the Historical European Studies" Ukrainian academic school. The founders of this school are corresponding members of the NAS of Ukraine F.P. Shevchenko (1914-1995), I.M. Mel'nykova (1918-2010) and P.S. Sokhan' (1926-2013). Since 1991, corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine S.V. Vidnyanskyj heads the Department of World History and International Relations (since 2012 the Department of the History of International Relations and Foreign Policy of Ukraine) and leads the aforementioned academic school. In general, the papers published in "the International Relations of Ukraine: Scientific Searches and Findings" from 1991 to 2020 contribute to the reconstruction of a broad panorama of international relations in the lands of Ukraine from the times of Kyivan Rus' until the early 21st century. During its almost thirty-year history, the Yearbook has become an influential periodical of Central and Eastern Europe, contributing to the coordination of fundamental research on world history and the understanding of key issues in world history and Ukraine's place in it

The article is devoted to the consideration of the ethnonym origins and the formation of the Buryat tribe "Khongodor". The study of this topic is one of the current problems, the resolution of which can clarify some unknown aspects of the ethnogenesis and ethnic history of the Buryats, as well as the origin of its separate local component. This article presents a new version, according to which the emergence of the ethnonym of the Buryat tribe was associated with ethnopolitical processes that took place in the early Buryat community. And this ethnopolitical community was dominated by Bulagats. This was indicated by the etymological analysis of the ethnonym "Khongodor" and the names of the main genera. These names indicate the dependent position of the bearers of these names on the leading Association. It explains the formation of the generic kernel Khongodors presented by these two groups. Its ethnic basis is based on the Oirat component, known in the Buryat tradition as "Segenut" or "Olet". This ethnic element is also characterized by the presence of a Turkic admixture. This proves the Mongol origin of the Khongodor core. It was part of the early inhabitants of the Western Baikal region and did not represent a tribal formation during the period of Bulagat domination. Changes in the ethnic history of the Khongodors occur in the second half of the 17th century. This aspect is connected with the external factors – the military and political influence of the Russian state and the migration of Mongolian groups to the territory of Buryatia. All this had an impact on the internal structure of the Buryat community. The study proves that due to the Russian influence, which caused a violation of established ties within the Buryat community, conditions for the formation of an ethnolocal Khongodor association arose. From the Khongodors and Mongol groups (Khotogouts, Torgouts, Zungars), the Russian authorities organized an administrative formation that gave rise to the tribal formation. In the process of living together on the same administrative territory, they become aware of unity and form a common genealogical relationship. They take a common name and form a tribe. All this happened in the 18–19th centuries.

В статье исследуется органический принцип евразийской философии, сформированный в 20-30-х гг. ХХ в., получивший развитие в теории этногенеза Л. Н. Гумилева. Органический принцип выступает здесь как основа особого стиля мышления, смыслополагания, и определенной методологии научного познания. Евразийская методология изучения развития социума позволяет установить характер связей между социальными процессами и явлениями живой природы. В статье раскрыты важнейшие составляющие евразийского органического принципа мышления: особая терминология и возможности ее применения для описания и прогнозирования социальных явлений. А также отмечены предпосылки изменения господствующего в современной науке стиля мышления. Автор раскрывает преимущества органического принципа евразийской методологии в решении национальных политических, социально-экономических и культурных проблем, а также возможные перспективы его использования для формирования научной методологии в XXI в. ; In the article, the organic principle of the Euroasian philosophy is studied. The organic principle acts as a basis of special style of thinking and a certain methodology of scientific knowledge here. The Euroasian methodology of studying of development of society allows establishing of the nature of communications between social processes and the phenomena of wildlife. In the article, the most important components of the Euroasian organic principle of thinking are shown: special terminology and possibilities of its application for the description and forecasting of the social phenomena. Prerequisites of change of the style of thinking dominating in modern science are also noted. The author considers advantages of the organic principle of the Euroasian methodology in solution of national political, social-economic and cultural problems and in possible prospects of its use for formation of scientific methodology. The organic principle of thinking creates complex idea of reality, which can appear before us new, party unknown earlier. Lack of division of sensual experience and "pure reason", irrational and rational in organic thinking is unconditional advantage of organic approach. Organic principle presented by the Euroasian philosophical organization of the beginning of the twentieth century and continued by Lev Gumilev in the theory of ethnogenesis acts as alternative developed in the west of one-dimensional, mechanistic methodology. It can be told with confidence that owning all of variety of intellectual traditions is necessary for the modern humankind to become capable to realize global ecological threats and negative consequences of influence of culture in which ethics of individualism prevails.

Abstract: Recent scholarship has shown that there is no solid archaeological or epigraphic evidence to deem the narratives about the rise to kingship of David and his son Solomon as reflecting the rise and consolidation of Israel as a Nation-State during the 10th century BCE. It is rather during the 9th century in the Palestinian highlands that we can find the emergence of a socio-political entity named Bīt Humri/ya or Israel in the contemporary archaeological and epigraphic records, but with an ambiguous character as a state. In this paper, it is suggested the possibility that the rise of such a polity and the constitution of an ethnogenesis are notably and directly related to the appearance of the Arabian network of exchanges in the early first millennium BCE in the Near East. Furthermore, from a critical point of view, one may suggest that there is no direct ethnic connection between the kingdoms of Israel and Judah and the later Jewish cults of Yahweh in Palestine. ; Resumen: Recientes estudios han demostrado que la historicidad de las narrativas del acceso al trono de David y de su hijo Salomón, como reflejo fidedigno del surgimiento y consolidación de Israel como un Estado-Nación hacia el siglo X a.C., no puede ser confirmada en el registro arqueológico o en el epigráfico. Así pues, es realmente durante el siglo IX a.C. en las tierras altas de Palestina que podemos detectar el surgimiento de una entidad sociopolítica mayor conocida como Bīt Humri/ya o Israel, de acuerdo con los registros arqueológico y epigráfico contemporáneos, pero de un carácter estatal ciertamente ambiguo. En este artículo sostenemos la posibilidad de que la aparición de esta entidad así como la constitución de una etnogénesis estén relacionadas, de manera notable y directa, con la aparición del comercio árabe en el Cercano Oriente a principios del primer milenio a.C. Más aún, desde un punto de vista crítico, se puede postular que no existe una conexión directa, en términos de etnicidad, entre los reinos de Israel y Judá de la Edad del Hierro y los posteriores cultos judíos a Yahweh en la Palestina helenístico-romana.
