This article analyses the way in which Piaget links the analogy between the child and the primitive with a theory of the history of the sciences, that is, it analyses Piaget's version of Haeckel's principle in which ontogenesis recapitulates phylogenesis. From this analysis, we reconstitute the operations through which Piaget forms and expresses his conception of logic. In other words, we attempt to reconstruct the characteristic space of Piaget's non‐objectivated choices and positions that determines the conception of logic operative in his scientific and epistemological work.

Die Entwicklung der Zivilisationstheorie von Norbert Elias ist bisher mehr in die Breite der Anwendung und Umsetzung auf kulturgeschichtliche Fallbeispiele gegangen, weniger in die Tiefe einer empirischen Fundierung ihres Zentrums, nämlich des Konzepts der Psychogenese. Eine angemessene empirische Fundierung der Zivilisationstheorie liegt allerdings - so Georg W. Oesterdiekhoff - bereit: im Psychogenesekonzept der genetischen Epistemologie Jean Piagets und der davon ausgehenden Cross-Cultural Psychology. Im Psychogenesekonzept Jean Piagets sieht Oesterdiekhoff nicht nur den Schlüssel zum inneren Verständnis des zivilisationstheoretischen Psychogenesekonzepts, sondern auch den wissenschaftlichen Erben der Rationalisierungs- und Zivilisierungskonzeptionen der klassischen Soziologie.
