Critics of Roe v. Wade have dubbed the decision "an exercise of raw judicial power," while advocates of the right to privacy have consistently argued that the decision merely gave substance to an unenumerated constitutional right. Rather than confining discussion of Roe to the idiom of rights, however, it is important to note that policymakers in GB & Australia also reformed their criminal abortion statutes between 1967 & 1973.
