Diskussion der Probleme von Enteignung und Entschädigung in Kenia nach dem "Land Acquisition Act". Entschädigung ist grundsätzlich verfassungsmäßig garantiert, doch wird die konkrete gesetzliche und richterliche Auslegung kritisiert. Probleme entstehen vor allem bei einer Zunahme von Enteignungen zugunsten sozialer Entwicklungsprojekte und bei der Bemessung des Marktwertes von Grund und Boden, wenn dieser eher ideellen, wie z.B. religiösen Zwecken diente.
