Esta investigación quiere mostrar a través de una serie de artistas contemporáneas que utilizan como medio de reivindicación procesos creativos donde el concepto de dolor se hace explícito, unas con el fin de alcanzar otras realidades y otras por la misma vivencia. Un proceso donde la espiritualidad se manifiesta como un camino de descubrimiento que les permite alcanzar otras realidades y una rica estética. Artistas que han tenido también como referentes a grandes maestras de la espiritualidad. Producciones que no solo sirven a las artistas para mostrar el sufrimiento, sino como un medio de lucha en esta sociedad para reivindicar los derechos de la mujer. Un hecho que no solo se da por individual, sino de forma colectiva, en ese sentido este artículo muestra cómo diferentes artistas utilizan los mismos conceptos, incluso siendo un medio donde comisarios y agentes artísticos han dejado testimoniado a través de exposiciones.

Hemos querido que el presente estudio en su metodología fuese dúctil, adaptándose a las diferentes situaciones que ha propiciado nuestra investigación en los diversos campos y disciplinas que hemos tenido en cuenta. Texto que se ha trascrito a partir de una metodología de investigación fundamentada en el cruce de diferentes referentes bibliográficos, relacionados con los conceptos tratados. Los que más tarde se han analizado tras la selección de aquellos aspectos que nos sirvan de marco referencial y conceptual. La investigación responde, por un lado, a la especificidad en el ámbito de las Bellas Artes, apoyado en el análisis y la consulta del propio contexto de la práctica artística. Para ello se ha indagado en escritos de especialistas, catálogos de exposiciones, críticas de arte, monografías de artistas, revistas de arte, artículos y, se ha visitado exposiciones y colecciones de arte. Más tarde, se ha procedido a una selección y catalogación de creadoras plásticas y obras significativas para los intereses específicos del tema

The European Union, created -in its previous versions- by the Treaties of Paris (1951) and Rome (1957), represents the initiative of greatest regional integration known up to now. Unlike other projects, its level of integration is advanced, but at the same time irregular. In the project, priority has been given to economic field rather than political ones. At the present time, the EU is at a crossroads: moving towards a more federal path (giving more powers to the Commission and Parliament), or maintaining the predominant intergovernmental dynamics so far (based on the relevant role, also in the legislative, of the Council). This paper tries to define the European Union and analyze the different integration paths that are presented, as well as the different proposals that have recently been presented supporting one or the other. ; La Unión Europea, creada -en sus versiones anteriores- por los Tratados de París (1951) y de Roma (1957), representa la iniciativa de mayor integración regional conocida hasta ahora. A diferencia de otros proyectos, su nivel de integración es avanzado, pero al mismo tiempo irregular. En él se ha dado prioridad al campo económico sobre el político. En el momento actual, la UE se encuentra en una encrucijada entre avanzar hacia una vía más federal (dando más poderes a la Comisión y al Parlamento), o mantener la dinámica intergubernamental predominante hasta ahora (basada en el papel relevante, también en el aspecto legislativo, del Consejo). En el presente trabajo se trata de definir la Unión Europea y de analizar las diversas vías de integración que se presentan, así como las distintas propuestas que se han expuesto recientemente apoyando unas u otras.

Este estudio mide la eficiencia del gasto público en educación secundaria en 35 países desarrollados y en desarrollo mediante el uso de una metodología semiparamétrica DEA (análisis envolvente de datos) en dos pasos. En primer lugar, implementamos dos modelos de frontera transfronteriza para el período 2009-2012: uno que utiliza un aporte físico (es decir, relación maestro-alumno) y otro que utiliza un aporte monetario (es decir, gasto gubernamental por estudiante secundario). Estos resultados se corrigen por los efectos del PIB per cápita y el logro educativo de los adultos como insumos no discrecionales. Obtenemos cuatro resultados importantes: (i) los países desarrollados y en desarrollo tienen los mismos procesos de producción educativa cuando se comparan utilizando insumos físicos, pero no cuando se los compara con insumos monetarios; (ii) los países en desarrollo podrían aumentar sus tasas de matrícula y puntajes PISA en aproximadamente un 9% y un 5%, respectivamente, al mantener las mismas proporciones maestro-alumno y los niveles de gasto público que los países desarrollados; (iii) Irlanda, Japón y Corea son países eficientes en los dos modelos de frontera (Colombia también se incluye en esta categoría cuando se utiliza la relación maestro-alumno como insumo); y (iv) la sólida evidencia empírica indica que tanto el ingreso como el logro educativo de los padres afectan positivamente la eficiencia de la educación pública en ambos modelos. ; This study measures the efficiency of public secondary education expenditure in 35 developing and developed countries using a two-step semi-parametric DEA (data envelopment analysis) methodology. First, we implement two cross-country frontier models for the 2009-2012 period: one using a physical input (i.e., teacher-pupil ratio) and one using a monetary input (i.e., government expenditure per secondary student). These results are corrected by the effects of GDP per capita and adult educational attainment as non-discretionary inputs. We obtain four important results: (i) developed and developing countries have the same education production processes when they are compared using physical inputs but not when compared using monetary inputs; (ii) developing countries could increase their enrollment rates and PISA scores by approximately 9% and 5%, respectively, by maintaining the same teacher-pupil ratios and public spending levels as developed countries; (iii) Ireland, Japan and Korea are efficient countries in the two frontier models (Colombia is also included in this category when the teacher-pupil ratio is used as input); and (iv) robust empirical evidence indicates that both income and parental educational attainment positively affect the efficiency of public education in both models.

AbstractIncome inequality and house prices have risen sharply in developed countries during 1975–2010. In line with theoretical models, we argue that this co-movement is no coincidence, but that inequality has driven up house prices on the grounds that it raises the aggregate demand for housing. Our results suggest that absolute inequality and house prices in most Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries were positively correlated and cointegrated, whereas relative inequality and mean income were not significant long-run determinants. This finding indicates that the surge in OECD house prices in part can be explained by a top-income-induced increase in housing demand, and that it is important to consider the interaction of rising mean income and its relative distribution when studying potential correlates of house prices. Moreover, our results confirm previous findings that the short-term real interest rate also is an important correlate of house prices.

The massive means of communication seek to influence permanently the topics that are priority for the hearings, hence it is necessary to study how they carry out strategies that allow them to determine the importance and relevancy of the information. From the theory of Framing, in the fields of identity of social movements, it is possible to identify and to reveal informative strategies of the mass media. This article analyzes the conformation and transformation of the fields of identity of the actors involved in the removal of state immunity from prosecution (desafuero) of the Mexico City's Chief of Government, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, for two Mexican newspapers: La Jornada and Reforma. Journalistic tools were used by those newspapers to influence the perception of their audiences, therefore they were not only information transmitters ; Los medios de comunicación buscan permanentemente influir en los temas que son prioritarios para las audiencias, por lo que es necesario estudiar cómo llevan a cabo estrategias que les permiten determinar la importancia y relevancia de la información. A partir de la teoría del Framing, en los campos de identidad de los movimientos sociales, es posible identificar y desvelar estrategias informativas de los mass media. Este artículo analiza la conformación y transformación de los campos de identidad de los actores involucrados en el desafuero del Jefe de Gobierno del Distrito Federal, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), por dos diarios mexicanos La Jornada y Reforma. Los periódicos analizados hicieron uso de herramientas periodísticas para influir en la percepción de sus audiencias, por lo que no fueron simples transmisores de la información

RESUMEN: En este artículo, se hace una breve revisión de las principales propuestas teóricas sobre distribución del ingreso, crecimiento económico y pobreza, así como algunas estrategias para la reducción de la pobreza. Seguidamente se comenta el comportamiento reciente de los resultados que la economía colombiana ha arrojado en esta materia y su relación con la evolución del mercado laboral. Con el fin de determinar una relación cuantitativa que permita conocer los efectos del crecimiento y de la distribución del ingreso sobre la evolución de la pobreza, se hace una estimación con el método de mínimos cuadrados ordinarios. La evidencia empírica aportada por la estimación sugiere que el crecimiento económico y la distribución del ingreso generan disminuciones de la pobreza, pero que es más importante el efecto de la distribución. Con base en tales estimaciones se simulan diferentes escenarios para el período 2004-2019, adicionalmente se construye la curva de "iso-pobreza" para analizar la propuesta del actual gobierno de reducir la pobreza 10 puntos hacia 2010. Todos los resultados sugieren que para reducir la pobreza es más efectiva la combinación de crecimiento y distribución, que el mero crecimiento sin mejoras distributivas. ; ABSTRACT: In this article a brief review of the main theoretical proposals on distribution, economic growth and poverty is made, jointly with some strategies for poverty reduction. Then the authors comment the recent results of the Colombian economy for these subjects and their relationship with the labor market. In order to determine a quantitative relationship to know the effects of growth and distribution on poverty evolution, an ordinary least squares (OLS) estimation was performed. The empirical evidence suggests that economic growth and distribution generate a decrease in poverty, although income distribution effect is more important than the economic growth effect. Several scenarios are simulated for 2004- 2019, using the estimations of the OLS model. Besides, the "isopoverty" curve is constructed to analyse the actual government's proposal for reducing 10 poverty points forward 2010. All of the results suggest that in order to get a more effective poverty reduction, a growth and distribution combination is better than a mere growth effort without any distribution improvement.

AbstractThe presence and influence of peripheral elites in national political institutions is frequently handled by the press. But, oddly enough, the lack of a comprehensive vision of this issue tends to feed flashy titles alerting about the influence of some territorial groups in central institutions such as the "Scottish Raj," the "Tartan mafia," or the "Cosa Scotia" in London. This article aims to provide a general theoretical framework able to orient those fragmented researches. This literature review was led from May 2018 to June 2020. It presents those results in six sections. The ways in which peripheral elites get access to central institutions are analyzed in the first section. In the second section, we introduce the literature about the presence of peripheral elites in the state apparatus, before stressing the different networks representing the interests of peripheries in the city capitals in section three. Fourth, this article points out the various career orientations of peripheral elected officials. This leads us to question their policy influence in different fields. Lastly, a short section tackles the phobias provoked by the rise of peripheral elites occupying central political positions, before proposing a general framework for orienting future research on this topic.
