The Ph.D. examines the intellectual pattern of the English philosopher Gerald A. Cohen together with the constitution of analytical Marxism. It deals with the possibility to reconstruct Marx's theory on the basis of non Marxian methodological tools. First it displays the founding proposals by Cohen, who defends historical materialism with the norms of analytical philosophy. Therefore, he establishes a dialogue between two traditions who have long ignored each other. Then, it presents the reconstruction proposed by analytical Marxism, which amounts to refute the theoretical content of Marxism, especially with John Roemer's and Jon Elster's works. Finally it describes the move that Cohen both refuted historical materialism and gave up Marxism on the one hand, and entered the post-utilitarist debate in normative political philosophy on the other hand. We conclude that, since the interpretation proposed by Cohen and the analytical Marxists led to a failure of Marxism as a tool for understanding the social world, the plausibility of Marxism to be compatible with orthodox methodological tools is weakened, and the possibility that dialectical materialism is valid, with an unity between substance and method, is maintained. ; La thèse étudie le parcours intellectuel du philosophe anglais Gerald A. Cohen, en lien avec les travaux du marxisme analytique. Elle interroge la possibilité d'une reconstruction de l'œuvre théorique de Marx sur des fondements méthodologiques non marxiens. La spécificité de ce parcours lui confère une singularité au sein du corpus marxiste. Ses travaux s'articulent principalement autour de deux centres d'intérêt, le matérialisme historique et la philosophie politique, de plusieurs dizaines d'articles, et de quatre ouvrages : sur le matérialisme historique, Karl Marx's Theory of History: A Defence (1978) et History Labour and Freedom: Themes from Marx (1988) ; sur la philosophie politique, Self-ownership, Freedom and Equality (1995) et If You're an Egalitarian, How Come You're So Rich? (1999). Leur ensemble forme une continuité, un programme de recherche évolutif engagé avec Karl Marx's Theory of History : A Defence, dont la publication a déclenché une révolution dans le programme de recherche théorique portant sur l'œuvre de Marx et Engels. Resting it upon scarcity, rationality and knowledge, he has torn apart a philosophical anthropology from a theory of social transformation, and he has dealt with collective action as an unintentional consequence of the existig social structure. Facing with recent structural transformations, this conception has been revised in response to the modifications of social structure and to new environmental issues. This article views environment as a productive force, which existence is threatened by the current social structure. Cet article présente une analyse croisée des contributions de Karl Marx et de Joseph Schumpeter sur la question des classes sociales. Les divergences que nous soulevons portent sur deux questions, la première nourrissant la seconde. Les deux auteurs reconnaissent tous deux l'existence de classes sociales fondées sur la hiérarchie et la discipline. Marx les conçoit sous l'angle du conflit porteur d'un changement visant à abolir la hiérarchie de classe, et de la sorte l'inscrit dans la nécessité d'une prise de conscience facilitant le passage d'une classe en soi objective à une classe pour soi subjective. De son côté, Schumpeter préconise un degré significatif de discipline propre à assurer le progrès dont est porteur le capitalisme. Ainsi, alors que Marx conçoit le capitalisme comme un mode transitoire d'organisation sociale qui porte les germes de son déséquilibre et de sa disparition, c'est sous l'angle du déclin, via sa bureaucratisation, de l'innovation et donc du progrès, que Schumpeter envisage la fin programmée du capitalisme.

The Front National (FN) was founded in 1972 on the initiative of a New Association, a fascist organisation made up of supporters of Marshal Pétain, former tortionaries of the Algerian war, Catholic leaders. led by Jean-Marie Le Pen. His daughter Marine Le Pen succeeded him in 2011. Thus, the NF came not from the labour movement but from the most reshareholder part of the bourgeoisie. It is a bourgeois party, he defends capitalism: "We do not call into question the market economy, nor the benefits of competition if it is fair."
