Reproductive performance of dairy cows has a direct impact on herd productivity. Infectious agents, such as Bluetongue Virus (BTV) and Bovine Leukemia Virus (BLV), are associated with reproductive failure. However, it remains unknown if these viruses are present in the uterus and cause gestational loss. This study used molecular methods to assess if BTV and BLV can be detected in the uterus of serologically positive dairy cows with a record of abortions, stillbirths and repeat breeding (n=23) and without a record of reproductive problems (n =23). The cows came from three dairy herds of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. BTV was not detected in any of the uterine biopsies. Proviral DNA of BLV was detected in 54.5 % of the seropositive cows, but positivity for BLV in the uterus was not associated with the existence of reproductive problems. In conclusion, this study shows that BLV, but not BTV, is present in the uterus of seropositive cows, regardless of reproductive performance.

Undergraduates (N = 248) at a private, midsize, Midwestern university provided self-reports of their psychological problems; stress; demographic variables; and people to whom they talked when they had problems. Help sources ranged from natural to formal support. Three patterns of psychological
problems emerged: internalized distress; alcohol abuse; and dysfunctional eating. Demographic variables included, but were not limited to; gender, age, class, international student status, ethnicity, major, religion, residence, and parental income. Neither levels of psychological problems
nor stress had much relation to self-reported talking, although internalized distress predicted talking to a counselor. Many demographic variables, particularly gender, international student status, ethnicity, full-time versus part-time status, and major, predicted talking to help sources.
Females acknowledged talking more frequently, but genders showed the same preferences for help sources. Results raise issues of helping students, particularly those with alcohol abuse or eating problems, through either arenas or personnel which are nontraditional.

The current state of implementation of the principle of legality in labor relations and the practice of its application does not fully correspond to the constant changes in the policy of the state, its economy, society, etc. As a result, the implementation of the principle of legality in labor relations is characterized by the presence of numerous problems, that are regularly pointed out by scientists in their writings. The most appropriate way of solving the problems of implementing the principle of legality in labor relations is the adoption of the new Labor Code of Ukraine. However, it has remained as the project for the last few years, and it is difficult to predict the immediate prospects for its adoption at this time. Therefore, the relevance of research into the implementation of the principle of legality in labor relations is that, while the new Labor Code of Ukraine has not yet been adopted, the search for alternative ways of their solution is necessary. In this article argued propositions of solving problems of the implementation of the principle of legality in labor relations are analyzed. First and foremost, their availability is due to the obsolete version of the current Code of Labor Laws of Ukraine. Given the rapid development of public relations, changes in the policy of the state, its economy, society, etc., it does not meet the requirements of time, because a large number of new types of activities that have arisen over the past decades are not provided by this Law in general. Papers and labor legislation in the context of disclosing the content of this problem were researched, and it has been established that ensuring legality in labor relations is complicated in conditions where such legal relationships are not provided for by current labor legislation. In addition, the norms of this normative legal act are vague regulate the labor relations of different categories of employees - it is explored that constitutional norms regarding equal access to work, as well as the prevention of discrimination in the field of labor, are not always carried out in labor relations. Therefore, in this article the advantages of the draft Labor Code of Ukraine regarding the implementation of the principle of legality in labor relations are outlined, as well as ways of solving main problems in this area. ; Реализация принципа законности в трудовых правоотношениях характеризуется нали-чием многочисленных проблем, обусловленных постоянным развитием Украины как государства, а также общественных отношений внутри него. Как следствие, действующее законодатель-ство о труде не всегда адекватно реагирует на такие изменения, появляются многочисленные пробелы, которыми пользуются работодатели в своих интересах. Действующий на сегодня Кодекс законов о труде Украины было принято еще во времена Советского Союза. Несмотря на изменения, которые регулярно вносятся в его содержание, сфера трудовых правоотношений традиционно остается одной из самых проблемных в Украине в контексте правового регули-рования и обеспечения законности. Еще с момента провозглашения независимости в научных кругах постоянно обсуждается необходимость принятия Трудового кодекса Украины, который будет соответствовать лучшим образцам европейского законодательства, а не будет факти-чески советским наследием национальной правовой системы. На сегодня существует несколько редакций проекта Трудового кодекса Украины, принятие которого по оценкам экспертов решит большинство проблем принципа законности в трудовых правоотношениях. Вместе с тем, Тру-довой кодекс Украины все еще остается проектом, а потребность в решении проблем принципа законности в трудовых правоотношениях существует уже сейчас. Поэтому, в условиях, когда время принятия Трудового кодекса Украины трудно спрогнозировать, важна активизация оте-чественных ученых в целях поиска альтернативных путей их решения. Нами проанализированы научные труды и трудовое законодательство в контексте раскрытия содержания данной про-блемы, и установлено, что обеспечение законности в трудовых правоотношениях затруднено в условиях, когда такие правоотношения регулируются устаревшими нормами. Также в данной статье установлено, что конституционные нормы относительно равного доступа к труду, а также недопущения дискриминации в сфере труда сегодня не всегда выполняются в трудо-вых правоотношениях. Выделено острые проблемы законности в трудовых правоотношениях и предложены пути их решения. ; Сучасний стан реалізації принципу законності у трудових правовідносинах та практика його застосування не повною мірою відповідає постійним змінам у політиці держави, її економіці, суспільстві тощо. Тож актуальність дослідження проблем реалізації принципу законності у трудових пра-вовідносинах полягає у тому, що поки новий Трудовий кодекс України ще не прийнятий, пошук альтернативних шляхів їх вирішення є необхідним. У даній статті нами проаналізовано проблеми реалізації принципу законності у трудових правовідносинах. Передусім їх наявність обумовлена застарілістю чинного Кодексу законів про працю України. Враховуючи стрімкий розвиток суспіль-них відносин, зміни у політиці держави, її економіці, суспільстві тощо, він не відповідає вимогам часу, адже велика кількість нових видів діяльності, які виникли протягом останніх десятиліть, не передбачені даним нормативно-правовим актом взагалі. Досліджено наукові праці та трудове законодавство у контексті розкриття змісту даної проблеми і встановлено, що забезпечення законності у трудових правовідносинах є ускладненим в умовах, коли такі правовідносини не передбачені чинним законодавством про працю. Окрім того, норми даного нормативно-правового акта є нечіткими та неоднорідно врегульовують трудові правовідносини різних категорій пра-цівників – встановлено, що конституційні норми щодо рівного доступу до праці, а також недопу-щення дискримінації у сфері праці сьогодні не завжди виконуються у трудових правовідносинах. Abstract. As educators we seek to set up meaningful graduate attributes to encourage creativity and a drive for innovation among our graduates in order to produce professionals not content with learning how to do more of the same, but who have the courage to push the boundaries of their profession and innovate. Referring to preparatory research on work in progress at Curtin University, we explored the capacity of team teaching using online gaming platform technology. We investigated the feasibility of engaging teams of students in practical applications of theoretical concepts of communicative and collaborative planning and decision-making, along with the dynamics and politics of community consultation in a pluralistic society. We ascertained the potential of developing students' interpersonal and intercultural skills to develop collaborative partnerships through engagement with fellow students and a wide range of stakeholders/partners, simulating real-life situations using serious gaming platforms. It is contended that through a collaborative and experiential learning-approach to teaching and by employing state-of-the-art online gaming/teaching platforms, we could enable students to deal with real-life issues in simulated and sufficiently supervised conditions to encourage creativity and risk taking. This would encourage students to strive for creativity in solving contextual problems in their search for innovative solutions to complex and wicked problems. It is also contended that state-of-the-art delivery of curricula could free up academics during teaching sessions to concentrate on inspiring students to explore innovative and creative solutions for these problems.Keywords. The article examines the life activity of the rural population of the Russian Far East in the 1970s – the first half of the 1980s through a set of existing problems and contradictions. Special attention is paid to a number of socio-economic phenomena that caused a negative reaction of rural residents, primarily agricultural workers. The attitude that the villagers felt towards their position in the region and in the structure of the Far Eastern society should not be considered purely negative. It also had positive manifestations. Nevertheless, within the framework of this article, the author focuses on the negative aspects of life, which were permanent and intensified under the influence of both subjective and objective factors. Topicality of this issue is given by the fact that many processes that affected the villagers of the late socialism era also take place in modern Russian reality. The author notes the complexity and ambiguity of the existing problems, the insufficient efforts of the authorities to overcome them, and the formation by the mid-1980s of a clear trend of the outflow of young, able-bodied and qualified population to more favourable areas, primarily cities.

This article reports the effects of a science, technology, and society (STS) teaching approach on the knowledge and attitudes of preservice science and mathematics teachers in Uganda toward global science and technology-based problems and/or threats. The responses of a baseline or control group (N = 50) and an experimental group (N = 50) to five questions on the preassessment indicated how little knowledge these preservice teachers had regarding these issues; however, the responses of the experimental group on the postassessment also showed how quickly a short treatment using an STS teaching approach could improve their knowledge. These results also inform planning for science education in Uganda to achieve science literacy in general, and particularly the understanding of environmental science problems and/or threats facing Ugandan citizens.

The article examines the key problems of imperfection of the current legislation of Ukraine, namelythe rights of persons with disabilities. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the issue of employment ofpersons with disabilities has not been sufficiently resolved to date. It is emphasized that the basic law ofUkraine is the Constitution.
