1859 Florida Court Indictment reads: "To J. N. Butler, We recommend you to appear before the Judge of our Circuit Court for the County of Jackson, in the Western Circuit of the State aforesaid, at the Court House in Marianna, on the first Monday in May next, to testify and the truth to say on behalf of The State of Florida in a certain matter of indictment between said state, and James N. Egerlow, who stands indicted for receiving from slave. Defendant. And this you shall in no wise omit. Witness, John N. Proser, Clerk of our said Circuit Court, this 21st day of January A.D., 1859 and 83 year of American Independence. John N. Proser, Clerk." Includes front and back.
