"Die Türkei hat seit dem Ende des Kalten Kriegs ein außerordentliches und bemerkenswertes Engagement auf dem Balkan gezeigt. Dieses Engagement hat sich insbesondere nach dem Amtsantritt des türkischen Außenministers Ahmet Davutoglu im Jahr 2009 um ein Vielfaches verstärkt. In allen Balkanstaaten sind die Präsenz und der Einfluss der Türkei zu spüren, wobei diese Tatsache nicht in allen Staaten des Balkans auf Zustimmung stößt. Dennoch ist gerade im wirtschaftlichen und kulturellen Bereich die Türkei auf dem Balkan auf dem Vormarsch, was zahlreiche Analysten dazu veranlasst, die Europäische Union vor einer zu langen Hinhaltetaktik in Bezug auf die Balkanstaaten zu warnen, da dies den Einfluss der Türkei stärken und somit die Zugkraft der EU in dieser Region erheblich schwächen könnte. Die Türkei selbst musste in ihren Beziehungen und Beitrittsbemühungen zur EU zahlreiche Rückschläge hinnehmen. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass die Türkei das Land mit der längsten Beitrittsgeschichte zur EU ist, verwundert es daher kaum, dass sie nach einem erneuten und sehr ernüchternden Stillstand in den Beitrittsverhandlungen neue Schwerpunkte und Ausrichtungen in ihrer Außenpolitik gesetzt hat. Was zahlreiche Beobachter allerdings überrascht hat, ist die vehemente und auch sehr rapide Umsetzung dieser neuen Politik, die nach 2009 eingesetzt hat. Bevor jedoch näher auf diese Politik eingegangen wird, soll zunächst ein kurzer Blick auf die sehr wechselvolle Geschichte der Türkei-EU-Beziehungen geworfen werden." (Autorenreferat)

Entrepreneurship in the Balkan countries ; Balkan ülkelerinde girişimcilik
ln this paper we will examine the challenges and opportunities in the Balkan Countries. Firstly, we want to explain the meaning of the entrepreneurship. the term and its meaning in economic aspect. Entrepreneurship comes from entrepreneur. anglicized from the original French word. lt means someone who undertakes something. The term "entrepreneur" as one who assumes the risk and management of business, enterprise, undertaker. The relevant definition of 'enterprise' in turn, is the character or disposition that leads one to attempt the difficult, untried or to develop his own business idea. Further we will continue to discuss about the confronting issues of the Balkan countries. more concretely, Republic of Macedonia and Montenegro. These Countries are challenging new phase of development and the involvement of the political parties as privatization also being seen as another issue. As both countries are more categorized as undeveloped, their main problem is the pressure of the political parties through which the countries cannot be developed in an economy as a whole and using the resources they posses. On the other hand both countries, Macedonia and Montenegro are wealthy in the agricultural sphere and they have highly development of the tourism. ; Bu makale boyunca Balkan ülkelerinde yaşanabilecek zorlukları ve karşılaşılabilecek fırsatları inceleyeceğiz. İlk olarak, girişimcilik kelimesinin tam olarak ne anlama geldiğini ve ekonomik açılardan ne anlam ifade ettiğini belirterek başlamak istiyoruz. Girişimcilik Fransız bir kelime olan girişim [entrepreneur] kelimesinden gelmektedir. Anlamı ise bir kişinin bir işin sorumluluğunu alması şeklindedir. Girişim işletmenin ve kurumun yönetimini ve riskini üstlenen kişi olarak düşünülebilir, "kurum" (enterprise) kelimesinin bir diğer ifadesi ise "birinin kendi işletme fikrini geliştirmesi için denenmemiş ve zor olanı denemesi için onu harekete geçiren özellik ya da oluşumdur.
