The current study included interpretations of the three-dimensional seismic Data for the Nasiriya oil field implemented by the Oil exploration company in 2010 with a planned surface coverage area of 1273 km². The Nasiriyah field is located in southern Iraq within the Dhi Qar Governorate, about (10) km northwest of the governorate center (Nasiriyah), and the Muthanna governorate is located in the northwestern part of the field, which is approximately (15) km west of the governorate center (Samawah). The information from the wells (well velocity survey, formation depths, logs) was relied upon and entered into the seismic cube data to capture the top of the Mishrif Formation. In addition is to pick the top of the Rumaila Formation, which represents the bottom of the Mishrif Formation. The top and bottom Mishrif reflectors were picked, interpreted, and tracked within the region. The reflector's two-way time (TWT), velocity, and depth maps showed structural closure features in the center of the area, and the general direction of the closure is thenorthwest–southeast. The structural maps showed a general tendency towards the northeast. The isopach map showed that the thickness values of the Mishrif Formation increased to the west and northwest while the thickness decreased toward the east and southeast.

In this present paper , a special model was built to govern the equations of two dimensional peristaltic transport to nanofluid flow of a heat source in a tapered considered in an asymmetric channel. The equations of dimensionless temperature concentration are analytical solve under assumption slow Reynolds number and long wave length. Furthermore, the results that receive by expressing the maximum pressure rise communicates increased in case of non-Newtonian fluid when equated with Newtonian fluid. The research examines general budget (GB) deficit and its impact on Iraq's internal debt(ID) repayment(DR) for some time. (2004-2019), deficit is financed by issuing bonds , treasury transfers and selling them in primary market. The banking system often acquires the largest proportion of these bonds, with contribution of bank debt in 2019 reaching 71% of total domestic debt. Borrowing amounts often went consumer spending without investing in productive sector or rehabilitating infrastructure to create suitable ground for improving the realities of productive sectors such as industry and agriculture in country's financial surpluses ", noting that during most of years of consideration General Budget enjoyed financial surpluses but the default was the best option for Financial Authority owing to its dominance of the monetary authority and the lack of clear Government programmers (GP)for successive budgets, The analytical method of data , standard analysis, Results of which showed a weak correlation between the budget deficit , non-payment of internal debt, due to, was used, with greatest impact being the dominance of financial authority's failure to pay during majority of surplus years. Based on foregoing, the study's findings recommend a policy of fiscal control , rationalization of public expenditure by reducing some paragraphs of unnecessary expenditure, sustaining domestic debt, diversifying sources of domestic debt financing from non-banking institutions and contributing to the public to a greater proportion of domestic savings.

It is incontestable that the modern Lekki Peninsula morphed from a purely agrarian, rural and traditional society. In contemporary Lagos State (the commercial nerve of Nigeria), communities within the Lekki Peninsula remain a combination of rapidly growing built-up urban areas. As a part of a transformation process, there is a large form of residential, commercial, and industrial activities currently going on within the area. Acquisition of lands and accommodation within the area has become one of the most expensive in Lagos State. On the basis of the foregoing assertions, this paper examines the historical origin of the developments that have been witnessed in modern Lekki Peninsula. It specifically traces the factors that promoted the transformation of the Peninsula from a traditional society to an urban centre. It further examines the consequences of these transformations on the indigenous people and the pre-existing traditional communities. Using the historical approach to data collation and interpretations, the study adopts the qualitative research methodology. The paper argues that the Lekki Peninsula has overtime enjoyed a rapid spate of transformation, urbanisation and development, which were promoted by such factors as colonial experience, proximity to the city of Lagos, and some deliberate policies of the government among others.

This study investigated the impact of foreign direct investment on employment creation in Nigeria for the period of 35years (1985-2019). The study used five regressors (foreign direct investment, trade openness, government expenditure, infrastructural development, and exchange rate) and one explained variable (employment rate). The data were culled from the World Bank Development Indicators and analysis was carried out using unit root test, ordinary least square and granger causality test. The findings revealed that there is negative and insignificant relationship between trade openness, government expenditure, infrastructures and employment rate. However, positive relationship exists between foreign direct investment, exchange rate and employment but statistically insignificant at 5% level of significance. Based on the f-statistic result, the study concluded that foreign direct investment played a crucial role in creating employment for the citizens of Nigeria. It was therefore recommended among others that government should improve the state of infrastructures and security in the country as the present economy is characterized by terrorisms, kidnapping and robbery and this may drive out the investors in the country and discourage the potential ones.

The volatility spillover is broadly measured as the transmission of variability from one financial market to other markets. This study explores the spillover effect between the newly emerged index of the Pakistan stock exchange (PSX) and exchange rate by using the newly proposed alternative methodology by Ghouse et al. (2019) and GARCH model. Furthermore, the index under study is more concise in its composition than other readily used indices. The study finds shreds of evidence for the bidirectional spillover effect between PSX and exchange rate, which will be helpful for central policy makers and markets players in designing effective policy frameworks.

This study investigates the digital divide in access to remote learning for children in Nigeria, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The data used in this study is from a survey conducted by The Education Partnership (TEP) Centre and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), which sampled 557 students and 626 parents living in Nigeria. From the survey, we found: a relationship between the socioeconomic status and the digital divide in accessing remote learning, significant differences in students' access to remote learning opportunities during the pandemic, and significant differences in access to digital tools between students in government schools and their private school counterparts. We also found a statistically significant association between parental level of education and the ability to support children's remote learning during the pandemic.
