Abstract
What does the demand to 'decolonise the university' imply for the discipline of Theatre and Performance Studies? Based on questions and insights derived from the author's own pedagogical practices and experiences at the University of Amsterdam, the article enquires into the intellectual traditions in the discipline of Theatre Studies that place questions of decolonisation together with a multi-axis, intersectional analysis of race, class, gender, sexuality, and global asymmetries. To what extent is the discipline of Theatre and Performance Studies still imperialist? What are the ways of acknowledging absences and invisibilities? How does embodied knowledge become knowable? The article reflects on how the question of the decolonisation of the university is inseparable from the question of defending the task of the university in social and political struggles, as a sphere of civic engagement. It equally emphasises the significance of theatrical and performative modes of engagement in these struggles. The classroom becomes a crucial site for the exploration of these issues.

The aim of the present study is to throw some lighton the revolutionary contribution of SPSS in current socialsciences research. SPSS (Statistical Package for the SocialSciences) is a widely used program for statisticalanalysis in social science. Computer technology haspermeated every phase of research and experimentation in thesocial sciences; and within related fields such as business andeducation, the computer has become an indispensable tool,from marketing research and consumer behavior to trendanalysis and forecasting. Clearly, it is this single aspect ofcomputing that has enabled social scientists to grasp the trulycomplex nature of human behavior and social organizations.Nevertheless, social scientists have come to involve thecomputer in nearly every component of their research, fromthe literature search, to the implementation of experiments,and to the writing of the manuscript on a word processor. Thecapability of SPSS is truly astounding. SPSS is also used bymarket researchers, health researchers, survey companies,government, education researchers, marketing organizations,data miners, and others. In addition to statistical analysis,data management (case selection, file reshaping, creatingderived data) and data documentation (a metadata dictionarywas stored in the data file) are features of the base software.The package enables the researchers to obtain statisticsranging from simple descriptive numbers to complex analysesof multivariate matrices along with plotting the data inhistograms, scatter plots, and other ways. The SPSS hasreduced the requirement for researchers to be able toundertake several of the calculations that area unit needed forapplied math analyses. There have been made many significant steps toward implementing reforms which lead Albanian Government to a consolidated integration process. Many challenges and obstacles have hindered this path, particularly those of a political nature, to which my country is still very sensitive. A kind of "hot spot" in all this discussion appeared to be the newest reform called "administrative territorial reform" or "decentralization process" which has already been implemented in 2015. Amongst the range of studies, consultations and amalgamate process in multi level governance,the concept of integration has been isolated from the perspective of European integration. The Albanian Government has undertaken this reform with the ad-hoc Parliamentary Committee in close coordination and cooperation with the local government units, funded by the STAR Project (Support to Territorial and Administrative Reform) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Despite this, there is not much evidence of a deeper cooperation to determine an integrated package of principles whereby local government authorities reflect realistic concerns about EU's influence along their mission and activities. This paper intends to explore whether the implementation of this administrative-territorial reform has taken into consideration the formal set up of EU integration, or has at least established the necessary legal, financial, cultural environment with the overall aim to enable European frameworks and processes even in local authorities and communities. Indian government has worked towards its commitment to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. Huge investments are being made by Government of India to achieve these goals. A well framed roadmap is being developed for accelerating child survival and improving maternal health and 16 indicators is selected for this purpose. The improvement in these indicators shows the way towards the achievement of MDGs. India has made considerable progress over the last few years since NRHM in the area of maternal and child health, which was further accelerated after introduction of RMNCHA+ () strategy which appropriately directs the states to focus their efforts on the most vulnerable and disadvantaged sections of the society in the country. Main focus is healthy mothers and child. It also emphasizes on the need to reinforce efforts in those poor performing districts that have already been identified as the high focus districts. 'Continuum care' is required to have equal focus on various life stages. Improvement in these indicators provide an understanding the importance of 'continuum of care' to ensure equal focus on various life stages. Some low performing districts had shown an improvement over period of time in its RMNCHA+ indicators.</em></p></div>
