; Around the mid- 20s in Spain a process of acculturation of women was to take place that would lead to major changes with regard to their active participation in society. Women would begin to become aware of themselves, of their own potential and, at the same time, their disadvantaged position when compared to men. This situation leads to the awakening of the critical sense as women- they no longer wish to contemplate the reality, but now want to intervene. The female reflection on the world that she can scarcely affect will be gaining ground and becoming more important, as shown in the journalistic work of the playwright Carmen Nelken, better known by her pen name, Magda Donato. Her thinking, within the framework of a more critical feminism than their contemporary, has been virtually ignored and forgotten for years. Therefore, it requires a look back in order to establish the ideological parameters on which rests its position on the current model in the early decades of the last century, as evidenced by the number of articles published in Spain in 1920. Donato uses the word to demonstrate the lack of real champions of feminism in Spain that can lead this movement of liberation and social integration of women into the way of coherence and effectiveness, especially among those who occupy important positions in the political arena . This happens at a time when feminist women's organizations have proliferated considerably but without a real awareness of what it meant to the struggle for equality that for Magda Donato was closely related to the achievement of the right to vote that would ensure better working conditions and access to culture.

L'esperienza in atto a San Donato Milanese mira proprio a definire provvedimenti regolativi a fianco dello strumento pianificatorio.

Mattioda ; International audience ; According to an internal perspective in Florentine political history, in 1537 Cosimo I de Medici is considered to be the swan song for the republican opposition, symbolised by the military defeat of the anti-Medici troops in Montemurlo in August. Nevertheless, the correspondence of the spy Bernardino Duretti, charged with monitoring the fuorusciti networks that unfurled across the peninsula and continent according to a polycentric logic, encourages a fresh rereading of the history of Florentine political exile by suggesting that the year 1537 was less a sign of rupture than a transformation of the practices of exiles and of forms of repression by the Ducal government. By revealing the mediating role played by Donato Gianotti within the fragmented opposition, the letters from "l'amico de Venetia" highlight how the regime's shifting strategies are inscribed in a variable geometric space, from inside the city's walls – as they fed local intrigues – to the European chessboard – thanks to the intervention of the large powers in diplomatic relations. Here, it is thus a matter of hypothesising that the epilogue of the fuoruscitismo depended much less on a strictly Florentine history than on a European configuration unique to the Italian Wars.

In his semi-autobiographical novels, Las tinieblas de su memoria negra (Shadows of your black memory) and Los poderes de la tempestad (Power of the storm), the Equatoguinean writer Donato Ndongo-Bidyogo describes a boy's, and then the man's, life in colonial and postcolonial Equatorial Guinea, Spain's only sub-Saharan colony. This paper argues that the numerous descriptions of the food encountered by the protagonist immerse the reader in four different worlds: that of his Fang ethnic group in the Hispanic colony; that of the colonial priests and emancipados of the protagonist's youth; then the horrors encountered under the cruel postcolonial tyrant, Macías Nguema and finally his recollections of life in exile in Spain. A taxonomy on how food and meals are used in fiction is presented in order to evaluate how Ndongo-Bidyogo's use of food in his novels might fit into such a scheme. Finally, it is suggested that food may make a more regular appearance in the semi-autobiographical novel than in other fiction.
