This article presents the museum in the contemporary world in a metamuseological way, id est in a way that includes the historical and philosophical discourse of the existence of a cultural institution. Museum templum, museum forum, slow museum, attentive museum and other concepts are intended to show how cultural institutions are shaped to fit into the concept of the asylum museum. The museum's various metamorphoses have brought it from a "boring" to an attractive model to resemble a postmodern asylum, where the sphere of communication should be developed in order for the audience to experience culture in an inclusive way.

The objective of the article is to check the functionality of the leading concepts explaining the role of media in international relations and foreign policy in the fourth era of political communication. The author focuses on the "CNN effect" and "manufacturing consent" concepts to illustrate how the Almond–Lippman consensus was rejected. The study is framed by the idea of globalization of media and uses the cases from the EU (Poland and the Netherlands), the relations with Russia and the recent migration crisis on the Polish–Belarussian border to assess the role and position of media in international relations in the age of information overload. The author concludes that despite the deep mediatization of societies in the 21st century, the governments are able to take charge of the discourses in international communication using their strategic narratives.

The aim of this article is to analyze Russian-African relations and the continent's reactions to the war in Ukraine unleashed by Putin. The analysis also answers the question of whether the behavior of many African countries during the voting of the UN resolution against the war in Ukraine confirms the influence of Russia on the continent. The article also attempts to identify the causes of the conflict. The analysis of the history of Rusian-African relations is based essentially on the work of Russian historians and the research of Slava Tynes, an African-American researcher. It also includes studies by Arnaud Dubien, a French specialist in Russian foreign policy, Franco-Russian relations, and Russian policy in Africa, as well as by Sophie Coeuré, a professor at the University of Paris, and a specialist in Russia. The analysis of the position of African countries towards the war in Ukraine is based mainly on the publications of African intellectuals examining the behavior of African countries during the vote at the UN forum. Our analysis comes to a conclusion that the strategic attitude of African countries and the AU should be positioned as a powerful factor of reconciliation and mediation. On the other hand, African countries, in most cases, remain divided, weak and dependent on the former colonial powers, which results in the lack of a firm reaction to the protagonists of the war in Ukraine.
