This article aimed at describing Islamic Education strategies and functions in liberating humankind from feudalism. Islam Believes that everybody's status is equal, one thing that makes him different is his piety. There are Three harmonious relationships can be identified; those are the relationship between human being and God "Allah SWT" (Habblun min Allah, theological aspect), between human being and other human being (Hablun min al-nas, athropo-sociological aspect), and between human being and the natural environment (Hablun min al-'alam, cosmological aspect). These harmonious relationships are the manifestation of perfect faithfulness of a Muslim to Allah SWT.In the religious dimension, the main purpose of Islam is to develop awareness and understanding about the meaning and of human's life in relation to God. Meanwhile, in terms of social dimension, the purpose of Islamic Education is to develop understanding of harmonious relationship, either between human beings or between human being with the environment. In this context, human beings hold the responsibility for restraining a society from obstinacy, inanity, and anarchism. In this respect, the concept of liberalism in Islamic Education is to place teachers and students in a harmonious relationship. This relationship is to create learning atmosphere which is based on the principle of democratic and two-way relationship.

In an effort to meet up with animal nutrient shortfall and ever increasing human populacewhile managing the attendant health challenges of meat consumption, various unconventional sources of nutrients, exceptionally micro-livestock, has been recommended to form integral part of the nation's traditional farming system and consumption. Therefore, thefarming and consumption of edible insects are seen as an essential tool in improving the animal nutrient supply in the country. This study therefore aimed at identifying the competencies required in the production of edible insects to train the students of Vocational Agricultural Education (VAE) for considerable economic empowerment post graduation. Thisstudy adopted a survey research design implemented on a population of 104 respondents. It was found that VAE students required all the competencies identified in the entomological literacy, housing, planning, and maintenance of edible insects for economic empowerment psotgraduation. The finding of the test of hypotheses showed no significant difference (p>0.05) in the respondents' mean responses on the entomological literacy, housing, planning, and maintenance competencies needed in the production of edible insects. From this findings, it was therefore recommended that all the identified competencies of edible insect production be applied in the training of VAE students.

This contribution summarizes the most important trends in adult education in Germany as they were elaborated in a secondary analytic research project of the DIE (Deutsches Institut für Erwachsenenbildung - German Institute for Adult Education) in 2007. According to the study, participation in continuing education in Germany is increasing after long years of decrease, even though, overall, financing of adult education has been further reduced. Cooperation as well as competition between continuing education institutions has increased. Course offers have become shorter, counselling and information have more significant roles than in the past, and those employed in adult education, especially teaching staff, have a higher level of qualifications than before. Adult education policy in Germany has varying aims as a result of the federal structure of the country. Incentives for vocational and workplace training predominate however.
